Raymond transferring would be the most likely solution. There's no way he gets minutes with Brown/Lewis/Purvis/Graham in front of him

if we get a center like neal and a PF like randle next year, we could be in pretty good shap for the future

Tip top shap, indeed.

So, how many recruitment followers are now 0/2, saying "Leslie/Graham decommitted, they ain't coming back, that never happens....."?
12/22/2011 11:17:25 AM
probably just as many that think you are a faggot
12/22/2011 11:18:35 AM
is TDT ever gonna be a solid contributor for us? I could see him or Raymond off the roster next year
12/22/2011 11:18:45 AM
I think Randle would fit in wellNormally I would have concerns about taking the #1 player in the country but I think if we get him we could be in good shape
12/22/2011 11:20:11 AM
yeah #1 players would totally suck. I'm so glad we never get them

So, can someone explain to me how Zo, Lewis, Wood, Purv and Graham all share time in the back court next year? Not trying to be shrewd, Im just a bit curious.
12/22/2011 11:59:50 AM
3 guard system, wood, graham, and harris can all play some at the 3[Edited on December 22, 2011 at 12:05 PM. Reason : ]
12/22/2011 12:03:02 PM
to be fair I don't think lewis is going to be a huge contributor next year...he'll play, but I don't think we'll see him in the main rotation..but who knows
easy.wood will continue to play every minute of every game at the 3, b/c he's a fucking stud despite what he looks like.brown and purvis will be our first two guards, lewis and graham come off of the bench. they're freshmen, they don't have to log 30 minutes/game.]
12/22/2011 12:03:51 PM
unless purvis can play point as well, then you will see a fair amount of lewis[Edited on December 22, 2011 at 12:04 PM. Reason : .]
12/22/2011 12:04:00 PM
and we do use a 3 guard offense..so that does bode well for the guys we have.it will be nice to give scott wood and lorenzo a breather sometimes
12/22/2011 12:04:15 PM
^^ i'll make any reasonable wager with anyone on here that brown is our starting point guard next season, excluding unforeseen circumstances. Jaybee1200 will handle the transaction.dude's averaging 6.4 assists and 3.1 turnovers per game, but people don't like it b/c scout.com didn't call him a "true point guard". get over it.]
12/22/2011 12:06:19 PM
People complaining that we have depth. This is why we don't (usually) have nice things...[Edited on December 22, 2011 at 12:13 PM. Reason : ]
12/22/2011 12:09:06 PM
brown will def be a starting pg next year, and lewis will be his primary back up
12/22/2011 12:12:37 PM
I still think TJ Warren ends up playing the 4 spot -- maybe not right away, but eventually. With his height and jump shot, he'd be deadly in the high-post offense. Our bigs are getting lots of open looks at the free-throw area.
12/22/2011 12:16:53 PM
Not complaining guys! I'm just trying to look into the future and dream of dunks, lobs, put-backs, and what not.
12/22/2011 12:17:13 PM
also, dubcaps, that pic is awesome
12/22/2011 12:18:00 PM
12/22/2011 12:31:52 PM
Honestly I think you could throw any 3 of those guys on the court at any given time and be fine, I wouldn't be real worried about it
12/22/2011 12:35:19 PM
Lewis will probably play sparingly next year. 5 min or less in conference play almost for sure. He's not ranked high enough to make me think he's ready to play as a freshman anyway and he's got a nutload of talent in front of him. We've got quite the logjam and Purvis/Lobo will need at minimum 30 mins each I would think. Graham and Warren will get 10-20 mins depending on how ready they are and Wood will still get 25-30 mis.No room for Lewis next year but he's already said he doesn't mind waiting his turn. Sub top 50 recruits have no business seeing the court in the ACC as a freshman. We're just not used to that because we haven't had legitimate rosters in so long.
12/22/2011 12:38:20 PM
I don't understand why people keep thinking Wood is a guard.
12/22/2011 12:39:14 PM
^^agreed on everything except calling Brown "Lobo"
12/22/2011 12:41:34 PM
I didnt realize Torian had been downgraded so much since he decommitted. Rivals has him 4*, #51 overall now.So he's probably closer to the 8-10 min projection and Warren still around 10-20 min depending on how ready he is.And Scott Wood basically is a guard. He stands around the 3 point line and he's allergic to rebounds. He's essentially a third guard already. He's not going to move to PF that's for sure so his minutes are up for grabs theoretically.
