I am selling my 2000 YZF 600R Jordan Motorsports Replica Bike. I am selling because I am moving to florida and can't take it with me. This bike has 12,000 miles and runs flawlessly. R1 tail conversion, R1 Texas Fairing undertail with led turn signals, D&D slip-on, Polished lips and body matched rims, (truly polished, not just the paint stripped off) Skarkskins race upper with CBR 600RR head light lenses with projecter lights, Daytona steering stabilizer, 14/49 vortex sprockets, RK 530 chain, and brand new frame sliders. When I bought the bike it already had road rash on the right side. Bike was laid down at about 30mph. That was about 5,000 miles ago and it is all cosmetic damage. It is easily repairable since it is fiberglass material. I have had no experience with fiberglass which is why I didn't fix it myself. Again there is absolutely NOTHING wrong mechanically with this bike. The only thing is the scratches. Since purchasing this bike I have never dropped it. The fork seals just got replaced about 2 months ago. I will be getting a full service done soon with oil change, and all fluids. The chain has been regularly sprayed. Call me at 919-749-4742. Price is at $3,500 neg. Here are pics of damage:
6/27/2006 4:51:26 PM
i can do the oil change and flush all your fluids whenever you are ready to do it if you are not trying to do it yourself
6/27/2006 4:55:26 PM
thanks for the offer but I just dropped the bike off today for routine fluid checks.
6/27/2006 6:03:58 PM
its all good just trying to save you some money while earning me some for my beer
6/27/2006 7:25:12 PM

6/30/2006 7:45:42 PM
yes they are good starter bikes in generalif you end up gettin the 700 dola one i prolly can get it running top notch <$100
6/30/2006 7:58:57 PM
so the owner has 2 gs500's? Maybe you could get a 2 for 1 kind of deal. If you can talk the price down, not a bad starter bike. Value should be about 2000.http://raleigh.craigslist.org/mcy/177414117.html[Edited on July 1, 2006 at 12:51 PM. Reason : starter bike]

^^ Correct. Although... I would trade a weekend on my Rockster for a weekend on Uma. ^^^ The R1200GS is a sweet bike. I did a test ride at the Capitol BMW open house and there's a good change I'll own one some day, after I graduate and I'm making some real money. To get back on topic... the '89 has been sold, but the '90 GS500 is still avail... at least till this evening Hello Steve,Thank you for your interest. It's funny because I just sold the 89' GSto a guy from Charlotte this past weekend. The 90' GS is still availableat the moment, but just to let you know I've got two potential buyerslined up to take a look at the bike this evening. As a little history, I purchase the bike off of another guy about 2months back in PA. The bike was used for commuting according to him. Ithas 15,000 miles. It is in perfect running condition with a greatsounding full exhaust system. Upon purchasing the bike, I've changed theengine oil and replaced the filter and flushed the front/rear breakfluid. The bike was dropped on it's left side while my friend waspushing it up my drive way. The left engine case was scratched but hasbeen painted over with flat black paint. The only mechanical problem is that one of the engine head cover bolt isstripped. It is not a big problem because the bike will work fine withit, but if you'd like to fix the stripped bolt, I've purchased a HeliCoil repair kit that you can have.I'm selling the GS's because I have 4 bikes in my hands (3 as of lastweekend). I simply don't have the time nor the energy to keep up withall the bike maintenance and rather be out riding instead. If you have any additional questions please feel free to give me a callon my cell: (610)--------Thanks again for your interest!Mark
