watch it again, that 3 wasn't very contested. the guy on D pulled the whole playground run and pretend to tackle defensive strategy. There was no hand up. Also, he didn't really draw the other foul, he just got fouled. It's hard to draw a foul on a jumpshot unless you get the guy in the air and jump into him via ray allen.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the kid isn't crazy good, just saying that the win was more the other teams fault.

I also saw the nice block on the other end.

while the other team played like a bunch of boneheads, Purvis made all his shots and won the game for his team. that's a trait you might have in one or two players on a team, and yet another reason i'm looking forward to watching him play next season.

I know that I sung his praises a few pages back, but Gathers had been slipping down the recruiting rankings these past few weeks. He apparently got dominated by 2013 recruit Kris Jenkins, who has a similar build. It didn't bode well for his prospects of excelling at the college level, where everyone us bigger and stronger.

I'll be very happy if we get Jefferson or Young. Bojanglesky? Not so much.

I'm totally happy with the 3-man class we have now. But we need to build some big-man depth. If we miss out on jefferson and young, and we have to resort to an athletic 7'2" project, then so be it. We'll hopefully get a stud or two next year.

PackPride says the word is that all three of our recruits made the McDAA team. I know it doesn't make the guys any better...but the positive press behind that would be awesome.

we had 3 together in 83. whitt, lowe, and myers.

if all 3 of our 2012 guys make it and leslie sticks around, we'd have 4. if amile jefferson also makes it and also commits to state, that'd be 5 on one roster. that would be pretty awesome. regardless, i'd be thrilled to see lewis, purvis, and warren all make it.

lmao. it would just be an unprecedented number for us to have on one team. i was just marveling at that. i think we have 13 total McD AA's that we've landed ever. so taking that number to 17 with one class, and having almost one third of the McD AA's we've ever landed on one team together... it'd be kinda nuts.
