OMG THANK YOU EL GIMPY. I'M GLAD I DIDN'T WASTE 1K.TRUMP WILL GIVE IT BACK TO ME ANYWAY
11/8/2016 11:19:29 PM
^^we'll have to wait on good exit polls, but it's still very likely podunk white trash propelling trump to victory. Not that in a democracy, you don't have to sometimes cater to podunk white trash.[Edited on November 8, 2016 at 11:20 PM. Reason : ]
11/8/2016 11:20:10 PM
watch the PBS coverage, they have been reviewing exit pollsits not because of podunk white trash, they largely follow party lines. for example trump won educated voters in tons of places[Edited on November 8, 2016 at 11:22 PM. Reason : .]

11/8/2016 11:22:02 PM
I'm still holding out hope that neither of them wins
11/8/2016 11:22:15 PM
people want something different. they don't want the same shit that is failing them and has failed them for years. its not rocket science. bernie was the key.
11/8/2016 11:23:27 PM
The post-mortem on how most (all?) of the polls were wrong will be interesting. Virginia especially shocked me. That looked like a safe state for Hillary for months and she barely won.
11/8/2016 11:24:39 PM
can't forget the polls during the preliminary that showed clinton losing to most candidates and sanders beating them
11/8/2016 11:25:43 PM
you guys called people racists just because they supported trump. no one wants to be labeled a racist anymore so they lied and said they supported clinton.
11/8/2016 11:25:44 PM
DNC propped up the weaker candidate and made it their strategy to force republicans to the extreme rightdon't blame voters. hold those assholes accountable.
11/8/2016 11:27:13 PM
Trump had spent decades screwing over middle class business people. Let's see what happens!!!!!
11/8/2016 11:27:34 PM
non-college whites may not be uneducated but they clearly believe that the great white savior Trump will bring all of their high-paying manufacturing/coal jobs back by canceling trade deals and stopping immigration. Where the education piece comes in is the lack of any foresight as to what these changes will cause - higher price commodities, less jobs, lower output, etc.
11/8/2016 11:28:21 PM
but trump also won college-educated demographics in many states
11/8/2016 11:29:27 PM
^ I think thats where the anti-immigration and anti-woman presidency come into play. Perhaps even some elements of racism. [Edited on November 8, 2016 at 11:31 PM. Reason : a]

The Simpsons had it right..

CNN finally calls Florida for Trump, seemingly an hour after other networks.
11/8/2016 11:36:08 PM
A lot of people just hate the Clinton dynasty, much like the Bush dynasty now. They are toxic. One of my coworkers on FB is raging about people voting third party and its their fault that he is winning. Fuck that shit though. The margins are bigger than the bit that the Libertarians are taking.
11/8/2016 11:36:17 PM
Nyt is projecting mi, wi, and Mn going trump. That's brutal for Hillary. Looks like New Hampshire should hold for Hillary at least. At least clinton still has popular vote margin. [Edited on November 8, 2016 at 11:38 PM. Reason : ]
11/8/2016 11:37:54 PM
if clinton got every single libertarian vote in NC it wouldn't have been enough

Fox calling Iowa and Wisconsin for Trump
11/8/2016 11:38:04 PM
Libertarian candidates tend to take away from the Republican party anyway. Hard to rail against them. I know it has nothing to do with the presidency, but I can't believe that we're going to get 4 more years of McCrory. I was sure he'd get the boot.
11/8/2016 11:38:23 PM
Welp looks like I was wrong.I for one welcome my new overlord.
11/8/2016 11:39:00 PM

^^^^ still a very small chance for cooper, its technically possible for uncounted ballots in durham and pasquotank to swing things[Edited on November 8, 2016 at 11:41 PM. Reason : .]
11/8/2016 11:40:39 PM
Michigan doesn't matter much anymore if she's going to lose Wisconsin, which she will. This looks over unless she pulls off a miracle in Arizona.
11/8/2016 11:40:58 PM
Great job America. You all deserve the shitty country you asked for.
11/8/2016 11:41:01 PM
^^Yep I'm a pretty conservative dude, but I went pretty big on the L ticket this year and I did not vote for Trump or McCrory. HB2 was just ridiculous to me. Obviously most of the rest of the state didn't see it as a big deal. I figured he was toast because of that alone. That said, Cooper didn't make a compelling candidate either I didn't think. He was just the Democrat alternative. Looks like he didn't get quite enough people interested in him. Damn close though.
11/8/2016 11:41:45 PM
but you were the main one asking for it
11/8/2016 11:41:59 PM
Nikkei index in Japan down over 900 points, 5.35%.
11/8/2016 11:44:03 PM
I guess some people can just hope that Trump is really a Democrat in disguise and that he's so unpredictable and crazy that he infuriates both parties for the next 4 years.
11/8/2016 11:44:42 PM
AND YALL ARE STILL TALKING ABOUT PARTIES
11/8/2016 11:47:06 PM
So, before y'all keep calling the Trump voters racist, remember that these were many of the same people who voted for Obama. This wasn't about race.
11/8/2016 11:47:23 PM
um wat
11/8/2016 11:47:46 PM
Places who voted obama, voted trump. Rust belt. Trade. Bernie.
11/8/2016 11:49:42 PM
Eh looks like ignorance wins tonight, at least it's not Cruz.I honestly really feel bad for the factory workers who think Trump will bring their jobs back, and the people who are frustrated with Washington and think Trump will "drain the swamp" when the "swamp" is republican congress who Trump just became a rubber stamp for.
11/8/2016 11:50:37 PM
Clinton and McMullin effectively tied for 2nd at the moment in Utah. C'mon Evan, beat her!
11/8/2016 11:51:42 PM
So what's first for our new all repub govt? Repeal obamacare?

holy shit, Nate Silver's hair is worse than Trump's
11/8/2016 11:54:38 PM
11/8/2016 11:55:15 PM
Wow. Just wow.So if Trump was so convinced that the election was rigged, could Clinton come behind him and say it was rigged in his favor? I'm watching the coverage on ABC and I swear if I hear them say "non-college educated whites" or "uneducated whites" I'm going to throw the remote at the TV. I get it, you think everyone voting for him is a stupid knuckle dragger.
