have seen multiple people reply to that same tweet asking for numbers to back that up
5/31/2022 9:59:53 PM
^^fuck those voters
5/31/2022 10:31:26 PM
Yea the point is his premise is flawed regardless of whether the "voters" are made up
5/31/2022 11:04:32 PM
^Source of quote or at least who said it, please? I don't want to have to Google every random thing you post in a quote box. Especially on a phone. Thanks!
6/1/2022 9:48:15 AM
The source is irrelevant (at least for as far as I cared) its just some guys twitter opinion, just got more attention than other opinionsYou halfway asked nice I guesshttps://twitter.com/IsaacDovere/status/1531430356175421441[Edited on June 1, 2022 at 11:06 AM. Reason : Only for you though]
6/1/2022 10:59:56 AM
Thanks. I didn't know it was even from Twitter. I didn't know if it was a government official, a political pundit, a talking head on a news network, or just some random guy on Twitter. The statement can stand on its own, but if it's a direct quote, the source is important for context. Thanks for understanding!
6/1/2022 11:13:06 AM
The voters absolutely exist. Our resident tankie was one, he wanted Trump to win because of it.If you don't think there is a subset of lazy/selfish voters out there, you're insane.
6/1/2022 11:13:57 AM
^^true from my post alone but TGL gave you a big clue
6/1/2022 2:38:26 PM
I was so flustered by not knowing the source that I glossed right over TGL's reply. Anyway, thanks!

Decent attempt last night in the primetime address to try to spur some (any) Congressional action on gun control. Not holding my breath, but we'll see.
6/3/2022 10:46:18 AM
The amount of bad faith arguments associated with “not absolute” is amazing
6/3/2022 10:53:08 AM
Yeah, I thought his speech was pretty good. I like that he started the whole thing with something like "Look, I want to make this very clear: This isn't about taking people's guns away". Hopefully something will change this time, but I doubt it.
6/3/2022 11:02:57 AM
That's such an insane leap of logic, I don't know how people continue to try to use that as a serious point of debate. Adding a few more restrictions to who can purchase a semi-automatic assault rifle at what age is a pretty far cry from the Feds showing up at your door and saying surrender all your guns or to removing the Second Amendment. It's an insane argument for insane (or stupid) people. Judge by who uses it.

^^unfortunately, it's a common point of debate from gun-nuts, and it's permeated lots of dumb conservatives who have no experience with guns. My dad grew-up in the country, and guns were a normal thing. He was in the military, and had a small collection of guns. As a child and teenager, my mother would not allow my dad to take me out shooting, or even see his guns. But now she's posting all kinds of pro-gun memes on FB, most recently "I saw a movie where only the police and military had guns. It was called SCHINDLER'S LIST!"
6/3/2022 12:29:20 PM
Sorry for your loss, Bullet.
6/3/2022 1:29:36 PM
I feel like there’s been a change in tone recently But he’s finally speaking clearly on guns. Wants to ban assault weapons or raise age to 21And wants to undo the special provision for gun manufacturers where they can’t be sued for malfeasance related to mass shootings
6/3/2022 6:23:14 PM
Bringing down the costs of solar panels from 24k to 18k? Certainly credible.
6/7/2022 11:38:41 AM
How so?
6/7/2022 12:16:42 PM
You really just gonna collapse off your bike like a bag of potatoes in front of the entire god damn free world? It’s impossible to defend Biden’s age.
6/18/2022 11:52:26 AM
Ever ridden a bicycle where you clip in to the pedals (confusingly called clipless pedals)? I fell over multiple times in my 20s. It's very easy to do, especially if your mind is focused elsewhere.I didn't see anyone approaching 80 in that compilation. At least Trump would never fall off a bicycle. He'd just walk feebly down a slightly sloped ramp.I'm not really trying to defend Biden's age. Just people who fall off bicycles. And to inform those who don't know about clipless pedals.]
6/18/2022 12:44:14 PM
So based on the facts so far, as a cyclist, I cannot conclude that this is in fact
6/18/2022 1:16:58 PM
beat me to it
6/18/2022 1:39:47 PM
Called it:https://road.cc/content/news/joe-biden-falls-bike-293707Except they were cages instead of clipless pedals so that you can wear regular shoes. Same problem, same result.Excellent commentary and video analysis here:https://twitter.com/LanterneRougeYT/status/1538191921516097537Also,
6/18/2022 4:03:24 PM
Ok, the caged pedals is legit, the video in that Twitter link is solid. But it doesn’t matter, the optics matter. The media has thrown all kinds of ability accusations at you. When someone is 79, I think they are legitimate questions to ask (the obviously fabricated shit right wing media invents excluded). This is fumbling the ball in your own red zone, the other team IS GOING to score.
6/19/2022 7:02:18 AM
Yes, that's true. But did they really need more reasons?Do you think there are many fence sitters out there who are going to be like, "Well, he had my support until he was out for a cycling workout and fell over on his bike, and then got up in seconds, gave an interview, and then got back on his bike and rode away. This guy is just too frail."How many people bumping 80 even ride a bike or do any exercise? You don't put yourself out there for physical gaffes and injuries when you don't do anything.Sorry, but I'm not willing to throw out critical thinking skills just because opposition is.I'm not fundamentally disagreeing with you.
6/19/2022 10:07:14 AM
tHe OpTiCs would only be bad if it was an “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” situation
6/19/2022 11:17:15 AM
Now you're just being too reasonable.
6/19/2022 11:28:35 AM
I'm not a cyclist, so I have to ask, why the cages in the first place? Why not just ride a bike with regular-person pedals? I get that you get more efficiency from them, but when you're the president and you're pushing 80, is efficiency really something you need?
6/20/2022 2:10:36 PM
It's a more comfortable and connected way to ride, but I agree -- I probably wouldn't do it at 80 in sneakers.
6/20/2022 2:57:53 PM
is he good at anything?
6/20/2022 3:13:23 PM
6/20/2022 3:45:31 PM
Gloves are pretty helpful for not skinning up your hands when you fall down and damping out vibrations on longer rides. Bar end mirrors are a helpful way to avoid getting run over and to see what's coming up behind you without turning your head and unintentionally shifting your line. If you've only ever tooled around a couple miles in the neighborhood, you really don't know what you're talking about, TBH.
6/20/2022 4:39:22 PM
He’s riding his cruiser on a beach town greenway in jorts, reminds me of the 40-year old Virgin’s bike.Put the man in a beach chair near the surf drinking something out of a solo cup, try a few casts off the local fishing pier and talk bait with the other anglers, or, peak Biden charisma, let him grab an ice cream cone on the boardwalk and back slap the other patrons. Instead he’s wiping out on the greenway, Cmon man!!!!
6/20/2022 6:22:26 PM
But maybe that's what he wants to do (minus the wiping out).

But what about Hunter's laptop?
6/29/2022 7:29:37 AM
^actually, would anybody care to briefly tell me the conspiracy about that? Were there documents showing shady business deals or child porn on it? (i forgot)

You will see next year.

supports changing the filibuster rules to codify Roe v. Wade extremely credible
6/30/2022 10:20:47 AM
Going into a Republican wipeout that definitely sounds like a tool we should give them.
6/30/2022 10:27:06 AM
Please. The Republicans will change the filibuster rules the very second it is advantageous to them. If they're doomed anyway, let's kill them now so we can reap some of the benefits.Who knows, maybe if this congress actually accomplishes some things, the wipeout won't happen.
6/30/2022 11:14:49 AM
let me introduce you to our president and congress.
6/30/2022 2:28:25 PM
Removing the filibuster would be playing right into republican hands, just like changing the rules to eliminate filibustering of judges and cabinet members are confirmed did. This led Mitch to doing it for the Supreme Court nominees citing precedent. We've seen where that landed us. If we're going to let someone pull back the filibuster, it should be republicans. Force them to justify it. They also have no legislative agenda. See the 4 years under trump where they provided no actual legislation other than the tax cut and where they had no 2020 platform. At most, we take it back to a talking filibuster. But eliminating it is sure to fucking fail.
