Your right DJE, but you need to read up on what LuLu is... Its ChaCha's database they have built up using guides... I've read up on how they are building up a database and the theory is they will eventually phase out the Guides, using the database to auto answer. I think this usage limits in combination with LuLu and Wolfram Alpha will be the death of us all...

ChaCha was just in Entertainment Weekly, and NBC is doing a story on them today. This should most likely drive up the sale of ads, causing ChaCha to raise the question limits, and causing more questions for guides.

I am sure it will be b2b again soon, and they will probably even need to open up new guide registration.

chacha is so incredibly shitty. I have gotten consistently poor, insufficient and often borderline illiterate answers

http://www.mosio.com/ is vastly superior and doesn't have ads. they do encourage you to answer other people's questions though

the problem with chacha is people get paid more if they give you shitty but quick answers and move on to the next question rather than taking an extra 30-60 seconds to find out what you really need to know

When someone tries to be smart and ask me "whats 2935082734089987234 times 23407234097234?" all I'm thinking is "thanks for the free money buddy" and 20 seconds later I'm done with their crap. When you ask if its okay to fuck your mom, I'd rather you go fuck yourself than waste my time. I am an honest person and when I can see someone using ChaCha legitimately and they really truly need help with something or finding something, I don't think twice about trying my best. Perhaps the application process should be tougher to weed out the morons.

Wow, a high volume alert e-mail. That's a good sign.

And as for the bad answers, make sure you rate them an F when you get them and don't just come on here and complain about them. Rating bad answers will help weed out the bad guides, thus opening up registration for new guides that will put emphasis on accuracy.

there isn't one really. it's all about longevity and being available whenever there is a high volume of questions.

it helps to have all your specialties be higher paying ones, but at the same time it's better to get b2b $.10 questions then getting 3 $.15 per hour.

If it's been a year since you ChaCha'ed, the main difference you will notice is the category pay rates. That and the fact that they have really strict question limits right now, which makes getting back to back questions pretty rare lately.

Other than that, the functionality and rules are pretty much the same
