Hah, I guess I meant spoiled in the fact I, nor anyone I've dated has paid for a flight in years. On the plus side I have lounge access in a bunch of places, so I'm usually feeling pretty good come flight time.Just came back from EU vis Lufthansa. Sat in coach, and got free meals for all the flights, free booze, and hot towels. Also, had my own entertainment device with tons of new movies and a usb plug to charge my phone. Wish an airline in the states provided such things.I think you are talking about chase URs vs the credit card bonus we were discussing which was strictly for delta miles.[Edited on September 10, 2014 at 5:06 PM. ^the Airbus i just flew back on from Barcelona via US Airways had meals, complimentary wine, in-seat entertainment for coach, and USB device charging. So my Barclay Arrival World Elite MC with chip+pin technology was rejected everywhere in Spain. Even though it was activated, used in the US multiple times, pin set up correctly, and notified the card company that I was travelling abroad. Thankfully i had my Chase SP which worked flawlessly. That being said, i got the Arrival specifically for this trip to use and quickly meet the bonus. They know i had problems, but couldn't do anything about it while I was travelling and told me to call when i got home. What should I try to get out of them when i call to issue my major complaint? I probably spent half, if not more, of my spending requirements.

Gotcha. Last over seas flight I had in business class: Included my own Bose headphones, Tumi goodie bag (socks, tooth brush, eye pad thingy, etc, etc). Plus like a 5 course meal.

Yeah, kind of annoying for my aug-nov churn but at least I signed up for serve last month.
9/11/2014 12:18:48 PM
bummer
9/11/2014 12:44:24 PM
well damn. Back to the drawing board.

hmmm...guess I better get in on it before it gets canned.
9/11/2014 2:53:27 PM
^^can you dumb that down for me? I read it twice and have no idea what that shit says
9/11/2014 8:14:47 PM
The way I understand it, Serve functions similar to Bluebird but cuts out the requirement for a middle man (amazon payments)
9/11/2014 8:57:08 PM
I think I'm going to sign up for Serve. If anybody wants me to use their referral link, PM me.[Edited on September 12, 2014 at 9:03 AM. Reason : nevermind, mobile doesn't give you the chance to use referral]

"This phone has been rooted. Isis is not supported"
9/12/2014 9:26:24 AM
^ did you have to wait after cancelling your Bluebird to get a Serve? My mom still has Verizon so think I'll steal her phone this weekend to create an account through the ISIS(Softcard) app just to get the $1500/mo load instead of $1000.
9/12/2014 10:50:42 AM
Yes. Guess I'm stuck with 1K load.Waited like 5 min, but def need to cancel firstDo I just need the app to create an account, or do all the loads have to be done via phone?[Edited on September 12, 2014 at 11:03 AM. Reason : ]
9/12/2014 11:02:50 AM
Not 100% sure. Read somewhere that the account needed to be created within the app to get the extra $500/mo but haven't seen anywhere where it explicitly says you need to load it from the app. Guess I'll find out tonight. The daily limit of $200 ($500 with ISIS) seems annoying too.]
9/12/2014 11:10:01 AM
Yeah, luckily app is super user friendly aside from the fact you can only have like 1-2 cards loaded at once. Keep me posted.
9/12/2014 11:17:03 AM
I read that once you set it up via the app and get the Serve with ISIS or whatever the card says, you're free to do everything else via computer.
9/12/2014 3:56:22 PM
Looks like the loads are still limited to $200/day and $1k/mo even when trying to add through the ISIS app or the web. Did read somewhere that you don't get the full limit until you activate the physical card so guess it's a wait and see.http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/23375264-post6115.html
9/12/2014 8:46:12 PM
Are you all using any particular point earning debit cards when doing the VR->Serve loads?
9/14/2014 3:29:18 AM
I use credit cards.
9/14/2014 1:32:49 PM
^^^ Can't I just sign up on another phone, get the card, activate it, and do loads through my laptop?
9/15/2014 9:29:45 AM
^ That's how I understand it and what I plan on doing once I get my physical card.
9/15/2014 9:32:53 AM
That's what some are doing that don't have an ISIS compatible phone. I'm waiting until the card gets here so I can make sure the $500/$1500 loads show up on the web. Also their emails are a bit out of date.
9/15/2014 9:41:51 AM
Signed up for ISIS but still wasn't able to send more than $200 Maybe it takes some time to sync up?
9/16/2014 4:28:28 PM
Have you received and activated the physical card yet? Even if you're signed up through ISIS, you're still limited to $200 per day/$1000 per month until that happens.
9/16/2014 4:42:29 PM
There's an additional isis card in addition to the serve card?
9/16/2014 6:21:06 PM
If you already have a Serve card, you'll need to cancel it and sign up through ISIS for a new account to get the extra load amounts. Then you wait for the new card to come in the mail. Think it's a joint branded Serve-ISIS card and not the usual one.
9/16/2014 7:13:07 PM
9/16/2014 7:32:11 PM
^^ Eugh. I just fucking cancelled bluebird to get serve, and now I have to cancel it again to get isis?
9/16/2014 8:23:34 PM
if you created the serve account via the app, then you have serve-isis.
9/16/2014 9:52:09 PM
No, I already had a serve account.I created an Isis account through the app.
9/16/2014 11:02:21 PM
ah my bad. yeah well then I think you're stuck with the 200/1000 limits.
9/17/2014 8:27:32 AM
Eugh. Life is hard. FWP. :-(For anyone else interested
9/17/2014 9:35:35 AM
yeah, it's a co-branded card. The pre-selectable amounts never changed from the default +20,+50,+100,+200 values but was able to manually enter $500 and successfully load it from the website.]
9/21/2014 2:10:18 PM
isis?
9/21/2014 9:14:45 PM
It's the Google Wallet competitor that Verizon, AT&T and TMobile are using. They're in the process of changing the name to Softcard though since the ISIS name doesn't exactly give people a warm fuzzy feeling.
9/21/2014 10:04:33 PM
Got my card last week and have successfully loaded the $500 from a CC so I'm good to go even though my account still says I have a $200 per day limit. Working on the direct deposit bonus now.How is everybody going to get their money out of Serve? I just paid a different credit card bill than the one I loaded.
9/22/2014 8:21:59 AM
Amazon payments needs to hurry up and verify my Serve account so I can get that $50 direct deposit credit.
9/22/2014 9:35:37 AM
how far apart did you do the $250 deposits
9/22/2014 9:36:21 AM
Gotta wait until Amazon puts the test deposits into the Serve account so I can verify it. $50 Direct Deposit promotion apparently ends Sept 29th so they better hurry.

Wait I'm confused. Once you load $1000/month you then have to like use your phone for payments? Doesn't seem like it's worth it.
9/22/2014 12:27:13 PM
no, you don't have to use the phone ever again once you've set it up.
