pick 2:TO vs CLES. Moss @ CarRice @ STL
10/9/2009 2:30:24 PM
dacates: I would have said Bush....he's getting better. Mewelde splits with Mendenhall and Parker.
10/9/2009 2:32:58 PM
Have you watched Oakland? With all the offensive troubles they have had, I would not own any Raider right now...Bush is talented enough to be effective, IF he had a line to run behind and a QB to take some pressure off. Also, Fargas will get goal line carries, if there are any to go around.Parker is out again this week it looks like...and the Steelers will be up big and running a lot. Enough for Moore to get some garbage yards and maybe a score.[Edited on October 9, 2009 at 2:39 PM. Reason : ]

Heath Miller @ DETORVernon Davis v. ATL

Miller.again....pick 2:TO vs CLES. Moss @ CarRice @ STL
10/9/2009 4:57:01 PM
TO vs CLES. Moss @ Car
10/9/2009 5:02:15 PM
Pick one:Kevin Walter @ AriJosh Cribbs @ Buf (we get 1pt per 20 return yards so he's been putting up WR2/3 numbers all season)Pick one:Shaun Hill vs. Atl Hasselbeck vs. Jax Kyle Orton vs. NE (on WW)Matt Cassell vs. Dal (on WW)
10/9/2009 6:10:03 PM
Cassell

Eli Manning returned to practice and showed no ill effects of the injured heel that kept him out of practice for two days. Manning did the regular exercises with the team Friday, and at one point was leading sprints. He has been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis in his right heel. of connective tissue that runs along the bottom of the foot and inserts into the heel.Although Manning seemed to run a little gingerly, he did the regular stretching and squatting. When practice began, reserve David Carr took the first five snaps with the starting unit, but was quickly replaced by Manning, giving all indications that Manning would be ready to start Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders at Giants Stadium. Manning has made 82 consecutive starts.
10/9/2009 8:13:55 PM
Fucking hell my roster is injured to hell
10/9/2009 8:34:54 PM
Ben Roflcopter or Kurt Warner?
10/9/2009 9:05:31 PM
I would go with Warner, the Steelers game could be out of hand early and Mendenhall will be used a tonand since this didnt get fully answered before, I'll try again
10/9/2009 9:43:23 PM
larry johnson vs. DALorcedric benson vs. BAL
10/9/2009 9:54:33 PM
Gotta go with Ced BensonI am in deep shit with my quarterback situation. Who the heck should I start this week?Hasselbeck vs JacksonvilleKyle Orton vs New EnglandShaun Hill vs Atlanta
10/9/2009 11:18:19 PM
^^^Cribbs, merely for return yards and some ground work.I think you have to go with Hasselbeck if he is really back to work...he hwas some good recievers and LOVESSS his tight end. 49ers are gonna put up points but I think ATLs D is legit.^^thats a toss up, Johnson is sucking it up lately, but its a defense taht has been ran on for sureBaltimore is LEGIT and no team has had a good running game against them yet but Benson is a viable option for passes. toss up^again if Hassel is back...play him, if not, go with Hill, Orton still has an injured hand and tends to lack the accuracy he needs.now for meJustin Gage or Braylon Edwards pick oneLeSean McCoy, Jerome Harrison, Jon Stewart or Cadillac williams...pick 2
10/9/2009 11:34:56 PM
yea it's hard because benson did well against the steelers
10/10/2009 2:33:10 AM
Another vote for Benson.^^I'd go with EdwardsPick 3:Michael Turner @ SFRashard Mendenhall @ DetKnowshon Moreno vs NEMarion Barber @KCHaving a really hard time deciding on that one. I'm really leaning towards benching Michael Turner, which seems a little ridiculous.
10/10/2009 2:48:07 AM
^Turner, Mendenhall, and Barber.
10/10/2009 2:57:21 AM
Forgot to mention that the scoring for that^^ league is ridiculous: 2 pts. per rush.^Thats the logical choice, but I kind of want to play Moreno because1. He's starting2. They're gonna want to run the ball to keep it from Brady.3. The ridiculous scoring.
10/10/2009 3:37:12 AM
ok, even though someone is going to flame for asking 'stupid' questions, both are considered no 1 fantasy options...FOr week 5 star big ben or Schaub?
10/10/2009 8:25:26 AM
SchaubI think in all likelihood they come out with similar lines. But I think Schaub has more upside against the cards in what should be a high scoring shootout.[Edited on October 10, 2009 at 8:37 AM. Reason : a]
10/10/2009 8:36:44 AM
So my D is on bye, I need to pick one up for this week.Pats (vs denver)Panthers (vs skins)or Bills (vs browns)?
10/10/2009 10:22:37 AM
1) Coffee or Donald Brown?2) Addai or Fred Jackson? Addai is on the injury report...i hate getting burned by Addai[Edited on October 10, 2009 at 10:37 AM. Reason : ^ i'd play Car, actually, Campbell is a turnover machine.]
10/10/2009 10:35:59 AM
goddammit[Edited on October 10, 2009 at 10:37 AM. Reason : .]
10/10/2009 10:36:49 AM
^^ True, but Carolina has all of 13 points this season. And I think Cambell's INT's last week might just be an anomaly, he's normally very careful with the ball.
10/10/2009 10:49:58 AM
^^^^ Bills^^^ Coffee, Jackson
10/10/2009 11:38:02 AM
i'd go with jackson as well^^how about this: a guy just offered me roddy white for ricky williams in a non-ppr leaguewould you guys take it? i'm tempted. i think white will eventually come around. or i was thinking about trying to counter with fred jackson for whiteany suggestions?
10/10/2009 11:47:19 AM
So is Westbrook going to come back against the Bucs or should I keep playing Thomas Jones against the dolphins?
10/10/2009 12:08:36 PM
Need some defense advice:Atlanta @ SFDenver vs. NE
10/10/2009 1:37:24 PM
i'd go atlanta. any opinions about that trade offer??roddy white for ricky williams in a non-ppr league? thinking about doing it but just wanted some other opions. helppp
10/10/2009 3:44:00 PM
I would do it. And I would rather have Fred Jackson then Ricky Williams.
10/10/2009 3:59:33 PM
Addai vs Tennessee or Portis vs Carolina? Lynch vs Cleveland is also an option
10/10/2009 4:17:06 PM
Portis or Lynch
10/10/2009 4:26:12 PM
^Carolina's D isn't playing well and with our woes at DT it doesn't look to get much better. I'd go Portis until Lynch has proven to get a good workload.
10/10/2009 5:53:38 PM
So, Steve Smith (NYG) or TJ Housh?I'm thinking Housh because of Asomugha.
10/10/2009 9:31:53 PM
^Go with Housh...should be a shootout in Seattle and the Giants should be able to win with the running game.
10/10/2009 9:53:27 PM
how about this oneSteve Smith (nyg) vs. Atl or Pierre Garcon @ Tenn?
10/11/2009 8:03:48 AM
tenn's secondary cannot stop anyone at all, where as oakland quietly has a pretty good secondary... also, relating to the rest of my post, i think the giants are just going to run all day long.i'd lean towards garconhave brees on a bye, and e. manning as a backup.. picked up m. hasselbeck on monday in case manning can't go.what say you, hasselbeck (v. jax) or manning (v. oak)i kinda feel like the giants are just going to run the ball all day and manning will be less than stellar, but starting someone off an injury i'm not too keen on.[Edited on October 11, 2009 at 8:25 AM. 10/11/2009 8:25:16 AM
garcon- with yet another receiver back in the giants loop, it is just luck of the draw as to who eli will be throwing took mine- peyton against the titans or favre, who is a little banged up, but he has proven to be good as long as it wasn't his arm when hurt, against st louisalsobernard berrian vs patrick crayton
10/11/2009 8:26:32 AM
^ Peyton and Crayton (Williams is out for DAL so he is the #1 today).
10/11/2009 8:51:10 AM
and crayton does some return work too... i was leaning towards him- it's just that st louis is soooo bad...which is why i'm thinking maybe favre over peyton- that one I'm reeeeaaally on the fence- I mean, I think they will both have good games, but I'm going against the number 1 team in the league who has a powerhouse, so I need every little point i can get
10/11/2009 9:02:33 AM
Favre or Garrard or Ryanleaning towards my ECU boy here
10/11/2009 9:43:16 AM
^ either Favre or Garrard.... They are both playing weak defenses... I'd probably go with Favre since he has been throwing more TD passes.i'm second guessing myself... Would you pick these WRs to start (3):Mark Clayton - CinAntonio Bryant - @ PhiSteve Breaston - HouBraylon Edwards - @ MiaMike Wallace - @ Det[Edited on October 11, 2009 at 10:07 AM. Reason : .]
10/11/2009 10:05:50 AM
^Worst recieving corp I've ever seen. It's probably not going to matter who you pick with those guys, but I'd take a shot on Braylon Edwards this week with that lineup. Cotchery might not play...Also gamble on Antonio Bryant...if he plays.Ok, pick 3:Mike Turner @SFGlen Coffee vs. ATLRay Rice vs. CinAhmad Bradshaw vs. OAKI have the first 3 slotted to start, but believe the Giants will run all day on Oakland, so I want to start Bradshaw kinda.[Edited on October 11, 2009 at 10:18 AM. yesthe only one I may swap would be breaston for Braylon...Im a Cards fan and know we are struggling right now, I just dont like Breaston...Fitz will have a big day which may help him though.and PS, you guys are terrible at this threadANSWER FIRST, THEN ASKso again...Jon Stewart, Jerome Harrison, Carnell Williams, LeSean McCoy, Jamal Lewis PICK 2Jacksonville or Cincy [Edited on October 11, 2009 at 10:17 AM. people that ask for advice may not be the best givers of advice
10/11/2009 10:18:39 AM
^^ and why can't you take your own advice?Jerome Harrison vs. Jamal Lewis - it looks like Lewis plays, which IMO makes both of these not starters. But you're desperate and have shitty RBs, so watch the inactives. I'd go with Carnell Williams and one of the others, which are all bad plays. And I'd play neither Jax or Cincy....I'd pick someone else off of waiver....and why do you have 2 defenses anyways? If I had to pick, I'd pick Jax. The Ravens offense is smoking right now.
