Ha, he doesn't even attempt to cross halfcourt sometimes on defense. I'm shocked his coach enables him to do that. Can't deny his scoring ability though, he's going to be very good here.

Yeah, he just don't move for the ball much on offense either though.

That said, I'm sure a lot of HS players pick up their intensity in college; also his shooting ability will be welcomed.

Also, Mcgary was dominated the whole game.

There is no school that has more disregard for the rules than Baylor. Other schools have elaborate schemes for paying players like Duke/UNC by getting parents jobs, living accomodations, cars, etc.

Baylor just pays in straight cash homie. They don't even try to hide it. No idea how they get away with it so easily.

I mean for god's sake they tried to claim that their player that got murdered was a drug dealer just so details wouldn't leak about their pay to play scheme. And the ast coach that blew the whistle was blackballed from coaching.

Dont forget their shady Dwon/Brian Clifton connection either.

^Yep. Gathers looking really hard at NC State. A lot will depend on Amile's decision...but Ricardo has played with Purvis and Tyler & his family lives here in NC. Could be a great prospect and would give us a big physical presence down low.

6'6'' 240 and he is not fat at all...i think this kid would be an outstanding pick up and a presence in the lane no matter how "short" he is



Alejo could probably shed any "baby" fat off of him and get his vertical maxed out

Gathers is like a faster, more athletic Howell. Who actually seems to enjoy dunking the ball instead of laying it up everytime hes under the basket

i have no doubt that a 6'6 guy can be an impressive offensive player and rebounder, but anyone who gives up 3+ inches at a minimum to the guys he has to guard will get taken advantage of defensively.
