11/13/2007 11:14:09 PM
^^i had a one bullet triple kill on cod4 last night
11/13/2007 11:22:42 PM
so i want to upload this game map i made, but i cant for the life of me figure out how to put it on bungie.netit's uploaded to my profile or whatever you do when you save it and upload it via livewhat do i do next
11/13/2007 11:40:28 PM
delete it
11/13/2007 11:49:24 PM
you're a spiteful little nerd aren't you
11/14/2007 1:17:38 AM
if it's on your fileshare, now someone has to come to your profile to download ityou can't upload to bungie.net "favorites" or anything like thatthey choose that themselves
11/14/2007 7:46:03 AM
If you record a live match of your map you can have it uploaded to geevee so at least we can see what its all about before downloading it ourselves
11/14/2007 9:19:39 AM

^^^I only post from work actually [Edited on November 14, 2007 at 9:24 AM. Reason : ^]
11/14/2007 9:23:37 AM
you play so many games that you don't spend enuf time with one of them and you can't get good at any one of them and thus you suck at cod4
11/14/2007 9:25:43 AM
I don't play that many games. COD4 is by far the best to date and has held my attention the longest. I see this as my main game. But given the nature of my work, it is encouraged to expand my horizons into different games and they're all tax deductible I don't suck just an off night.
11/14/2007 9:28:17 AM
i run around it on forge by myself for half an hour at a time just driving around scorpions and flying the hornets and stuff....
11/14/2007 9:29:54 AM
what do you do to get games as tax deductible? are you a secret shopper or something?
11/14/2007 9:30:19 AM
^haha no but I do UI Development for a local company. They're in the gaming industry so anything game related for us is tax deductible because its 'work related research'
11/14/2007 9:31:37 AM
so you are helping design a menu system for a game or something? i am in biomedical/agricultural research btw.[Edited on November 14, 2007 at 9:35 AM. Reason : asdfa]
11/14/2007 9:34:59 AM
I'll admit I'm not exactly up to snuff on the 'tax-deductible' terminologySo if a game costs 60 dollars, how much do you end up paying?Do you just save the 4 dollars that the tax would be, or more than that?
11/14/2007 9:40:13 AM
that means you can take it off your taxable income at the end of the yeardoesnt really mean a lot unless you buy a shitload of games or your taxable income is reaaally low[Edited on November 14, 2007 at 9:45 AM. Reason : .]
11/14/2007 9:42:01 AM
^what he said. Its not much but it all adds up over the span of a year. Plus computers and consoles (not that i've bought a console this year but I did buy a new computer) so all that stuff adds up in the end of the day.
11/14/2007 9:49:19 AM
nurrrrrrrrr
11/14/2007 9:58:04 AM

11/14/2007 12:14:22 PM

11/14/2007 12:34:36 PM
golovko: that was a nice nade stick, but did you see the one on that same board where some guy threw it long like that into the air jump thing and it feel on someones head? that one was crazy.
11/14/2007 1:03:01 PM

11/14/2007 1:08:40 PM

11/14/2007 2:20:11 PM
another impressive nade stick. not sure which one is more impressive though lol
11/14/2007 2:58:27 PM
11/14/2007 10:54:34 PM
agreedthey do not track nearly as well as they did in 2but if you get people who will just run straight at you (not as rare as you'd think), you get easy kills with it
11/15/2007 7:59:55 AM
needler is the perfect ambush weapon, by the time your victim know's they're being shot they're already dead.only other thing that can kill that fast is a grenade-BR combo
11/15/2007 9:20:26 AM
we need to figure out who is best halo 3 player on tww
11/15/2007 10:59:50 AM
as far as best sticks go, i think this one is near the top:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFyYRKSgi4g
11/15/2007 11:05:49 AM
^^judging by those videos, id say it has to be golovko
11/15/2007 11:46:25 AM
I'm on a break from Halo to play COD4, but I'll get back on the wagon whenever the new maps come out
11/15/2007 11:48:06 AM
11/15/2007 1:16:45 PM
http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=14484523figured out how to upload my map so you guys can play and tell me if its fun or if it sucks
11/15/2007 1:19:20 PM
also i just noticed the "heatmaps" on bungie.netthat's pretty cool
11/15/2007 1:22:13 PM
I read the description and about including Hornets, while they're fun, bungie had mentioned that they thought they were overpowered in multiplayer which is why no maps have them.I'll be interested in trying it all out though.
11/15/2007 1:23:36 PM
yeahi tried to balance it by including banshees and spartan lasers for defense, because hornets are pretty much flying warthogs, with rocketsi think it would be fun to play 4v4 at the leastanything less and you cant really take full advantage of the map's offeringsthe gauss warthogs are also pretty insane....rate of fire and firepower is almost unfair[Edited on November 15, 2007 at 1:28 PM.
