haha, just traded welker & the packers D for p-riv (guy had also had romo), now romo is injured, think i can trade p-riv back to him for more than i sent to him?

As long as Jamal Lewis doesn't beat Plax by about 18 points, I should win my money league this weekIn my other league I need about 19 points from Braylon to win which doesn't look too good, but it is a PPR league at least...zero points from Bobby Engram hurt yesterday, as did shitty performances by Fred Taylor and Willis McGahee...luckily Drew Brees and Thomas Jones kept me in it]
10/13/2008 4:18:42 PM
i have a lot of questions this coming week because of byes for arizona and philly (mcnabb, boldin, fitzgerald).1. pick three WRs (first three listed are my current selections)muhsin muhammadmarques colston (Q)eddie royal (Q)roy williams2. pick two RBs (first two are current)ryan grant (vs. IND is gold)matt forte (vs. MIN is tough)steven jackson (vs. DAL)laurence maroney (vs. DEN is gold, but will he be healthy?)losing my top two WRs could hand me my first loss...
10/13/2008 4:21:00 PM
FELIX JONES OUT AT LEAST 2 WEEKS
10/13/2008 5:35:30 PM
Thats my quarterback...and my backup running back
10/13/2008 5:37:00 PM

10/13/2008 5:48:15 PM

10/13/2008 9:07:34 PM
^ Not so fast Nate, basically tied with him still
10/13/2008 10:28:39 PM
Ok, waiver pickups for this week:Brad JohnsonRhodesMatt Ryan (<--- Delhomme is my QB. Is this worth a waiver? They are on bye)Who else are you looking at?[Edited on October 13, 2008 at 10:59 PM. Reason : .]
10/13/2008 10:34:35 PM
hell yeah that 2 point conversion by braylon gives me a 0.42 point lead
10/13/2008 11:19:36 PM
Thanks to that Brandon (I barely do enough to help you win) Jacobs performance I won this weeks matchup by 1 pt. Little did I know that Braylon Edwards would finally decide to EXPLODE after a disappointing season thus far. He was on my bench and I was kicking myself until Jacobs put me ahead.
10/13/2008 11:53:04 PM
lol i was playing against burress in one of my leagues and ended up losing by .5how shitty is that? losing by less than a point.
10/14/2008 2:01:15 AM
^not quite as good as winning by less than a half a point like i did tonight, thanks to my 2nd round pick braylon edwards finally showing up

I'd stick with what you have. I'd keep an eye on the injury reports this week for colston though. It almost sounds like they tried to bring him back too early last week in practice.
10/14/2008 8:26:37 AM
Yeah I'm hesitant about Colston now. I really wanted him back this weekend so he could get a couple of snaps in, get back in the game. I'm not sure I want him starting on my roster if its his very first game back. We'll see.
10/14/2008 9:01:08 AM
10/14/2008 11:13:31 AM
is it worth hanging onto Mewelde Moore (plays @ Cin)? I might drop him and pick up Ahman Green (plays Det)
10/14/2008 11:55:10 AM
Should I trade braylon edwards and MDJ for Fitzgerald and Steven Jackson?
10/14/2008 12:37:08 PM
Not unless you have another reliable back
10/14/2008 1:10:02 PM
i have addai, graham, and julius jones
10/14/2008 1:21:31 PM
Well, I was offered Romo last week, took the trade, but everyone in the league rejected it. So, I go and pick up David Garrard and Vincent Jackson (who someone released earlier in the week) off waiver wires. Thanks to them, and my opponents in the league, I managed to win by 16. So, thank you other fantasy owners in my league.
10/14/2008 1:35:51 PM
Need a WR for this week so who should I use my waiver on ?Hester, Joey Galloway (due back this week, plus he's playing his old team Seattle in a primetime game), or some other darkhorse on the WW ?Leaning Galloway, since him and Garcia always seem to do well together
10/14/2008 3:32:18 PM
early reports say Roy Williams has been traded to Cowgirls....if true his value goes up (long term anyway) and the value of Dallas pass catchers not named witten or owens sinks like a rock.[Edited on October 14, 2008 at 4:29 PM. Reason : .]
10/14/2008 4:24:20 PM
yeah bye bye crayton and austinThis probably boost Calvin Johnsons value since he is now the unquestioned main man in Detroit
10/14/2008 4:26:04 PM
its looking like Shaun "Light in the Loafers" Alexander is gonna sign with the Redskins to back up Portis while Betts is out
10/14/2008 4:48:17 PM
Roy Williams stock has sky-rocketed.Calvin Johnson's stock plummets (he'll get triple-teamed without Roy or Kitna)and Shaun Alexander still sucks.
10/14/2008 4:59:00 PM
maybe Alexander will have a resurgence in Washington...he won't have any pressure to contribute as the #1 guy...plus while he might still suck, he was one of the best RBs in the NFL just a few years ago, anything can happen

10/14/2008 6:53:20 PM
Thanks, any reasoning behind that or just a hunch?
10/14/2008 6:54:27 PM
Indy's run defense is horrible although Detroit's defense is also bad
10/14/2008 6:55:49 PM
^^ Sorry dude, I got a little carried away. And yes, I did see Braylon play considering he's on my fantasy team. I was expecting the breakout game, although admittedly it was just a hunch.I would start Slaton. After all, he's playing the Lions who are terrible against the run. The Colts are just bad against the run, not terrible.
10/14/2008 6:56:29 PM
Ok, waiver pickups for this week. How would you rank these?RhodesMatt RyanJeff GarciaBrad JohnsonDelhomme is my QB, Chris Johnson and Pittman are my #2 and #3 backs.
10/14/2008 7:57:32 PM
10/14/2008 8:17:13 PM
I just traded Warner and Edge James for S. Jackson. Good/Bad?Cutler is my starting QB, and im planning to snag Cassel for Bye week (plays Det).
10/14/2008 10:34:50 PM
let's put it this way, that was so bad I am wondering whether you are trying to troll me or not. At most you should have traded edge and s-jackson straight up. To give up a top 5 fantasy QB with it? lolCan you join my league please?
10/15/2008 8:36:27 AM
^ Well Warner and Edge have been riding my bench all season, and I think Jackson is a potential keeper for next year.
10/15/2008 9:14:48 AM
Just because someone is on your bench doesn't mean you should give them up for the first trade. You could have gotten more value out of Warner probably.
10/15/2008 9:26:57 AM
^^ you could have gotten more for him is what he's saying, used or not[Edited on October 15, 2008 at 9:30 AM. Reason : ^yep]

OK, need help with a trade choice, but first, here's the situation: I'm off to a good start and am tied for the lead in record, but awful in points. When I look at my team I want to cry, and desperately need to make a change. Also, TE's get a giant bump in this league, making the high end ones the most valuable. Basically, Witten and Gates will most likely finish the season as the 2 highest scoring players. Also, we have a starting spot for RB/WR. Anways here's my team:QB: RoethlisbergerRB (start 2): Adrian Peterson, Edge, Willis McGahee, LeRon McLainWR (start 2): Torry Holt, Joey Galloway, Kevin Walter, Bobby Wade, Reggie BrownTE: Kellen WinslowSo here are the 2 trades that have been presented to me:McNabb, Santana Moss, Roy Williams, and Laurence Maroney (158 fantasy points total)forPeterson, Roethlisberger, Holt, and McGahee (129 fantasy points)orJason Campbell, Witten, and Bowe (159 fantasy points)forPeterson, Winslow, and Roethlisberger (128 fantasy points)Obviously getting 2 awesome players in the first trade is great, and I definitely need the WR help, but the other 2 are basically worse than I have, plus I'm giving up more. The second trade gives me what will probably be the best player overall, and a bit of help at WR...but might not be the boost I need.
10/15/2008 10:37:44 AM
are you saying that Witten will be the best player overall?I wouldnt make either of those trades...the first one looks better than the second, but that would leave you with Edge, Maroney and McLain as your RBs, which is pretty terrible
10/15/2008 10:42:01 AM
If Witten performs like he has and should, he will be the best player in the league overrall
10/15/2008 10:46:18 AM
I can't give you advice on fucking weird ass scoring leagues. And to the guy asking Slaton or Ryan Grant, you play Slaton vs. Detroit. They have given up over 200 yards/game on the ground or something ridiculous like that, and slaton is no slouch. You play anyone against Detroit.
10/15/2008 11:10:25 AM
curious as to how the scoring would have to be set up to enable TEs to be the top scorers in the league
