Ok, so on the high end, 1 bln/ year to maintain the wall and provide employment to officers. How much does the JCE crowd think we are losing per year on illegal immigrants use of roads, subsidies, insurance, etc? That is a question JCE, that I'm asking you to answer, because I'm sure you have a figure. How much money do these immigrants cost us every year? Is it close to 1bln, is it more, less?
1/27/2017 11:33:28 AM
Oh, by the way.... these are immigrants who while here in the U.S. are at a minimum paying sales tax, and perhaps pay income tax as well. These are also immigrants who are doing jobs that Americans just don't want to do. The wall is a solution in search of a problem, sure.
1/27/2017 11:51:25 AM
Don't you get it? Those Mexicans came and stole JCE's beloved migrant fruit picking job. He would be living the high life if it wasn't for those damn illegals.
1/27/2017 12:16:32 PM
The reasons Americans don't want to do those jobs is because they pay nothing.Illegal immigrants are poor, uneducated, and have much higher birthrates. Many send their money back to Mexico, and if not, their anchor babies overwhelmingly take more from the system than they give. Naturally as a result, they also vote overwhelmingly democrat, meaning any liberals here will no doubt see tons of anti-wall narratives from their favorite liberal news sources, because liberals benefit from illegal immigration. And that's excluding the bad hombres.
1/27/2017 12:19:00 PM
when you're asked a direct question and you choose not to answer it, how does that make you feel inside?
1/27/2017 12:25:40 PM
Anchor babies. Also known by their proper name, "American citizens"

^^it's not like any muslim extremists come from Saudi Arabia or anything. Or Egypt. Or UAE.
1/27/2017 12:48:38 PM
It couldn't possibly be that Trump did business in the countries the US has been heavily invested in since WWII and banned the countries that we actively bombed or hunted pirates in during the Obama administration. No, it had to be because of a conflict of interest.
1/27/2017 1:04:41 PM
I thought we were banning immigration to stop any potential extreme Islamic terrorism? Are you saying those countries don't have those people?

1/27/2017 1:19:14 PM
I still haven't received my answer on how much illegal immigrants cost us each year.
1/27/2017 1:22:29 PM
That's because the data is all based off estimates of estimates of estimates. If you want to ballpark it most conservatives would say around $100 billion a year. Then again most can't even agree on how many illegals are in the country. The lowest estimates say 10 million but the farther right you go it goes above 30 million.Anchor babies cost a lot too, though they aren't counted in this figure for illegal immigration. However low income, high-birthrate individuals will typically have low-income, high-birthrate offspring. Open borders don't work with a welfare state.

I would like to know HOW illegal immigrants costs the USA 100 million, HOW many are from south of the boarder and HOW many came here by walking.
1/27/2017 2:01:58 PM
Which would be more cost effective? Building a wall that doesn't guarantee it will keep most illegals out anyways, or finding ways through policy to deincentivize illegal immigration?
1/27/2017 2:02:10 PM
How about massive fines for any corporation employing an illegal immigrant? Is that a worse idea than building a wall? Would it cost more?
1/27/2017 2:11:26 PM
ONE PLAN DOES NOTHING BUT REVS UP THE BASEOTHER PLAN HARMS THE "JOB CREATORS". HMMMMMMM
1/27/2017 2:16:54 PM
Dental, Mr JCE didn't say 100 million. He said 100 BILLION. As in, eleventy billion dollars.I could almost swallow 100 million, But if Sean Hannity is telling him that they cost us 100 billion, no wonder he thinks a wall might help.
1/27/2017 2:54:47 PM
1/27/2017 3:03:05 PM
The question is will spending all that money on a wall reduce that number by at least double what the wall costs? Probably not
1/27/2017 3:35:02 PM
1/27/2017 3:35:41 PM
So after a week if Trump hasn't added these countries to the list you will respond how?
1/27/2017 3:44:20 PM
He probably won't add them and it won't be a scandal. We have strong diplomatic ties with them and it would make no sense to add them right now.I don't agree with most of what ^^ says but this is looking for a scandal when there isn't one.

We told you a problem wasn't a problem, now listen to us tell you how a solution isn't a solution!-Liberals on illegal immigration, 2017
1/27/2017 4:20:26 PM
JCE why is building a wall better than fining companies that employ illegals?
1/27/2017 4:38:08 PM
Also there's already a fuckin multi billion dollar fence!
1/27/2017 4:44:08 PM
1/27/2017 4:57:50 PM
Mexico will probably be grateful for The Wall when the USA turns into an anarchist wasteland
1/27/2017 5:42:48 PM
Is the wall to keep people out or keep people in!!????!!
1/27/2017 5:49:04 PM
What about the Snow Mexicans up north?
1/27/2017 6:17:53 PM
^I don't think we have to worry about Canadians quite as much because their country isn't a shit hole run by drug lords. A lot of Canadians would probably rather stay in their own nation.
1/27/2017 9:12:53 PM
More terrorist attacks have came from terrorists sneaking across the US/Canadian order than US/Mexican.
1/27/2017 9:28:09 PM
HAVE YOU BEEN TO MEXICO BIG4??????
1/27/2017 9:35:54 PM
1/28/2017 1:06:59 AM
1/28/2017 1:09:48 AM
so you can't answer that question?
1/28/2017 2:03:17 AM
Yep, the E-verify system may need some tweaks, give the law some extra teeth, etc, but way cheaper than a wall and likely way more effective. It has the added benefit of evening the playing field here in the US among companies that are currently playing by the rules versus those companies willing to employ the undocumented.

1/28/2017 8:08:09 AM
Lol, Trump would be in his wheelhouse if the wall was already built and he could negotiate a term to slap his name on it. Do people not realize he isn't even a big developer in Manhattan? He's a huckster turned celebrity turned huckster. That's it.[Edited on January 28, 2017 at 8:18 AM. Reason : Kushner>Trump in real estate]

The most visible trump buildings along the west side are owned by Extell. The famous "TRUMP TOWER" was built by trump but it's a condo building. Lots of stuff on the market. You can rent a nice 47th floor apt with an ugly yellow paint job for a cool $5900/month. http://streeteasy.com/building/trump-tower/rental/1838771Or you can buy this one for a nice 3.1 mil. It looks like someone died in a pile of cocaine in 1985 tho. http://streeteasy.com/building/trump-tower/45h

1/28/2017 12:54:05 PM
^^ millions upon millions of people do. Every single person who voted for him surely knew what it meant. And untold millions more who didn't vote I'm sure support it as well. It's sad to me but as I've been told over and over by the special interest pieces I'm not "real america."
