she did plenty of political gaming of her own

Comey then proceeded to dismiss all charges against her, twice. What was it, five? (I lost track) congressional investigations over the last 3 years that also produced.....absolutely nothing.[Edited on December 27, 2016 at 8:02 AM. Reason : we've probably spent ~$50 million in 3 years investigating Hillary, and produced nothing substantial]

^ if he was an asshole like Rudy, Hillary would be in prison
12/27/2016 9:16:27 AM
^^^Nothing substantial? Depends on whose side you're own. I'd call losing the election pretty substantial for Trump supporters.
12/27/2016 9:39:04 AM
^ you lost the focus of the comment - nothing substantial to convict her of wrongdoing. (I don't disagree - just being picky )^^ /old[Edited on December 27, 2016 at 9:46 AM. Reason : .]
12/27/2016 9:44:38 AM
I understand that - but you know and I know that it was never about actual wrongdoing.
12/27/2016 9:49:04 AM
All you need to know is that the congressional committees investigating Hillary were closed literally days after the election. If you want to keep believing this was about anything other than politics, than that's on you.
12/27/2016 1:02:33 PM
That's what I'm saying.
12/27/2016 3:32:18 PM
democrats are upset over folks playing political gameslawl
12/27/2016 6:01:36 PM
^ obviously both sides play games, but the GOP just happens to be way better at them currently. props and stuff.]
12/27/2016 8:08:53 PM
a politician playing political games is not the same as the head of the FBI playing political games, stop being a moron
12/27/2016 9:27:03 PM
well, he was appointed by a democrat

Actually, you need to check your FBI timeline. Weiner and Abedin's shit was seized by the FBI at the very beginning of October. The FBI sat on Abedin's computer (while leaking info about it to Kallstrom or Giuliani) for three weeks before Comey decided he should let everyone know, which was just conveniently 11 days out from the election.

https://twitter.com/odavis_/status/839456935329976321This is actually fascinating. She got so far away from what she was good at (policy). It always seemed that trump was off topic but his ad-shares (his own and his PACs) were so much more policy based than hers. Totally lost the plot...
3/8/2017 9:41:50 AM
I'd like to see how they compiled that chart.Does "we're gonna build a wall and Mexico is gon' pay for it!!!" Count as a policy discussion? I'd argue no.

3/8/2017 9:56:41 AM
She actually talked policy a lot in her campaign speeches, economic policy more than anything else. Yes, her ad buys were disproportionately focused on attacking Trump rather than promoting policy, which is what that chart shows. I think the big difference and mistake they made from Obama in 2012 was not focusing on a specific economic attack which tied into their campaign's larger economic message. Portraying Romney as a corporate raider went right along with Obama's message about economic fairness. That's why it was effective and further reinforced by the 47% video.
3/8/2017 11:23:33 AM
She talked a lot about different policies in her $500k speeches to bankers.

An interesting video, and the analysis of the results on the audience was completely unexpected by those who put it together."An actress portrays Donald Trump and a man plays Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential debates, in a play organized by NYU professors to discuss gender in politics."https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yC7-JsR2Fk

It's almost like senators can't implement policy on their own.It makes only slightly more sense than asking why Trump wasn't just president thirty years ago if he had ideas.

There was a study that came out about policy which is why it was bumped. Went two days without a post until you did it again, though. She may have been a terrible candidate but she is so embedded in your brain it's scary.

Yeah, outside of my GF who REALLY likes Hillary, almost every D I've talked to is ready for Clinton to move on. Why she's continuing to make statements like this blows my mind. What good does it do?Like, sure, when you lose an election by that slim a margin its hard to pick any one thing and say "that's why I lost" but that means the news coverage/email scandal/benghazi is to blame just as much as how poor a candidate she was.For as smart as she is, you'd think she'd have a self-realization of "damn, everything I say is being blown out of proportion and is a lightning rod of hate for half the country, maybe I should keep my mouth shut."So for someone who supported you in the primary's/general, please go away.
6/1/2017 8:30:20 AM
^^ it's easy to see why. Winning the election is Trump's only noteworthy accomplishment, so he and his lackies bring up the election as much as possible.
6/1/2017 8:41:58 AM
Yeah, when your presidency is filled with gaffe after bumble after failure, all you have left is to say "but we won, neener neener neener"
6/1/2017 8:46:06 AM
^ LOLBut just think, four more posts and we can have a fresh start on a failed Topic!
6/1/2017 7:26:35 PM
of all the many accomplishments Trump's had in his short time in office, his victory at the polls is the one that burns liberals the most. That's why Trump and others keep bringing it up. Without that victory, nothing else he did would be possible, such as:placing Gorsuch in the supreme courtfederal hiring freezewithdrawing from TPPenforcing immigration lawscracking down on antidumping and countervailing trade practicespushing through Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines, among othersfocusing NASA on space instead of climate changecutting funding to sanctuary cities
6/2/2017 12:34:51 PM
Lol Gorsuch to the supreme court was 100% Mitch McConnell's accomplishment, not Trump's.
