I have to say that Richardson has started to gain alot of my confidence back. For years I been wanting and stating that the Panthers need a TE threat to open up the field and help from keeping the the defensive front down.

Now keeping D-Will, and hopefully Smith stays we will have options on the offensive side of the ball that will slow down the Defense from reading/knowing our play calling system.

Yes, we still need to see them all in action and work well together, and Cam has a HUGE curve, but at least he is not going to be back there by himself with no threats or weapons. Wonder if there is any chance we can land a decent receiver before it all over.

^^Our success at this point depends solely on our QB play.

We've got good pieces all over the board -- good OL, good RBs, good LBs. We've got a defensive genius at coach, and our offfensive coordinator looks to be the real deal (really though, he couldn't be any worse than Davidson).

But if we don't at least get decent play at QB, we'll suck tremendously again. If we get even slightly above average QB play, we're a playoff team.
