DivaBaby19 maybe you can help me out with a fashion question of mine. My sister just bought the material to make my dress for her summer wedding (I'm the maid of honor). Do you know of a good place that I could get the dress made?I don't have any clue about this stuff. The material is seersucker of all things... I didn't see that one coming... but it should be fairly easy to work with.

since nobody reads the last postif someone comes up with an extra floral bag/scarf from the jason wu collection, yeah, i'd compensate you for it...

I went by the target here in Atlanta this morning at about 10:00, and there was next to nothing left. It didn't look like they had more than 2 racks of clothes to start with though. No bags, no accessories at all.
2/5/2012 12:46:39 PM
thegooddoctor let me get back to you on thatyou should check out http://www.southernfrock.com its my friend Emily and she has great Seersucker dresses Maybe you can just buy one of those and flub it hahahaI'm off to target to meet with CasstheSass and maybe they'll have some shit there!
2/5/2012 12:58:10 PM
D'oh. I forgot about shopping online.Still had a few things at the 3 target stores I went to before lunch. Nothing I wanted though. Did manage to score one of the bags (which actually feels quite nice). Saw the blue trench at one store, didn't really like the feel of it.Oh well. I missed out on the dresses
2/5/2012 3:26:16 PM
Went to Crossroads and North Hills...they had the same thingsBUT I saw this shirt in the North Hills store (only in a medium) and I'm tempted to add it to my order...its really cute in person!I also can't decide if I wanna get a clutch. Saw the lace clutch and the black and straw clutch in person. They're both super cute and I'd carry them both equally, so I can't decide
2/5/2012 4:30:53 PM
I want to try on a dress like thisanyone have any idea what stores may carry something similar? basically a similar shape, I don't care if it is halter, strapless, spaghetti strap, whatever.[Edited on February 5, 2012 at 8:03 PM. Reason : .]
2/5/2012 8:02:54 PM
sigh, time to take myself off some mailing lists. now i'm obsessed with emulating this ... think these shoes would match the belt well enough? i gotta have these too
2/6/2012 12:30:01 PM
found these shoes in the swell catalog, I want them, but I am too tall to wear them[Edited on February 6, 2012 at 12:36 PM. Reason : picture]
2/6/2012 12:33:55 PM
nonsense! those are really cute.i need this pair too. blah. someone give me $1000 stat. we've been wanting to remodel a bathroom forever but i keep blowing my paychecks
2/6/2012 12:39:20 PM
i'm a fan of wedges typically but those have way too much going on for my taste
2/6/2012 12:45:44 PM
I love wedges, but ones with more of a change from the toe height to the heel height. And you're never too tall for heels
2/6/2012 12:56:34 PM
I like my heels to have at least a 4" elevation. Barbie feet ftw.
2/6/2012 1:12:59 PM
i saw some gorgeous louboutins on Saks website this morning. i need to stop getting emails like that
2/6/2012 1:56:42 PM
I LOVE Louboutins. Luckily, Orlando isn't the most stylish city. Seems silly to have a pair in a city like this. If I ever move to NYC, LA or London, however, I might break down and buy a pair.
2/6/2012 2:08:58 PM
can your knees be too sharp to wear wedges? they look weird on me, lol
2/6/2012 2:15:50 PM
I saw some at Saks this weekendthey were neon pink and I was a little obsessed
2/6/2012 2:15:54 PM
^^ I don't think so. In fact, I think lace-up espadrilles look better on people with sharper knees/thinner legs because they tend to add a little extra bulk/dimension, but in a good way.^ those are pretty! Love the red/hot pink combo. Man, I was in the Louboutin store in Vegas and was so tempted to buy something. That place is seriously dangerous. And when you're in a cool city, you're wearing fun clothes and it almost seems practical to have a pair.

go to a junior league of raleigh event, loubs and tory burch everywhere there.

FuuuuuuMy mouth started itching and swelling after having something with yogurt this weekend (found out after the fact), and my hands started swelling up today after I had some "non-dairy" creamer (stupid coffeemate with their sneaky labels)On the plus side, I think I have gone down like 4 lbs in one week since cutting out dairy. But I would stab someone for a glass of whole milk and some cheese. And some real butter. And yogurt. And ice cream.
2/7/2012 10:41:01 AM
I'm so over Tory Burchand I'm even more over people getting excited over it like its soooo new
2/7/2012 10:44:21 AM

2/7/2012 10:44:44 AM
What she said...also, no one knows where I can try on a dress like the one I posted above?
2/7/2012 10:49:49 AM
these flats started the craze years ago
2/7/2012 10:50:38 AM
Samwise, have you tried coconut oil and milk? I got some coconut dream milk from whole foods and like it so much better than the other fake milks. Coconut oil is great for cooking and super healthy too. I might be able to try giving up dairy now.
2/7/2012 11:10:19 AM
I picture you saying

I just got these two shirts from ideeli! Ended up having to get a M since the S is either on wait list or hold Anybody know if these shirts run big or small? they are tart...
2/11/2012 12:21:20 PM
not sure about Tartbut it looks to be a shape that if it were a little big, you'd still look fine....it would just be a tad more slouchy.
2/11/2012 3:12:50 PM
Also
2/11/2012 3:14:16 PM
I bought a Tart dress a couple of months ago and it fit true to size. But you never know - sometimes stuff runs small
2/11/2012 3:43:02 PM
Thanks guys! I can always get it altered if it's way too big..I was so excited about the coral and decided to get the green to wear for st. patty's day
2/11/2012 4:20:22 PM
Can someone please explain the phenomenom which causes skinny jeans to look so absolutely dreadful on my fat ass....Until I put on a pair of heels...At which they magically become extremely flattering
2/11/2012 8:27:07 PM
So I came up stairs to bed and guess what?? One of the dresses from the Jason Wu collection was laid out for me! I gave up hope after I feel asleep waiting for the website to come back up best boyfriend ever It's the dark blue one with the box pleats and the red and white stripes along the bottom, fits perfectly. What a nice little surprise
2/11/2012 11:31:10 PM

2/11/2012 11:38:31 PM
