How many 3s has Rice hit so far? I lol'd when he was waving his hands at himself as to say "whoo I'm hot out here".

29 points in one half! Are you serious?!

8-8 on 3 pointers now. Roy Williams is even applauding the performance. He's got 32 points now.

Nice save attempt by Jeremis Smith right there...flew on to the scorers' table then slid off the back of it head-first.

Might be the most impressive 10 minutes of bball I've seen at the college level this year teamwise... They can't do anything wrong.

Survived that. Tennessee played like ass, but they got the "W".

^^A #1 seed is still lookin' good! Thats all that matters at this point.

wow, so Tennessee almost loses (at home) to a Kentucky team that just lost their best player..

who seriously thinks this team will make it past the sweet 16?

also, Lofton's gonna have to make a lot of 3's in the last few games if he hopes catch Redick's record (457)

I, for one, think they make it past the Sweet 16 and I think pimpleback's record is safe.

Redick was a better college player than Lofton over his career. I hated him when he was in school but looking back on his college career he has grown on me. Best pure shooter I've seen in college since Ray Allen... Somehow I don't think I'll look back at Paulus the same way.

haha, i don't think anyone will look at Paulus that way.. but it is worth noting that he actually shoots a better 3pt % than Wayne Ellington, who is constantly talked about as one of the best pure shooters in the game

haha the GT students are wearing ponchos inside Alexander Memorial Coliseum tonight. if you remember their game with UVA was postponed b/c of water dripping on the court from a roof leak. the jumbotron said "Weather Forecast: Clear Skies and Dry in the Coliseum"

So if UVa wins this game then we are NOT in the ACC/Big 10 challenge next year.

The ACC's top 11 teams play in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. So the 12th place team has to go out and find another quality OOC opponent to fill the gap, which would be hard to do so late. It can hurt your strength of schedule considerably. So if we are a bubble team and have a lousy strength of schedule next year, the selection committee could hold that against us.

Well we need to beat Wake Forest now and for UVA to lose their final two games. Virginia will likely lose the next two games. They play Duke at home on Wednesday and Maryland at home on Sunday.

It's up to us to take care of business.

There's still a chance that we end up 10th actually. If the above scenario plays out and Boston College loses out we finish 10th (I know big whoop). BC plays at Miami tomorrow and host Georgia Tech on Saturday. I think they'll lose against Miami b/c Miami is desperately trying to make the NCAAs. Not so sure about GT though.

well hopefully we can play like we did on saturday and finish strong going into the tourny. I just want another shot at either duke or unc when we are playing like that.

If we decide to suck then i dont want to play them again. No more embarassment plz
