Duke voted for Trump with his Gary Johnson vote.
11/14/2019 11:49:22 AM
Well no, that’s not how math works. You could view it as a half-vote for Hillary and a half-vote for Trump, I suppose.
11/14/2019 2:42:41 PM
^ trump voter
11/14/2019 2:44:48 PM
^^ That is how it works in a two party system. If there were more than two parties, then things would be different but that is not where we are.

If the libtards can't get Yang on the ballet, you can bet I'm voting for Trump. MAGA! I'll take 4 more years of this retarded child over any of the shit the dems are throwing against the wall (aside from Yang).
11/14/2019 5:47:28 PM
I put that in the Yang thread for you
11/14/2019 6:03:01 PM
Ok what is up with republicans liking Yang so much? Seems like the Republicans that would never vote dem, or that are unsatisfied with Trump but would still vote for Trump over almost any dem, just love Yang. Whats up with that?
11/14/2019 6:10:07 PM
yang is a right of center libertarian, it shouldn't be surprising that he appeals to ron paul or ross perot republicans since that's his platform[Edited on November 14, 2019 at 7:44 PM. Reason : Not left or right, forward, reeeeeeeeeeeee]
11/14/2019 7:43:50 PM
Ubi is the most socialist possible solution. The only reason he doesn’t get smeared with this lace label is the gop hasn’t put much towards it.He’s more of a libertarian leaning leftist if anything. He’s more of a populist than he markets himself as is his biggest flaw I think.
11/14/2019 10:43:04 PM
^some socialist solutions are effective. I'm always game for free cash. My biggest issue with his $1k Freedom Fries is it's not really enough to make a significant difference in society, but it's enough to cost a shit ton of money. It's definitely a flawed premise, but I truly believe he has America's best interest at heart more than anybody else in the race.
11/14/2019 11:24:12 PM
Wish they(powers that be) would do cash for clunkers again
11/14/2019 11:30:08 PM

11/14/2019 11:35:48 PM
Anybody who still wants to vote for Trump is evil and cruel to the core.Or, so fucking delusional that they can't tell reality from fiction, at all.

Progressives are racist against Asians, probably will ask Yang to produce a birth certificate[Edited on November 14, 2019 at 11:45 PM. Reason : Chinese spy]

I bet a lot of the republicans like him just so they can tell their friends/family(and themselves) that they are open minded independents

^Brett's got his back. I'm gonna lmao when there's nothing there, he just doesn't want people to see he's not as rich as he claims. Most of his motivation is childish and petty, but he gets credit for being some kind of criminal mastermind.
11/15/2019 8:28:57 AM
Uh the fact that he's not as rich as he claims is pretty big problem, given that he obtained loans fraudulently by overstating his income...
11/15/2019 12:33:32 PM
if he's claiming one thing for taxes, and another thing for investors, one of them is being defrauded (or, likely in his case, both)

It will be a nothing burger
11/15/2019 1:28:25 PM
So their logic is everyone who didn't vote for Hillary voted for Trump(which i don't agree with) but at the same time they aren't the least bit concerned about addressing the reasons why the overwhelming majority of the country "voted" for Trump.

Assuming there are 250 million eligible voters and Hillary got 66 million votes? That would mean 75% of the country did not vote for Hillary. What am I missing?
11/16/2019 5:16:38 PM
What part are you missing? The part where you claim not voting for Clinton is voting for Trump. I respect that you don't agree with it; I don't agree with it either. But if you don't agree with it, what compelled you to conclude, "the overwhelming majority of the country "voted" for Trump."?
11/16/2019 6:40:01 PM
His argument makes sense. The people cogent enough to vote for someone other than clinton or trump are just as guilty as those that don’t vote at all. Not that I agree with that, but his argument holds water[Edited on November 16, 2019 at 7:36 PM. Reason : If more people actually voted in 2016, Trump would not be president]
11/16/2019 7:34:21 PM
Its in quotation marks because the premise of the conclusion is that I'm using their logic. Let me break it down for you.1.Anyone who did not vote for Clinton, essentially 'voted for trump'. (opinion)2.The overwhelming majority of the country did not vote for Clinton (fact)3. The overwhelming majority of the country 'voted for trump' (logical conclusion)This is an opinion (1) that many people on here hold and you can see it in this very thread. (2) is non-debatable fact. Conclusion (3) is deduced if you hold opinion (1), and accept fact (2). What compelled me to point it out? I'm tired of everyone pushing this opinion (1)Hopefully, this logical exercise will show the people who hold opinion (1) to how ridiculous the implications of it are. Clearly, they haven't thought it through and are just frustrated that Trump won and maybe thinking about conclusion (3) will force them to drop opinion (1) or at the very least, keep 1-3 and consider the reasons why Hillary was so bad that 75% of the country would rather do what they consider 'voting for Trump'[Edited on November 16, 2019 at 7:44 PM. the people who voted for someone other than clinton are worse than people who didnt votesorry, your 3rd party vote just makes you an asshole
11/16/2019 9:20:16 PM
of course someone with your particular personality disorder would say that.
11/17/2019 9:24:55 AM
^^ It's not functionally different from not voting at all. I could just as easily sit at home and not vote, and maybe that would make you happier, but that's not what I'm interested in and not what is productive.Voting 3rd party is essentially not voting, but contributing a data point that (a) it wasn't out of apathy; your vote is very much in play, not just disinterest or a failure to turn out, and (b) indicates a direction in which candidates could have been nominated or campaigned towards in order to capture your vote.[Edited on November 17, 2019 at 11:14 AM. There is way more to vote on than just president. We have ballot initiatives in California like legalizing weed and property taxes. The local stuff probably effect your day to say much more than whatever turnip sits for Prez.In fact one of the first times I voted in 2000, in NC it had that bond initiative that ultimately did all the work over the last two decades at NCSU.
11/19/2019 2:10:46 PM

Like the guy posing for pictures with a corpse?Him: yep, you would have to be there in war to know what it's like. War makes you loopy in your brain. You're welcome to sign up...Me: well apparently the military courts, perhaps made up of people who have served, thought their crimes were bad enough to find them guilty. Through your reasoning, how does the president, who has never served, have a better grasp on the situation?Him: I'm not going to get into it...Me:. You already did...Him:.
