I got some Turtle Beach x41's for Christmas. I was discouraged at first b/c of all the clicking and popping, but after experimenting with some different positions (that's what she said) for the transmitter, I found a spot that works flawlessly. It's a world of difference as compared to just the TV speakers and I'm diggin' it.

Also been playing drop zone with some buddies. If you have a decent team you can just plain dominate fools. We won a couple last night 7500 to 480 and 7500 to 520.

My X41s have been money since day 1. I got them for xmas too. They will start to pop once the battery gets low etc...which is pretty often actually.

In other news...all of you people do know that if you go prone when you hear a bouncing betty go off it won't hit you right? I run into so many people that don't know that. Just thought I would post it to make sure.

^ Yeah,but often times i don't drop fast enough. I don't know how people go from running to dropping to prone so quickly. It feels like it takes forever for my character's fat ass to drop like a rock.

Finally completed all the challenges (minus headshots) for the PP90, the ACOG, HAMR, and Thermal were a pain in the ass because they don't really fit that gun but I finished them anyways. Now just need to get some headshots and get the gold camo.

Gold camo can come without completing the challenges. You just have to get it to level 31. The challenges help with XP obviously. I did them all on the ACR the first time but since I've foregone most of them in my prestiges and just gotten it through kills.

Each attachment is good for 20 kills worth of xp. So yeah, you don't really have to do them.

some are good for 60 kills total

a great way to boost weapon xp is to use the attachments perk to have 2 attachments, and use two at the same time, like rapid fire and red dot sight, then when you complete those two challenges, switch to something like extended mags and reflex sight

ya shotgun and noob tube are annoying for AR's. i completed challenges for scar-l (gold) and p990 i think my first prestige, finished the ump45 (gold) this time around and working on cm901. think ill unlock the acr my next prestige, not a huge fan of cm901 or scar.

i remember being in a lobby a month or two ago before the patch that removed you from putting XBox button symbols in your clan tag

some dude was screaming at the top of his lungs about how he was reporting me for glitching and how thousands of people had already gotten banned from XBox Live for having symbols in their clan tags

at the time mine was UMAD where the 'A' was the green A button symbol, so it was funny, since he was so mad

the constant changing of weapons makes you appear as a weaponless dead body by the other player.

pair that with assassin pro, which i believe takes your red name off the screen, and you can usually lay around with enemies none the wiser.

On a side note, did y'all know that you can knife your own trophy system and it counts toward the Sitrep Pro challenge (destroy 50 enemy equipment)?

Been doing pretty well lately (for me). Definitely found the class that works best for me, PP90M1 w/silencer and extended mags, sleight of hand pro, assassin pro, and stalker pro. I got tired of the PP90M1 for a while and tried a bunch of other weapons and just can't do near as well. I do love the striker on mission though.
