Boots are fine, but put on some black tightstoo much with that matching color[Edited on January 5, 2012 at 10:00 PM. Reason : it almost looks clownish with the large polka dots, vibrant color, and matching vibrant tights]
1/5/2012 9:51:48 PM
The tights, boots, and dress are all black. Sorry the photo doesn't reflect that.
1/5/2012 10:00:49 PM
it looks purple lol[Edited on January 5, 2012 at 10:03 PM. Reason : if its all black, you're good....gah that's wild how NOT BLACK it looks]
1/5/2012 10:02:20 PM
that dress is black? are you sure?
1/5/2012 10:04:52 PM
I am 100 percent sure it's black!
1/5/2012 11:50:26 PM
camera flash (or other bright lighting) + a reddish black = purpleplus you're seeing the contrast between black leather and black fabric

question about tights...i have some footless tights that are black. i'd like to wear them with a dress & heels but im concerned about how much the exposed ankle "dresses down" the outfitalso what if the dress is 3/4 sleeve? i don't want to look like my clothes are to small (exposed ankles & forearms) & all choppy like
1/6/2012 10:05:24 AM
^ would need a picture, bc it depends, but by the sound of it it might look like all your clothes shrank in the wash.
1/6/2012 10:07:30 AM
how long is the dress and how high are the heels?
1/6/2012 10:09:31 AM
it all depends on the cut of the dress and the style of your shoes
1/6/2012 10:11:22 AM
ugh DETAILSi will take some pics so we can come to a conclusion
1/6/2012 10:33:08 AM
i think footless tights and hooker heels are cute in general

I want some hipster glasses. I'm leaning towards the first one. DECIDE MY LIFE LADIES
1/6/2012 4:06:42 PM
1 or 4 if you're going for hipsterreminds me...I need to order mine from Warby Parker this weekend
1/6/2012 4:08:40 PM
IMO the 2nd pair look the best, 1st and 4rth (while more hipster-esque) are too big for my taste... the trend is sort of , but they all look good on ya
1/6/2012 4:23:29 PM
Get #1DO IT
1/6/2012 4:36:30 PM
Anyone up? I need new undies! My ass is shrinking but it is still big. I need comfy drawers, cuz I run around after children all day. Will be wearing them under jeans mostly.
1/7/2012 12:40:15 AM
I know they're not the most popular by ANY means, but I have discovered (and LOVE) Aeropostale's undies!!! Mainly their bikinis.....but I would say stay away from the briefs, thyey look more comfy and like they would cover more, but they LIE!!!! hahaYes, they are younger looking and not very adult-like....but like I said they are soooooo comfortable and you can get 3 for $12. Just another option.
1/7/2012 8:09:26 AM
I LOVE Hanes hipsters! They're cotton, super soft, hold up better than any other underwear Ive had (used to only wear VS), and come in a billion different colors & patterns. They have them at target. 3 pack for $8ish. I buy out the outlet store's supply when we go to Smithfield too.
1/7/2012 8:44:13 AM
They are stupidly overpriced, but I LOVE the under armour undies. Particularly the mesh boy short and active hipsters. Very comfortable and don't ride up (ever!).
1/7/2012 8:54:30 AM
Where do I get the under armor ones? And hanes are one of my staples. I will look at aeroposttale, but im not sure if i can wear them. I barely fit in to their jeans. Big ass and hips are not in style.
1/7/2012 9:44:55 AM
I too love Hanes hipsters. Also used to only buy VS, but I have seen the Hanes light.I still buy VS bras though but it's been awhile. Still nursing so I have pea in the pod nursing bras which are sooooo comfy. the target brand do not fit me as well, but I have some of those too.
1/7/2012 9:47:13 AM
Before I got too fat to wear them, I lived in Victoria Secret's cotton bikinis.
1/7/2012 9:47:26 AM
^^i left VS bras when the straps started making my skin break out in a rash. i now buy only maidenform t shirt bras
1/7/2012 9:48:49 AM
I pretty much exclusively wear Champion's C9 seamless sports bras from Target.Yes, they squash my boobies down and give me a uniboob, but I don't care. They're just too comfy.
1/7/2012 9:51:45 AM
i am partial to aerie. I love their hipsters
1/7/2012 9:52:43 AM
I really like Gap Body underwear, though I only ever seem to buy them out of the clearance bins (so about $2.50 a pop).
1/7/2012 10:44:35 AM
I'll be going out shopping soon! I think I will try to get a pair of hanky pankies, like db19 suggested, and then a pair of those under armor ones, and then a pack of hanes. I'll try out the fancy ones, and if I like them I'll get more next paycheck.
1/7/2012 11:04:37 AM
I could never find a pair of underwear that fit correctly/didn't ride up/no VPL... so I just stopped wearing them. It works for me since I wear gym clothes 99% of the time and pants with cotton gussets are easy to come by. Also, I ordered the first pair of glasses. Should be here in 2 weeks!
1/7/2012 2:32:57 PM
I need to try GAP body panniesI keep wanting to get a pair when I'm there, but I always say no. Next time I'll check them out
1/7/2012 2:43:08 PM
I just got glasses for the first time in my life, and I thought I was super dorky at first with them, but now I kind of like it. The frames I got were some deep red Versace ones from LensCrafters. My eyes are ridiculous though, apparently one in nearsighted and the other one is farsighted? [Edited on January 7, 2012 at 4:39 PM. Reason : .]

How do the under armours run size wise? Id like to order a pair. I got a pair of warners (super comfy) and a two pack of barely there (pretty comfy) at kohls, and two pair of hanky pankies, one with a wide band and one with a normal band (possibly my new favorites), at dillards. The wide band was not worth the extra dollar bucks. The regular hanky pankies rock, and hopefully I will still be singing their praises tomorrow after wearing them at work for 6 hours tomorrow.
1/7/2012 8:07:02 PM
Yay I'm glad you like them!!!
1/7/2012 8:20:51 PM
It took FOREVER to find them. Finally found one table at dillards. If they are still comfy after work tomorrow I am going back to buy a three pack. My butt will be happy...my wallet will not.
1/7/2012 8:23:41 PM
Check online for sales. I never buy them full price :-)If you keep them out the dryer, they'll last forever. I'm bad about that which is why I bought like 7 new pairs recently.
1/7/2012 8:29:31 PM
Do I need to use that fancy under britches detergent on them?
1/7/2012 8:31:13 PM
If you have it, use it. If not just make sure you put em in a laundry bag and just hang em up to dry.
1/7/2012 8:38:44 PM
Whoo just got 2 $180 dresses, a jacket and a top for 135
1/7/2012 8:45:08 PM
I am going to be my cousin's maid of honor this summer. She doesn't care too much about my dress so long as it's floor-length and navy. David's Bridal dresses suck (not a blanket statement; I've looked at all the ones they have now and don't like them), but I am hoping to not spend a ton more than their price range on one (so like $100-150). Any recommended places to look? And on a funny note: http://www.simplydresses.com/dresses/dress_by_event/military_ball[Edited on January 7, 2012 at 8:55 PM. Reason : .]

^^good deal^that's so scary because of the different shades of navy....I would have just picked a designer and let them find the dress they like But you should hit up a tux rental place that also sells bridesmaids dresses....I almost bought a dress from Savvy for the Jimmy V this year....it was a ball gown and was only $180 so I bet you can find a good gown for 100-150http://www.savvincgowns.com/I almost got this dress in black....I kinda still want it http://www.morilee.com/bridesmaids/bridesmaids/261[Edited on January 7, 2012 at 9:03 PM. If the wedding is more casual and summery , and if you wait a couple months the fantastically comfy cotton maxi dresses will be back in the stores. I am sure you could find one in navy.
1/7/2012 8:56:40 PM
I'm not stuck on $150 or anything, but I know long gowns can get pretty $$, and since she doesn't really care, I don't want to try to break the bank. I do need to check with her before I just go out and buy one, but she pretty much said she trusts me since she isn't too much of a girly girl to care about which dress we go with. I don't know if she has a particular shade of navy in mind, but I doubt it.[Edited on January 7, 2012 at 8:59 PM. Reason : don't want to go cotton. I would love to get one I can wear to the Marine ball in November too]
1/7/2012 8:58:08 PM
Ah. The prom dress stores in the mall should be opening up pretty soon. You could check some of those out.
1/7/2012 9:01:05 PM
From Diva's lead, I like these
1/7/2012 9:22:54 PM
1 and 3 (only because I don't like halters...though that one isn't awful)1 seems like Skwink the most
1/7/2012 9:24:52 PM
I just sent her a list of ones I like. Also included these:
1/7/2012 10:01:10 PM
Ohhhh that black one shoulder dress is my winner! So cute
1/7/2012 10:04:59 PM
The very first one, the navy one in the second set and the black one shoulder! They will also look excellent on you, lovely Tara.]
