^I use them! Awesome, super cheap glasses. It does take forever though. I am REALLY bad about loosing/breaking my glasses, but it isn't a big deal anymore because I always have a $8 back up pair. It is probably less fashionable than the sites mentioned earlier, but they have a decent variety.

so if anyone is looking to try waxing for the summer I super recommend Elle at puresthetics. I thought it was going to be so freaking awkward and horrible and hurt like a motherfucker and it really wasn't that bad. she does a great job and uses hard wax that doesn't hurt that much. just fyi as I asked around before and no one seemed to recommend anyone. http://pur-esthetics.com/

I've read that the apricot scrub is too rough and leaves microtears all over your skin. I quit using it in favor of finer grit exfoliants, and I do like them better.
4/8/2012 9:22:30 AM
ive been using this for the last little while and i love it!http://www.dermadoctor.com/product_DERMAdoctor-KP-Duty-Dermatologist-Body-Scrub-with-Chemical-Physical-Medi-Exfoliation_1576.html[Edited on April 8, 2012 at 9:25 AM. Reason : what is a finger-grit exfoliant?]

OMG....those dresses from the other page were AWFUL i read the reviews to determine what size to get...they all said to go up a size because they were very snug across the chest...so i got a large...turns out i need pretty much a XXXXL top and a S bottom...that was probably the most awkward dress I've ever tried on in my life

YO EURICA, Now that it's after easter, tell us your theores on white apparel. Specifically, dresses, pants, shoes, and handbags.kthxluvyoubyeeee
4/8/2012 10:57:21 PM
hahah oh geezLet's see here....I love white clothing, but when it's balanced with a little color. It's so so so so hard to pull off ALL white.Love white denim...been on a search for some fab white skinny jeans. I had some white linen pants that I was obsessed with, and I hope I can find a new pair this year.Big fan of the sheer white oxford shirts with some colorful pants/shortsWhite dresses seem to walk a fine line between matronly & straight up prostitute lolWhite shoes make me almost want to throw up in my mouth....though I have seen a few pairs that have been done tastefully. White flip flops (especially platform ones) need to be burned. They look so dirty so fast and its disgusting.White handbags...another difficult subject. I like them when done in a nice structured way. Otherwise they can easily look trashy. I have wanted a white handbag for like 5 years now, but I can't settle on one that doesn't look cheap.(Should I have been posting examples of good vs. bad in each category?)
4/8/2012 11:25:23 PM
rupaul says white shoes are the mark of a true whore. i had to laff at this lady who must have been at least 65 in like, 4 inch white stilettos last night, and wobbly.
4/9/2012 1:27:30 AM
I wear my white linen pants with a green and white striped tank top and my sperrys. Is this cool?
4/9/2012 10:40:34 AM
Everything you do is cool.Man, I haven't worn white shoes since uhm. . .like probably back in training bra days.[Edited on April 9, 2012 at 10:58 AM. Reason : ]

This is as close as I've come to liking a "white" bag:
4/9/2012 10:55:30 AM
I really want a white suit. yay or nay?
4/9/2012 11:43:53 AM
It better be the most tailored piece of clothing you own.
4/9/2012 12:04:13 PM
I am in love with Joie's polaroids.
4/9/2012 7:51:41 PM
Aww, those are cute!
4/9/2012 7:53:02 PM
erica I am going to print out thousands of your posts and tape them up around town.
4/9/2012 11:52:21 PM
HAHAHAHAHI went to paneras tonight and saw a lady wearing platform flip flops (probably my most hated fashion accessorie EVAR) and thought I was gonna die.Luckily I didn't want anyone to look me in the eye because I wasn't wearing make-up so I just cringed really hard on the inside.
4/9/2012 11:54:45 PM
i wear white year round. and white shoes sometimes. i know, fashion faux pas, but i just love white.divababy...i actually own some white platform flip flips. they are like 4 inches of that foamy material. i know, what was i thinking?! i wore them exactly one time, they turned black and were super uncomfortable. i think i bought them with intentions of wearing them to the pool, but how practical are 4 inch shoes at the pool, even if they are foamy flip flops.
4/10/2012 12:06:35 AM
I have some black flip flops that are about 2" thick and super comfy. Wish I could wear them more, but I can't drive in them so they get limited use.
4/10/2012 8:04:27 AM
I don't even...
4/10/2012 11:41:10 AM
Suggest some sandals that are fashionable and good for walking. I need something I can wear while on vacation and driving.
4/10/2012 11:49:25 AM
birkenstock, aravon, clarks, chacos, teva, keen[Edited on April 10, 2012 at 11:53 AM. Reason : ok, maybe i didn't see that fashionable part. but i bet they're fashionable enough for you...]

^WHAT SHE SAID
4/10/2012 11:55:51 AM
i went to a shoe store that claimed they carried those brands and were masters in fitting difficult feet in ottawa yesterday and they literally had not even a single pair of shoes in my size from the womens dept. i asked for a 43 (and anything, not a specific shoe)and she brought me a pair of shoes that were 41. i didn't even want to take off my boots to try them lol
4/10/2012 11:59:19 AM
I got a pair of $14 cute as hell sandals from Target two years ago. They are some of the most comfortable sandals I have. And they are coral colored, which makes them awesome.
4/10/2012 11:59:46 AM
I bet I know which ones they are
4/10/2012 12:03:25 PM
These... but not white! They look a million times cuter in coral.
4/10/2012 12:09:26 PM
yeah, but cheap shoes are always a bit of a gamble, aren't they? for every pair that was as fantastic as a $200 pair, i think i've had at least 10 that got fucked up somehow. and you don't want to be finding out that your shoes suck ass or can break when you're 3 miles away from your next pair. I rarely do it since my shoes are so large, but carrying another pair is always a great idea if you're on a walking trip. oh, i don't wear them but dansko and ecco are also great shoes for normal sized feet. on the fashionable side, i saw some cool sandals and shoes by Josef Seibel yesterday. I can't find a good us site for them yet since my search results are getting shaped by google (sigh).[Edited on April 10, 2012 at 12:21 PM. Reason : giant pics ]
4/10/2012 12:18:37 PM
I will also recommend these. They will run you around $40-$50, but they are incredibly comfortable. It's a leather thong strap, and it's got a pretty extensive warranty. I wore the mess out of mine, until my Mom's dog ate one of the pair. They come in different colors too. I know some people will crap on them because they're crocs, but they ARE comfortable, and they aren't the normal hideousness of crocs.
4/10/2012 12:23:00 PM
Ok Beethoven...I was wrong...those are not the shoes I was thinking
4/10/2012 12:29:40 PM
haha
4/10/2012 12:36:37 PM
Yeah, the white ones truly are ugly.
4/10/2012 12:41:18 PM
I don't think coral would help them too much either
4/10/2012 12:49:37 PM
You'd be surprised! I'll try and find a picture so you can judge.but with a coral sole as well.[Edited on April 10, 2012 at 1:22 PM. Reason : ]
4/10/2012 12:53:41 PM
I LOVE my ecco slip ons I got from goodwill, but I had no idea how expensive they were. Guess I'm saving up for my sandals.
4/10/2012 1:47:16 PM
Beethoven that's the shoe I was thinking of...which is a huge difference than the one you posted.I can deal with that shoe, but the other cannot be fixed by putting it in coral
4/10/2012 1:50:41 PM
Best picture I could quickly find. Yeah, it's a big difference.
4/10/2012 1:52:37 PM

4/10/2012 2:08:19 PM
sweet. i think i am going to buy one for everyone in my family then. more joyful colors for the ladies.
4/10/2012 2:10:14 PM
To cut it back or not to cut. That is the question.Now.The cut. It's also time for new glasses. Do I stick with my look or go for something less noticeable.[Edited on April 10, 2012 at 9:31 PM. Reason : Oh!]
4/10/2012 9:29:59 PM
I like the cut.
4/10/2012 9:30:46 PM
I like the shorter cut a lot (the way it is styled). But I think the length that you have now complements your face better. Either way, your hair looks good at both lengths, so you are lucky there!I wonder what you would look like with some wispy bangs. Have you tried that before? I could see them either being awesome, or terrible for your facial structure, and nothing in between. [Edited on April 10, 2012 at 9:42 PM. Reason : ]
4/10/2012 9:31:36 PM
I have only done bangs when growing out super short hair. My mom always told me not to wear them because they made me look like I have Downs. Gotta love moms.To be fair the longer hair is just blow dried and the cut is fresh from the hair dresser. But who am I kidding. I never fix my hair when it is as long as it is now.
4/11/2012 12:57:03 AM
I like the second picture and the glasses.Hey Beethoven, have you gotten your scarf yet?
4/11/2012 9:23:18 AM
Not yet. But I got the email that it was supposed to have been sent out over the weekend/Monday. Have you gotten yours?
4/11/2012 9:36:54 AM
no. it said it was shipped on April 7th but I can't find the tracking number..... I love tracking numbers, gives me something to obsess over all day long
4/11/2012 9:38:40 AM
Yeah, if I don't have a tracking number, I forget to check the porch for a package when I get home.
4/11/2012 9:39:55 AM
Dermatologist recommended cetaphil gentle face wash for my burny skin. Also neutrogena sensitive sunscreen. I might have vitiligo and they are also checking for lupus. *sigh*
