^ I'd go w/ Jackson for sure, and then Slaton.

Need to start one out of these three:

Devery Henderson vs. OAK
Antwaan Randle El vs. STL
Ike Hilliard vs. CAR
Steve Breaston vs. DAL

^^I'd start Grant over Slaton...Grant hasn't been good this year but neither has Seattle's defense...also Miami's run defense has been pretty good, and Ahman Green actually played a full game last week and didn't get hurt!

Quote :

McGahee

depending on your other RB spots, I might try to start McGahee AND McClain!

Yeah I'm considering playing Colston as well. I'm projected to win by like 45 over the 2nd place team (I'm #1, we are both 4-1). I figure I might as well see if I can boost my total points by a decent amount, other then him I would play Welker or Isaac Bruce, neither of which I expect to put up huge totals.

Pick 3:

Joseph Addai vs. Baltimore
Thomas Jones vs. Cincinnati
Willis McGahee @ Indianapolis
Fred Taylor @ Denver

currently I have the top 3 starting but I think Taylor will have a good game...what I REALLY would like to do is trade one of these guys to my team in my other league where I have Marshawn Lynch on a bye week, Selvin Young injured, and I'm starting Michael Bush and Chester Taylor at RB

COLSTON WILL PLAY!

Colston had been out with torn ligaments in his thumb. Clearly, this is a boon for fantasy owners. Despite the hype about the Raiders' pass defense, they allow 233 receiving yards per game, which is 21st in the league. "

You really think we should start Colston right away?

Chester Taylor vs. Detroit
Darren Sproles vs. NE

I could also pick up a free agent RB...some of the backs out there are Ricky Williams, Ahman Green, TJ Duckett, Andre Hall, Rudi Johnson

that's according to espn fantasy. I don't know about the start just yet.

also

P-riv v NE
or Mcnabb v SF

leaning Mcnabb right now, but both would probably be good plays.

How do you guys feel about this trade:

Give up Cotchery to get LJ.

Kansas City line looks like shit, and LJ may be be disgruntled, and they have no QB. My other receivers are smitty and TO. No WR backups -- so there is a risk for bye weeks and injuries.

^^ I don't feel that great about it because LJ hasn't been consistently good this season. He's had two good weeks out of five, and followed them up with that stunning 2 yards on 7 carries performance against Carolina.

Cotchery, on the other hand, has been doing pretty well with Favre. He's had one bad week out of four, and he's already had his bye week.

It also depends on your RB situation, too.

As someone who wasted a high draft pick on the guy, and still wrestles every week with whether to play him I would say stay far away from LJ. The guy is completely unreliable and is incapable of putting up mediocre performances. By that I mean one week he will win your matchup with 20+ points and the next he will lose it with 2 or 0. You just can't ever count on him.

Besides, KC sucks and when they fall behind, which they will, they aren't gonna give LJ the 20-25 touches he needs to be a fantasy factor.

Ok so two questions, right now I have

Matt Hasselbeck GB
Ben Roethlisberger BYE

As my quarterbacks, quite content with them however, with hasselbeck getting injuried and possibly not playing this week and the only TE I have is heath Miller, I really can't afford to have two positions not making any points, so pick up a QB or TE right? well Jeff garcia is available which his merits can be debated, but I am more concerned with who to let go:

Ronnie Brown @ HOU
Adrian Peterson DET
Correll Buckhalter @ SF
Michael Pittman @ JAC
Ricky Williams @ HOU
Joseph Addai BAL
Devery Henderson OAK
Kevin Walter MIA
Steve Breaston DAL
Antwaan Randle El STL

and with only being able to start two RB, what should I look for in a RB trade and who would you trade away for either blue chip WR, QB or TE....

It would be a temporary thing but who should I let go?
and obviously

i say drop buckhalter and grab the best qb available this week, based on the matchup. yes, he is starting for westbrook this week but i doubt you would want to start him over any two of your other RB's and they have a bye in week 7 after which westbrook will likely return.

for your TE problem, i would probably wait until the last minute to see if colston is going to play or not (looking like he might as of now). if colston is going to play, definitely cut henderson to grab the best available TE. the other possibility here is to cut breaston as his situation is similar to buckhalter's with a bye coming in week 7 and boldin likely returning after that. the difference here is you probably would be starting breaston this week if you keep him.

as far as trades go, i would probably try to deal ronnie brown for a stud WR and backup RB. his value should be really high right now, and with addai's slow start you probably won't get fair trade value for him. depending on your scoring system and how you're doing currently though you may find it best to just stay put with a strong RB corps and just play the waiver wire to field 3 serviceable WR's every week. (or do you only need 2?)

post what qb's and te's are available in your league and we can suggest who to grab.

^^I made a mistake, I meant to say PICK 1:

Issac Bruce vs. PHI (Has been good for me lately)
Torry Holt vs. WAS (He plays for the Rams and it's against the redskins=shaky)
Braylon Edwards vs. NYG (See Torry Holt)

Barber is projected to get a whopping 8 pts this week by espn's projections...you guys think he'll really have another subpar game? If so, would I be better off sliding Sammy Morris (vs SD) or Steve Breaston (vs Dal) in his spot? Hesitant to start breaston since I already have Warner & Fitzgerald (don't want all my eggs in the Cards basket)

Pick one for my 'flex' option this week

Michael Pittman
or
Eddie Royal

The Broncos are playing the Jags Sunday. Pittman is filling in for the injured Selvin Young. Probably splitting some carries with Andre Hall. Eddie Royal is going to play; however he is coming off an injured ankle that has limited him in practice. But the Jags secondary has been pretty subpar this year.

So Running back or Wideout?

QB's available:

Joe Flacco BAL
Jeff Garcia TB
Tarvaris Jackson MIN
Trent Green STL
Sage Rosenfels HOU

I think Jeff garcia is the best option there.

TE's:

David Martin MIA
Alge Crumpler TEN
Tom Santi IND
Billy Miller NO
Desmond Clark CHI

I'm leaning towards Clark or Crumpler but Martin this week is @HOU and I am banking on Ronnie Brown opening the passing game but rushing for at least 2 TDs!
I'm going to wait till tomorrow to do the transactions so that I can fidn out more about hasselbecks injury status and Colston's status for the game.

I need to do some things to shore up my RB group by trading some WRs. Our league had way too many roster positions, so nothing is available on the WW ever. I really only need three good WRs, because we play two with a flex option (which I would rather be a RB), so I'm up for getting rid of anything, really.

Here are my WRs:
A. Johnson
Plaxico
S. Moss
Cotchery
E. Royal
I. Bruce
K. Curtis

Team 1 has these RBs:
E. Graham
J. Addai
Chris Johnson
LeRon McClain
TJ Duckett

Team 2 has these RBs:
Portis
Michael Turner
Chris Perry
Fred Taylor
Fargas
Pierre Thomas
Ahmad Bradshaw

I was looking to see if people could propose some fair trade ideas. I have a bad habit of trying to get too much for too little, and I want to know what you guys think might be some fair trades here. Scoring is 10 yds a point, 6 points for TDs, no PPR for RB/WR.

I am looking ideally to get a stud back. I can sacrifice a lot in my mind to get it, but you can't win without solid RBs.

Ok, I’m #2, 4-1 facing the #1, 5-0 team. I need to fill my flex position. Who would you choose given these options?

McFadden vs. Saints
Fargas vs. Saints
Berrian vs. Detroit

I'm not sure about starting McFadden or Fargas. I'm just not sure what the split will be between the two. McFadden will probably get more touches inside the redzone, but is listed as questionable with that lingering turf toe.

Berrian's got some kind of knee injury and is listed as questionable, but has a great match up against the shitty Lions so I don't know.

Quote :
"Head coach Tom Cable confirmed Friday that Fargas (groin, probable) would be the starting running back in Week 6, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Spin: He plans on using a scheme similar to the one the team used in Weeks 1 and 2, Fargas getting the majority of the carries and Darren McFadden being the change-of-pace gamebreaker. Fargas averaged 5.2 yards a carry before going down."
