Well then, Earl's arguments are thus transported to truth and verity by the shining lone example of Jarrett Jack. QED, mofos

Ty lawson and Raymond Felton both stayed 3 years and signifcantly improved their 3pt shot as a junior. They could have easily left as sophomores but wouldn't have the longevity and stardom they see today and thats just the one school i follow off the top of my head. Its basically a similar story with most of the successful players in the nba that aren't physical freaks. If you are going to be a skilled player than refining your skills in college is the best bet. If you are going to be a freak who out-athletes his way over other players, then preserving your youthful years is the way to go.
5/24/2014 1:40:54 PM
Felton is a career 33% 3PT shooter in the NBAmeanwhile, Lawson's 3PT % has decreased every year he's been in the prosif only the 3 point lines were the same in college and the NBA you might have a pointor if Warren played on loaded teams and won championships[Edited on May 24, 2014 at 1:49 PM. thats not bad. its not great but its good enough to keep getting him significant playing time and shots 9 years later despite being an idiot on and off the court.Having the threat of an outside shot is the point. It doesn't have to be a 3. If an NBA player can knock down a college 3, that is enough to keep the defense honest. Warren's just not going to be worth a clogged paint.[Edited on May 24, 2014 at 1:55 PM. Reason : k][Edited on May 24, 2014 at 1:56 PM. Tj can only hope to reach the level of stardom Raymond Felton has achieved

^^ dude's been in the league for nine straight years (and was only out of shape for one of them!), that's nothing to scoff at.

ESPN Insider on TJ.
5/27/2014 5:45:05 PM
plz to go to the bulls, although I don't know if he would do well with Rose.

Has anyone seen the espn the magazine nba draft preview issue? Pj harriston gets a three page article starting on page 79 Tj gets basically a side bar on page 103 or some bull crap. I guess they wrote all of this before Tj got invited to the draft green room.
6/23/2014 1:39:37 PM
TJ gets more love for helping us land HendersonHeard TJ will also be in the green room for the draft tomorrow night
6/25/2014 2:26:19 PM
Does he have a chance?
6/25/2014 2:39:17 PM
I mean, to be fair, Cleveland IS picking number one so I would say he has as good a shot as any player really lol
6/25/2014 2:46:30 PM
TJ is the anti-Purvis
6/25/2014 2:51:26 PM
Biggest day of his life. T-J! T-J!
6/26/2014 6:45:11 AM
i really hope he doesn't Leslie his way through the draft
6/26/2014 7:43:50 AM
^TJ's draft stock is higher than Leslie's was after both his sophomore and junior year. Can't imagine TJ dropping out of the first round. Esp. considering how well he did in the team workouts(apparently dominated in 1-on-1 and 3-on-3 workouts).[Edited on June 26, 2014 at 8:00 AM. Reason : .]
6/26/2014 7:59:59 AM
if he drops past the Hornets late 1st rounder I'll be livid
6/26/2014 8:01:49 AM
Saw a rumor he got a promise from the Suns, who have 3 first round picks (#14, #18 and #27)
6/26/2014 8:23:04 AM
TJ is awesome. I don't really follow the NBA much, so whatever team gets TJ will be my new favorite team. Would be cool to see it be the Hornets, but really I just want whatever situation will be best for his NBA career. The latest mock draft from Ford showed TJ dropping all the way to 27 or so for some reason, not sure why. Hopefully he goes in the lottery, I honestly think he'll have a better career than Doug McDermott.
6/26/2014 10:39:44 AM
the Hornets won't take him as their first pick, unfortunately. I'd love to see him go to the Bulls but they need shooters. I think he'll land with the Suns

Jabari or TJ: Who wore that suit better?

Which team will draft TBDV?
6/26/2014 9:09:32 PM
The Australia Dingos
6/26/2014 9:12:22 PM
If he pretended he never played in the US he'd go first round.
6/26/2014 9:12:39 PM
Who is making the TJ Warren MVP thread for jaybee?
6/26/2014 9:30:32 PM
does jaybee follow men's basketball?

^^^^Yes!
6/26/2014 9:50:10 PM
TBDV should have a solid pro career. He will be a regular face in the "Former pack players in pros thread"[Edited on June 26, 2014 at 9:53 PM. Reason : ]

Lurking in the shadows of the Suns D-league sits a man ready to be for TJ what Pippen was for MJ. Rise! Rise! Rise! Rise! Rise!

It's easy when you don't already have an NBA team. Now I can just become a Suns fan. Might snag me a Warren Suns jersey, though I still need to get me a Wilson Seahawks jersey too.Seems like a great fit for TJ though. I could definitely see him developing into the leading scorer for the Suns within a couple years or so.
6/27/2014 1:17:39 PM
i'll own up: i didn't think he'd go anywhere near that high, and was clearly dead wrong. excellent news for everyone.
