Probably, but I would bet that they'll get bitchslapped with a countersuit.

It's sad that he has to go through all of this when there's nothing legit about any of it.

Even if he did do it, they had nothing on him and that's a shame.

If he doesn't walk, he's fucked.

Even if he does walk, he's still fucked. He owes his defense attorneys. He owes whatever debts Nancy ran up on joint accounts. He's not very employable, certainly not at jobs comparable to what he had before.

I'm sure he'd rather walk, but he's screwed either way.

he's not fucked if he walks

he'll just have to redefine success

and it seems like he was looking for a major change of scenery anyway considering he killed his fucking wife

no, he's not fucked if he walks

he's still one of the few in the world who has the subject matter expertise in his field

yes, he'll have to pay out of the ass to reconcile all of the debt, but he certainly is not fucked. and this time he wont have a woman spending him into the grave while he tries to dig his way out.

CCIE Voice, the dude shouldn't have any problems being employed with that, contracting alone would give him six figures

And I'm not sure what kind of debt he has left. I think he declared bankruptcy after being put in jail, and his attorneys are appointed. He's been out of the CCIE field too long though (2.5 years) to jump right back into it, even if he could find a job.

I didn't realize he had declared bankruptcy or had appointed attorneys.

So:

Unless he has some really unique experience/knowledge, I still think he'll have a hard time finding employment. So, what have you been doing for the past three years?

In any case, 'fucked' is a strong word for not spending the rest of your life in jail.

^ yep, I read that somewhere.

I think he'll still be employable. If Cisco fired him b/c of this, he might even get a settlement from them b/c of that.

I was talking to a friend of mine that works for Cisco. She said that most likely he's been suspended without pay until the end of the case. If he's found guilty, he'll be let go. If he's innocent, he can come back.

She said that'd be unlikely since he technically hasn't been working this entire time. I wonder if they would have let him remote access in if he could use the internet in jail

I believe that he "voluntarily" resigned after his arrest. His work visa lapsed while in jail, and he will be returning to Canada if he walks away from this. No grand "court house exit" for him.

Haven't the other "Cary killins" been the wives of Canadian Engineers? I know Ian Campbell was. Can't remember if Patel was or not.

Nancy told me she was painting a room for a friend. So I bought a drop cloth. It was never opened though. I did get tired of hearing about her marital problems. That bitch ran her goddamn mouth at anyone with ears.

But Cary police detectives had been to the crime scene and visited the Cooper house before Hazelnet spotted the straw, so it's likely the defense will argue the police tracked it into the home themselves."

^Amen. And if I recall, there are no photos of that "hay" and they didn't collect it... and the guy who saw the "hay" that supposedly matched the crime scene, DIDN'T EVEN GO TO THE CRIME SCENE. He sat in the car at the end of the street...

AND when he was shown photos later, he couldn't see the hay in the photos.

so she spent all of the money and she couldn't clean?

if he gets out of this with her gone and only two years of his life in prison, then I think he ends up in the green, long term. from what it seems his entire life was a prison so these two years probably weren't much different.

Cummings doing the questioning for the prosecution today.

Means it is going to take forever.

^ Cummings can't pronounce "Cooper" correct. He says "Cupper".
