10/16/2009 4:06:40 PM
they still hirin guides? is there a link on the website to apply?
10/16/2009 4:26:57 PM
It was b2b for me pretty much all weekend. Made an extra $30 just watching football and answering questions.^ they are not currently accepting new guides.
11/9/2009 11:44:30 AM
They must have gotten more strict on their quality ratings or whatever. I got a zero because some person doesn't realize that the quadratic equation is a mathematical solution and a 70% because I didn't put what dates the Batman movies were released. Fuckers.
11/9/2009 3:42:08 PM
I haven't done this in months. I should get my 50 bucks out of there before they go out of business or change their payout policy
11/9/2009 3:55:02 PM
I don't go into work until 4PM today, so I am going to ChaCha all morning. Almost b2b right now.
12/2/2009 9:40:28 AM
How do I get my money out of here? There isn't a pay me now button anymore or at least I can't see it!
12/10/2009 1:33:52 PM
They are hiring guides.Use Jrb599@gmail.com as a referral.https://guideregistration.chacha.com/[Edited on December 29, 2009 at 9:40 AM. Reason : https://guideregistration.chacha.com/]

How do I get my money out of here?
12/31/2009 1:44:23 AM
this thread reminded me that i have money there
12/31/2009 5:20:42 AM
Anyone doing this Guide Point stuff?
12/31/2009 9:51:34 AM
How much total has everyone made? ~$300 for me.
1/1/2010 10:46:44 AM
Here is my statement for my 2009 ChaCha earnings:Oh, and it appears they are hiring guides again. PM me for info.
1/18/2010 9:59:52 AM
How many hours would you guess you worked to make that thousandjust wondering
1/18/2010 11:16:19 AM
The majority of that came when I was unemployed for a little over 2 months, so I was doing ChaCha pretty much full-time.
1/18/2010 12:05:47 PM
Here's what my math guesses: We'll call the average payout per question 15 cents. To make a thousand dollars would take 6667 questions. I'll be extremely conservative and say on average it takes 60 seconds to obtain the answer to a question and properly format the response. With all of those assumptions, it would take you 111.12 hours to make a thousand dollars. Granted, these hours could be spent while doing other things or in the evening and such. Comparably, a minimum wage job would take you 137.93 hours to make a thousand dollars. Before taxes, just like with ChaCha.[Edited on January 18, 2010 at 12:12 PM. Reason : too slow.]
1/18/2010 12:11:33 PM
Your math is a little off, only because on average the per-question pay out is probably more like .11 or .12, depending on your specialties. And I would say the average time it takes to answer a question is probably 2 minutes, not 60 seconds.[Edited on January 18, 2010 at 12:31 PM. Reason : a]
1/18/2010 12:19:50 PM
Then that's more like 300 hours.
1/18/2010 12:52:50 PM
Yeah, I figure putting in a full day at it, I could probably bring in about $40-$50 a day. Just doing it on the side and in the evening I could easily hit $20 a day. And even at just doing $20 a day, you could hit $1000 in less than 2 months.
1/18/2010 12:56:15 PM
how difficult is this "final test"
1/18/2010 1:49:51 PM
It's exactly how it will be in the real guide environment. As long as you follow the rules, it's not that hard. Just remember to use proper spelling and punctuation, and end every answer with ChaCha, spelled EXACTLY like that.
1/18/2010 1:55:28 PM
Haha I saw on a previous question/answer "What is Mr. T's real name?"The guide answered with the real name, then said "I pity the fool that doesn't use ChaCha!"I lolled.
1/19/2010 11:35:29 AM
^ yeah, that is awesome. They are still hiring btw, so PM me for details.
1/22/2010 9:08:18 AM
For whoever else was trying to get paid....go to:My account (top left corner)New tab- DashboardThen there should be a thing where you can set up your bank accounthttp://underground.chacha.com/admin/earnings/pmn_registration/514068also...when yall sent in the stuff for your bank card you only HAVE to send in your signature...it also says you should send a copy of your license and social security card.what all did yall send? [Edited on January 22, 2010 at 10:52 PM. Reason : *]
1/22/2010 10:44:13 PM
It's been a while ago, but I remember faxing a copy of my driver's license, but i don't remember having to do my social security card. From what I remember, the only reason you need to fax your license is to verify that you actually live at the address they are mailing the card to.
1/23/2010 3:33:55 PM
DJ you sound like you put a lot of time into this. But you only made less than $1000 last year. Doesn't sound worth it.Is a expeditor the same as a guide?
1/23/2010 9:43:02 PM
Is this something I can login to? Or do I have to download the software on my computer?
1/23/2010 9:49:46 PM
You use Firefox and you have to install the ChaCha toolbar, but that's it. You log into the chacha website and work from there.

what up dje. long time. i checked out the price guide recently, although i haven't done chacha in months... nothing is .20 or .25 anymore. looks like the prices all came down a lot.but it got me through when i was really broke. i made about $600 in 4 months. its better than nothing...
2/3/2010 8:05:02 PM
Still hiring guides.use Jrb599@gmail.com as a reference.https://guideregistration.chacha.com/
4/24/2010 8:55:05 AM
^Still recommend it.]
6/5/2010 11:29:26 AM
Yeah, I haven't done it in months either now that I have a good paying job. But I agree, it got me through some tough times.I am actually pretty pissed at ChaCha right now as a user. If you try to ask them a question that is in any way difficult to answer, you get the "you are temporarily out of questions" response. I assume that is what happens now when a guide is lazy and hits the "Customer Clarify" button instead of taking the time to find an answer.
6/5/2010 11:53:52 AM
anyone doing this?
12/5/2010 1:07:18 PM
Haven't done it in months. The last time I did it I just wanted to get $2 to load on my card so I could use that card to set up an account. I like using that card when companies require a card on file because if they ever tried to bill it for anything there will be nothing there.
12/9/2010 10:24:19 AM
Ha, I used this other day cause I couldn't get my internet to load. Terrible service. Trying to automate it as much as possible.
