0EPII1, how's your $500 investment that returns 10%/day going? It's been almost 3 months.

$500*1.1^80 = $1,024,200.11

You should be a millionaire by now. I guess we all owe you an apology.

Anybody in DeFi?

I have been making a lot of money in DeFi in the past few months, and I am about to make so much in the next 2-3 years my face is melting at the thought of it.

Anybody who is in crypto but not in the DeFi subset of crypto is losing out big time. Anybody not in DeFi is.

I have seen people become multi-millionaires in 9-10 months starting with $10k, and even millionaires in 2 years starting with just $1k. I know some of these people personally now. I also see poor people in villages in India, Egypt, Philippines, and many other countries turning their lives around after getting into DeFi.

I am in several DeFi projects now that will each give me $0.5-1.0 million over the next 1.5 to 3 years, and I have multiple wallets in each project.

These are not small projects with unknown devs, rather, projects with famous devs and many thousands of people in them and they have massive Telegram/Discord communities.

Just to give you one example -- prepare to have your mind blown:

I got into Splassive (token: $SPLASH) at project launch on March 12 with 1 AVAX ($75 at the time), and I have already pulled out $1,120 since then. Initial token price was $2.50, and now it is $35. ATH was $53. I have a locked deposit value of $4,211.249 and a max payout of $15,160.496 (current values copy-pasted from dashboard). The project returns 2% per day of your deposit value, which you can claim or compound. People can't pull out en masse and tank the project, as everybody's deposits are forever locked.

Such projects are called "ROI projects" (permanently locked deposits) in DeFi. DRIP is the original, a year old now. I am in the following ROI projects:

*Drip
*Splassive
*My Diamond Team
*Piston -- launching this Sunday, and the hype is way bigger than it was for Splassive!!!

As mentioned, they can't tank overnight like a hyped "buy and HODL" token can. These are not stupid meme coins.

Piston is expected to do 5x at launch, but the token price doesn't even matter in the long run, because in ROI projects you receive 1-2% daily, which is how you make the money. Go ahead and calculate the APY if you dare and know how to. Hint: for 1%: 1.01^365.

DeFi is all about making a passive income, and good DeFi projects make generational wealth.

I have spent literally around 2k-3k hours since August (just calculate how many hours/day that is) researching DeFi projects, learning a boatload, and dodging scams. I ditched my traditional "buy and HODL" crypto portfolio (made it last April), sold it in Jan, and put it all in DeFi. You know why? Because from April to Jan, it did nothing. I had all the top coins, but the value remained the same for 9 months. Up and down so many times, maxing out at 1.5x, going as low as 0.5x, but in Jan it had the same value as last April.

Well now I am going to make 100 to 1,000x+ in the various projects, and all within 1-3 years.

If you want to get in, DM me and I will hold your hand and show you the way. I have been doing free Zoom calls teaching random people for a few weeks now. I have helped hundreds on Telegram, and continue to do that for hours a day. I just set up my own Telegram group now, and I expect many to join in the coming weeks.

If you don't know what DeFi is:

I mean, I guess you can "make money" from these schemes, but it's just pump and dump stuff. Where is the underlying value? Someone's always going to be a bag holder.

And no, I'm not going to bother to research this to see what I'm missing. It's plainly evident from a high-level view that this isn't a legitimate way to profit.

I don’t know what defi is. I am hardly an expert on real money, let alone this internet money. But isn’t one of the first rules of investing that if somebody promises you insane returns that seem too good to be true, it’s because it is in fact too good to be true.

Yes.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decentralized_finance#Errors_and_hacking

Quote :
"Coding errors and hacks are common in DeFi. Blockchain transactions are irreversible, which means that an incorrect or fraudulent DeFi transaction cannot be corrected easily. For example, in 2020, a platform known as Yam Finance took deposits equivalent to $750 million within days of its launch before crashing because of a coding error. Additionally, the code for the smart contracts is generally open-source software that can be copied to set up competing platforms, which creates instabilities as funds shift from platform to platform.

The person or entity behind a DeFi protocol may be unknown, and may disappear with investors' money. Investor Michael Novogratz has described some DeFi protocols as "Ponzi-like".

DeFi has been compared to the initial coin offering craze of 2017, part of a cryptocurrency bubble. Inexperienced investors are at particular risk of losing money because of the sophistication required to interact with DeFi platforms and the lack of any intermediary with customer support.

In 2021, half of cryptocurrency crime was related to DeFi. This rise has been attributed to a combination of developer incompetence and non-existent or poorly enforced regulations. Theft from DeFi can come from either external hackers stealing from vulnerable projects, or "rug pulls", where the developers and influencers promote a project and then take the money, as a form of pump-and-dump."

If anybody wants to participate in a truly safe non-scam investment with a guaranteed (nominal) return, create a TreasuryDirect account and buy up to $10,000 of Series I US Savings Bonds (per person) before the end of April. You will earn a 7.12% return for the next 6 months and a 9.62% return for the 6 months after that. Need to hold for a year. Redemptions before 5 years forfeit the last 3 months of interest. Best deal going. Unfortunately all this is doing is maintaining purchasing power on cash, but hey, better than losing it, right?! Tell Uncle Sam The Coz sent you for a special bonus of 0.00% extra return!

It's definitely clunky, but it's the government. It's legitimate. It's just not what you'd consider modern design choice. Also, if you register, they have a crazy navigation system. If you accidentally double-click anything, or if you click your browser's back button, it will throw an error and will kick you out. You just have to get used to this and to reprogram your brain. But the good news is once you get it set up, you only have to use the website once or twice a year unless you choose to check in more.

Billionaire Crypto CEO Explains DeFi Farming… Sounds Exactly Like a Ponzi Scheme

Mining Capital Coin CEO indicted for allegedly running a cryptocurrency pyramid scheme

https://www.cnn.com/2022/05/08/business/pyramid-scheme-mining-capital-coin/index.html

Quote :
"Mining Capital Coin, or MCC, is a cryptocurrency mining and investment platform. Capuci, who is from Port St. Lucie, Florida, allegedly misled investors by selling "Mining Packages," promising substantial returns from mining new cryptocurrencies in what MCC described as their international network of crypto mining machines, according to the DOJ press release.

According to a US Securities and Exchange Commission complaint filed last month, Capuci sold mining packages to more than 65,000 investors since at least January 2018. The group promised daily returns of 1% for up to a year, the SEC press release says.

But instead, the DOJ alleges, Capuci diverted the funds to his own cryptocurrency wallets. MCC netted at least $8.1 million from the sale of the mining packages and $3.2 million in initiation fees, which funded a lavish lifestyle, including Lamborghinis, a yacht and real estate, according to the SEC complaint."

Controversial stablecoin UST — which is meant to be pegged to the dollar — plummets below 30 cents

https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2022/05/11/terra-ust-stablecoin-dives-below-1-peg-luna-cryptocurrency-down-80percent.html

Quote :
"The two main tokens from embattled crypto project Terra went into free fall Wednesday.

TerraUSD, or UST, plunged to as low as 26 cents. The so-called stablecoin is meant to maintain a 1-to-1 peg with the U.S. dollar. It was last trading at around 68 cents, according to Coin Metrics data.

Sister token luna, which has a floating price and is meant to serve as a kind of shock absorber for UST, at one point dived to less than 90 cents before recovering slightly to $1.18. The coin has lost roughly 96% of its value in the past seven days, and now has a smaller market value than its stablecoin counterpart."
