I'd rather not see Alabama in yet another NC game, but I pulled for them because the idea of seeing Ohio State in another NC game makes me rabid with anger. It's completely irrational, but that's where I'm at. That coupled with NCSU's performance this year and I'll be lucky if I come away still liking the sport.

My friend's a crazy Alabama fan, and I was supposed to call her back tonight. I'm afraid she's gonna hear me smiling on the phone. My grin gets noisy.

FSU doesn't have to suspend Winston if he is charged with felony.

They can choose to, but it is not mandated.

he just had no kicker. he makes ANY of those three FGs, or kicks a damn FG on 4th down in the red zone instead of turning it over on downs, and bama is playing for the NC next week.

Saban has better players in every position. He lost. Auburns touchdown to tie it was incredible. Then the field goal return... Saban wasn't ready. If you lose with better players, coaching was the difference. And their field goal kicker sucked.

Incredible that the SEC is going to have 3 teams in the top 5 and probably not have a shot at the NC, because tOSU plays a cupcake schedule in a conference that's almost as bad as the ACC and wins out. So glad to get rid of the BCS.

it's funny when teams like Alabama and (old school) Miami didn't even recruit kickers as scholarship players because they would rather have depth at skill positions

then kickers always bite them in the ass

especially with Saban's horrible decision to try a 57 yard field goal in the first place

Ron Rivera > Nick Saban

And Jordan Lynch has been incredible. Victim of his conference. Should get an invite to NYC though considering the Heisman competition

Another woman was taken into custody but has not been charged, Hoover Police Chief Nick Derzis told the website. He said there were "multiple witnesses."

Police would not confirm if the shooting was related to the game, which Auburn won 34-28 on a last-second field goal attempt that was returned for a touchdown."

Without Winston, FSU is still probably the best team in the country. They would beat everyone by like 10 instead of 30.

Duke has had an amazing season, and I would love to see them pull off the upset, but FSU has one of the best teams they have ever had, and Winston is going to take advantage of the Duke defense like it is a helpless woman

things that should happen for the lulz:

Duke over FSU
MSU over tOSU
Mizzou over Auburn
Oklahoma over OSU
Texas over Baylor
ASU over Stanford

who plays for the MNC then? does a 1 loss Bama go back to 1 or 2? Do we get another all SEC title game (Bama vs Mizzou)? I, for one, hope for maximum BCS chaos

Either way, it's bullshit that the best conference in the country probably has no shot at the NC, simply because tOSU plays in a cupcake league and barely wins out.

Um, the SEC isn't light years ahead of the Big Ten and ACC. I have no problem with no SEC teams playing in the title game. I think Alabama is the best team and the coaches blew that game yesterday, but they lost and some other teams are still undefeated who now deserve to go. The ACC and Big Ten probably aren't as good as the SEC, but they aren't far behind. Nine out of the fourteen SEC schools have 4+ losses including Georgia who lost to Clemson and Florida who lost to Florida State.

the problem with ohio state is now the acc has to waste its best team ever on beating ohio state by 40 to still hear "it was only ohio state" which is true.

the sad part is the is probably the only acc team that would actually beat any of those 3 great sec teams if you put them in the game.

ohio state going undefeated is basically an automatic loss for fsu regardless of what happens.

I disagree. I think OSU this season is a lot stronger than in other seasons when they went undefeated.

Plus, if FSU beats them, it will be their FIRST loss under Urban Meyer... and it will be from an ACC team.

All this is irrelevant if Sparty beats them on Saturday, which I hope happens.

Northern Illinois is undefeated. Do they deserve to play over the SEC title winner? Their schedule is pretty much as good as Ohio States.

I heard it about a million times on Sunday morning, but is it a given that Auburn would pass an undefeated Ohio State if they beat Missouri as long as the voters went along with it??

I'm torn...because I'd like to see Ohio State get decimated by FSU. But I'd also like to laugh at their fans for having that bitch-ass schedule (plus I don't think they're the number 2 teams anyways).
