One angle of the Kirk murder I had not seen discussed much was how big a shot across the bow of performative political podcasting this was. These days there is an entire media strategy for podcasters to harp on little division and apply purity tests to everything. It helps differentiate you in the market and builds a follower group which is how you eventually build media clout, which apparently is semi-lucrative and can be directly leveraged into political power.

It seems like a lot of performative podcasters (on the left too), many without the security that bigger media and politicians have, sat up straight when they realized some of their more psycho followers have made the tiny divisions their entire personality. The followers slipped down the slope that the podcasters spent all their time greasing such that they are now ready to kill over an ideological purity test. And all they need is a little range time with Dad and access to Grandiddy’s rifle, and they can murder you too.

^ was way more than broken glass in Santa Monica. Half the businesses there were still shut as of last year. They let drug addicts camp in the sidewalk so little old ladies had to walk in the street around them. I even called in a dead one in front of our house a couple of months prior to the riots.

I’m pretty sure my child’s teacher uses a ChatGPT equivalent for every response they have to my inquiries. I don’t like that. I want to hear what they have to say, and I want to see how well they are at, you know, grammar, since they should be teaching my child those sorts of skills.

There's a post where I used ChatGPT to explain a concept it was clear thegoodlife3 was unaware of because I didn't have the time to explain it and was trying to keep the train of the main point on the track. He uses that to cite that every post I make is ChatGPT.

Separately, TGL seems to have a general stick up his as about AI and AI tools and tech in general. Which is actually fair. Given the dystopian hellhole that is 2025 and the promise/resources that went into tech since 2010.

I didn’t 100% trust the old FBI, and I certainly don’t trust the new FBI. I wouldn’t put it past them at all to take those casings and do the etching themselves.

I didn’t buy into the deep state theory, but I always figured there were a few bad actors on the inside (acting alone or with very little assistance) before Trump, and I feel certain there are bad actors now. I wouldn’t trust this FBI or CIA any further than I could throw them.

Also, for what it’s worth, it’s possible the shooter could’ve thought that van was full of agents and not detainees. I don’t think we’ll find out the truth.
