You are an idiot if you think a team won't give him a shot.

i'm sure he'll get a shot as a #3 receiver or to return kicks

but he'll never play quarterback again

unless he goes to the aforementioned arena football league

I agree, I don't think he will play QB again. But someone will throw him in the backfrield, or make him a receiver.

The PR backlash would discourage most teams from signing him. Honestly, what GM wants PETA and other animal rights activists picketing his facilities? I mean, besides Al Davis?

who would want him as a running back though? when its obvious he is gonna run, unlike scrambling out of the pocket, he will be easy to target. and its not like hes gonna be a threat to pass out of the backfield...we all saw how that went for him.

I think he could do well as a receiver also with his speed. And a RB as fast and quick as he is would never be easy to target

He isnt as fast and quick as Vick though.

I think he would be better suited as a WR or return man though.

I'd be stunned if he does anything this year. Remember how slow and fat Jamal Lewis was after doing a few months in prison?

His job this year is to just learn the system, get himself back into football shape, and maybe provide a spark on a few trick plays over the course of the year.

I though that people typically get stronger in jail, right?

Maybe, but my hunch is that inverted pushups on the wall of your prison cell is a step down for a professional athlete with the best gym equipment and personal trainers money can buy whose job is to work out and stay in shape.

Quote :
"NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Michael Vick, the star National Football League quarterback whose career was sidelined by a dog fighting conviction, has reached an endorsement agreement with athletic equipment maker Nike.

"We have re-signed Michael Vick as a Nike athlete," said Megan Saalfeld, a Nike spokeswoman, in an e-mail to CNN.

Vick, currently on the roster of the Philadelphia Eagles, served 20 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to bankrolling a dog fighting operation.

The conviction cost him a $2 million endorsement deal with Nike and a 10-year, $130 million contact with the Atlanta Falcons.

He has since emerged as a spokesman against dog fighting.

"Michael acknowledges his past mistakes," Saalfeld said. "We do not condone those actions, but we support the positive changes he has made to better himself off the field."

Vick signed his first post-conviction deal in January, when he sealed a two-year contract with Unequal Technologies, a company that makes protective athletic gear.

He had worn Unequal apparel after suffering a rib injury against the Washington Redskins in the 2010-2011 season."
