I have a 30% off voucher for a Love is Art kit. It doesn't appear to be specific to one user, so I think it can be used by as many people as needed. Code is LIA2011. Good through Valentine's Day.

^^ It's basically a moisturizer. It's pretty thick stuff, but doesn't feel that way when you put it on.

I use the gel version of that stuff and it is AMAZING. I'll never use anything else ever again.

So many people swear by the Clinique stuff, but I hate it. Granted, I haven't tried it since high school because of how much I hated it then.

yea, I think it just depends on what your skin likes, I know a few girls who don't get anything clinique because they don't like it/they don't think it wears well, but it makes my skin look nice and doesn't break it out sp it works for me.

also they have an 'even better clinical dark spot corrector', really nice for acne marks or sun damage (and supposedly age spots, but that doesn't apply to me just yet).... it takes a few weeks to see a noticeable difference, but good stuff

anyone know if the skin evening cream stuff works? My tzone is a little darker than the rest of my face. I mean the lady told me it was normal but....... if I could even it out enough I could wear even less makeup and that would be baller

best face stuff i ever used was back when I had money - chanel hydra max serum.

but apparently it's been reformulated and isn't as luxurious now

I'm in Orlando, bso I went to Shannon Miller (Faces by Shannon) here locally. She normally does wedding hair and makeup, but also does boudoir.

If you do boudoir pics, your photographer probably has a preferred makeup artist/stylist. And they may offer a sweet package deal. Mine was $375 for hair, makeup and a 3+ hour shoot, plus some images (blanking on the number of pics). Then you can purchase albums and extras. But not a bad price at all for what you get.

but don't you want your wedding photos to represent you...wouldn't cutting your hair right afterwards kinda misrepresent that?

diva, not really sure what I want my hair to be like, but right now I really want to cut it. I know if I do I'll be mad at myself a month from now. And I still haven't lost enough weight in my face to go as short as I want it anyway.

I waited to cut my hair until after the wedding, because I wanted to do an updo. My perfect wedding hairstyle was very different from my every day hairstyle. It's not like I'm going to do an updo every day at work, so it's not really about being representative of who you are. So, 2nd day of my honeymoon, I got it chopped to chin length. Never regretted cutting it, and never regretted waiting to cut it to get the hair I wanted for my wedding.

Also the waiting to cut your hair is some straight White People problems

I'm not gonna go months of hating my hair because I want it long for one day. There's a thing called a weave or extensions for that.

Just sayin'

I need to cut my hair STAT

after it reaches a certain length, it's almost impossible to keep unsnarled. My hair grows really fast too so I need to get like six to eight inches off.

I wanna put up some curtains in front of my sliding balcony door. I can't decide if I should make them the length of the door or just go the length of the wall

I love seeing a wall of curtains, but worry it will be too much

i hung some curtains at ceiling level on a track to close off my pets' area at night. i wanted to make it dark over there, but i think the floor to ceiling look would be too much if i was going for fashion and not functionality there. but if you are picking a curtain that is gauzy and lets in light, or the same color as your walls it could be hot

Shit I get length and width all fucked up

I meant width....I have some architecture above the door so I won't go all the way to the ceiling.

SORRY I'M MILDLY RETARDED TONIGHT

And I wanna paint my walls a grey color and then put either a bold chevron print (which would probably be too much on the whole wall) or just a solid black or grey heavy curtain

well, i went wall-to-wall with mine as well (in navy blue), so you can just replace floor-to-ceiling with wall-to-wall and my comment still stands. what about color blocking with say, 3 panels, 2 on the outside grey and the central one your print or the black (or the inverse)?

i will say that i do like the ikea KVARTAL track system. much easier to manage multiple panels than a single or double rod.

Color blocking came to mind too! And I was looking at that track system like 10 minutes ago

good call

This will give me something to do at work tomorrow. I really want to get them soon to give me some push to finish purging and starting to decorate my place...FINALLY

i'm just wondering if we'll ever get around to painting and hanging some pictures before we are ready to sell, haha

pretty sure it still has the original paint from 15 years ago, some of the other units look pretty similar
