I have to start 2.Ryan Grant @ SEASteve Slaton vs. MIASteven Jackson @ WASHALP! this is for outright 1st place in my league[Edited on October 10, 2008 at 10:07 AM. Reason : v not ph]
10/10/2008 10:07:26 AM
^ I'd go w/ Jackson for sure, and then Slaton.Need to start one out of these three:Devery Henderson vs. OAKAntwaan Randle El vs. STLIke Hilliard vs. CARSteve Breaston vs. DAL
10/10/2008 10:19:04 AM
^^I'd start Grant over Slaton...Grant hasn't been good this year but neither has Seattle's defense...also Miami's run defense has been pretty good, and Ahman Green actually played a full game last week and didn't get hurt!
10/10/2008 10:29:02 AM
^^ I'd go with Devery Henderson most likely...What's up with Colston?
10/10/2008 11:22:28 AM
Colston might play this weekend...I'm gonna wait before I plug him back in
10/10/2008 11:51:27 AM
im starting colston. im projected to win by thirty pts this week so im going to gamble. patten is out, shockey is still out, maybe colston will put up some big numbers.and any advice about RB? i have l. mcclain and im thinking about starting him over m. turner since turner is going up against the bear's D[Edited on October 10, 2008 at 12:13 PM. 10/10/2008 12:11:55 PM
Yeah I'm considering playing Colston as well. I'm projected to win by like 45 over the 2nd place team (I'm #1, we are both 4-1). I figure I might as well see if I can boost my total points by a decent amount, other then him I would play Welker or Isaac Bruce, neither of which I expect to put up huge totals.
10/10/2008 1:05:26 PM
Garrand or orton?
10/10/2008 1:57:10 PM
Pick 3:Joseph Addai vs. BaltimoreThomas Jones vs. CincinnatiWillis McGahee @ IndianapolisFred Taylor @ Denvercurrently I have the top 3 starting but I think Taylor will have a good game...what I REALLY would like to do is trade one of these guys to my team in my other league where I have Marshawn Lynch on a bye week, Selvin Young injured, and I'm starting Michael Bush and Chester Taylor at RB
10/10/2008 2:34:40 PM
i'd go bottom three. baltimore aint gonna let addai run on them.
10/10/2008 2:36:26 PM
10/10/2008 2:40:07 PM
Westbrook will not play
10/10/2008 2:43:43 PM
I have him on 2/3 teams and the third is already an inactive owner who won't trade him.You really think we should start Colston right away?
10/10/2008 2:43:53 PM
Pick 2:Michael Bush @ NOChester Taylor vs. DetroitDarren Sproles vs. NEI could also pick up a free agent RB...some of the backs out there are Ricky Williams, Ahman Green, TJ Duckett, Andre Hall, Rudi Johnson
10/10/2008 3:02:22 PM
^^^^
10/10/2008 3:09:19 PM
yeah, I'd probably go with McNabbPick one of eachRB:Correll Buckhalter @ SFThomas Jones vs. CinciWR:Braylon Edwards vs. NYGBobby Engram v. GB
10/10/2008 3:43:08 PM
Thomas Jonestossup, but probably Braylon...he cant suck ass all year right? ps: i'm running braylon and engram in one of my leagues and sitting colston down...but all that might change before sunday

How do you guys feel about this trade:Give up Cotchery to get LJ. Kansas City line looks like shit, and LJ may be be disgruntled, and they have no QB. My other receivers are smitty and TO. No WR backups -- so there is a risk for bye weeks and injuries.[Edited on October 10, 2008 at 4:02 PM. Reason : .]
10/10/2008 4:00:33 PM
I would prolly do that trade, LJ has gone off for a few gamesAlsoGarrand or orton?
10/10/2008 4:18:48 PM
^^ I don't feel that great about it because LJ hasn't been consistently good this season. He's had two good weeks out of five, and followed them up with that stunning 2 yards on 7 carries performance against Carolina.Cotchery, on the other hand, has been doing pretty well with Favre. He's had one bad week out of four, and he's already had his bye week. It also depends on your RB situation, too.[Edited on October 10, 2008 at 4:26 PM. Reason : ]
10/10/2008 4:21:35 PM
As someone who wasted a high draft pick on the guy, and still wrestles every week with whether to play him I would say stay far away from LJ. The guy is completely unreliable and is incapable of putting up mediocre performances. By that I mean one week he will win your matchup with 20+ points and the next he will lose it with 2 or 0. You just can't ever count on him. Besides, KC sucks and when they fall behind, which they will, they aren't gonna give LJ the 20-25 touches he needs to be a fantasy factor.

Ok so two questions, right now I haveMatt Hasselbeck GBBen Roethlisberger BYEAs my quarterbacks, quite content with them however, with hasselbeck getting injuried and possibly not playing this week and the only TE I have is heath Miller, I really can't afford to have two positions not making any points, so pick up a QB or TE right? well Jeff garcia is available which his merits can be debated, but I am more concerned with who to let go:Ronnie Brown @ HOUAdrian Peterson DETCorrell Buckhalter @ SFMichael Pittman @ JACRicky Williams @ HOUJoseph Addai BALDevery Henderson OAKKevin Walter MIASteve Breaston DALAntwaan Randle El STLand with only being able to start two RB, what should I look for in a RB trade and who would you trade away for either blue chip WR, QB or TE....It would be a temporary thing but who should I let go? and obviously
10/10/2008 6:03:52 PM
^^ yes... he isnt even flying out to SF
10/10/2008 6:12:07 PM
10/10/2008 6:14:59 PM
Pick 2:Isaac Bruce vs. PHITorry Holt vs. WASBraylon Edwards vs. NYG
10/10/2008 11:05:57 PM
^^^^i say drop buckhalter and grab the best qb available this week, based on the matchup. yes, he is starting for westbrook this week but i doubt you would want to start him over any two of your other RB's and they have a bye in week 7 after which westbrook will likely return.for your TE problem, i would probably wait until the last minute to see if colston is going to play or not (looking like he might as of now). if colston is going to play, definitely cut henderson to grab the best available TE. the other possibility here is to cut breaston as his situation is similar to buckhalter's with a bye coming in week 7 and boldin likely returning after that. the difference here is you probably would be starting breaston this week if you keep him. as far as trades go, i would probably try to deal ronnie brown for a stud WR and backup RB. his value should be really high right now, and with addai's slow start you probably won't get fair trade value for him. depending on your scoring system and how you're doing currently though you may find it best to just stay put with a strong RB corps and just play the waiver wire to field 3 serviceable WR's every week. (or do you only need 2?)post what qb's and te's are available in your league and we can suggest who to grab.
10/10/2008 11:18:59 PM
^^I made a mistake, I meant to say PICK 1:Issac Bruce vs. PHI (Has been good for me lately)Torry Holt vs. WAS (He plays for the Rams and it's against the redskins=shaky)Braylon Edwards vs. NYG (See Torry Holt)
10/11/2008 8:12:29 AM

Barber is projected to get a whopping 8 pts this week by espn's projections...you guys think he'll really have another subpar game? If so, would I be better off sliding Sammy Morris (vs SD) or Steve Breaston (vs Dal) in his spot? Hesitant to start breaston since I already have Warner & Fitzgerald (don't want all my eggs in the Cards basket)[Edited on October 11, 2008 at 10:36 AM. Reason : )]
10/11/2008 10:35:48 AM
gotta pick 2 between:hightowermcallisterfargasmcfaddenhave the first 2 going as of now. was gonna play mcfadden but he's still banged up. supposedly the saints want a more balanced offense so deuce should get more carries than last week. thoughts?
10/11/2008 12:28:02 PM
^^hahaha, don't start crying just yet. it would be retarded to replace barber with breaston or morris.
10/11/2008 12:59:23 PM
asking if others agree with projections = crying some of us who are 5-0 are interested in staying undefeated
10/11/2008 1:19:09 PM
Pick one for my 'flex' option this weekMichael Pittman orEddie RoyalThe Broncos are playing the Jags Sunday. Pittman is filling in for the injured Selvin Young. Probably splitting some carries with Andre Hall. Eddie Royal is going to play; however he is coming off an injured ankle that has limited him in practice. But the Jags secondary has been pretty subpar this year.So Running back or Wideout?
10/11/2008 1:34:53 PM
RB. You said it yourself -- pittman is going to do better than he normally does. Royal is going to do worse.
10/11/2008 1:41:48 PM
QB's available:Joe Flacco BALJeff Garcia TBTarvaris Jackson MINTrent Green STLSage Rosenfels HOUI think Jeff garcia is the best option there.TE's:David Martin MIAAlge Crumpler TENTom Santi INDBilly Miller NODesmond Clark CHII'm leaning towards Clark or Crumpler but Martin this week is @HOU and I am banking on Ronnie Brown opening the passing game but rushing for at least 2 TDs! I'm going to wait till tomorrow to do the transactions so that I can fidn out more about hasselbecks injury status and Colston's status for the game.
10/11/2008 2:48:55 PM
I need to do some things to shore up my RB group by trading some WRs. Our league had way too many roster positions, so nothing is available on the WW ever. I really only need three good WRs, because we play two with a flex option (which I would rather be a RB), so I'm up for getting rid of anything, really. Here are my WRs:A. JohnsonPlaxicoS. MossCotcheryE. RoyalI. BruceK. Curtis Team 1 has these RBs:E. GrahamJ. AddaiChris JohnsonLeRon McClainTJ DuckettTeam 2 has these RBs:PortisMichael TurnerChris PerryFred TaylorFargasPierre ThomasAhmad BradshawI was looking to see if people could propose some fair trade ideas. I have a bad habit of trying to get too much for too little, and I want to know what you guys think might be some fair trades here. Scoring is 10 yds a point, 6 points for TDs, no PPR for RB/WR.I am looking ideally to get a stud back. I can sacrifice a lot in my mind to get it, but you can't win without solid RBs.[Edited on October 11, 2008 at 3:37 PM. Reason : ds]
10/11/2008 3:36:02 PM
Brees or Cutler?
10/11/2008 7:23:53 PM
Ok, I’m #2, 4-1 facing the #1, 5-0 team. I need to fill my flex position. Who would you choose given these options?McFadden vs. Saints Fargas vs. SaintsBerrian vs. DetroitI'm not sure about starting McFadden or Fargas. I'm just not sure what the split will be between the two. McFadden will probably get more touches inside the redzone, but is listed as questionable with that lingering turf toe. Berrian's got some kind of knee injury and is listed as questionable, but has a great match up against the shitty Lions so I don't know.
10/11/2008 10:29:27 PM
Who is picking up Cedric Benson?
10/11/2008 10:32:40 PM

ahembrees or cutler? plz
10/12/2008 9:31:56 AM
I'd go Brees. Cutler has been struggling the past few weeks. Royal might be limited and Colston might be back in a big way on the NO side of things.
10/12/2008 10:27:25 AM
Housh @ Jets or Bobby Engram vs GB? Both are likely to have backup QB's throwing the ball their wayCorrell Buckhalter @SF orJustin Fargas @ NO[Edited on October 12, 2008 at 10:46 AM. Reason : ^I agree.. go Brees]
