Who should i start, Kyle Orton @ TEN or Chad Henne vs. NE?
10/2/2010 1:57:26 PM
^I'd go with Henne. He looked good last week and so did Brandon Marshall. I'm still struggling with my QB situation...Orton (@Tenn) or Flacco (@Pit)...both tough D's. orton's been better on the year, but Tenn is probably the best D he's faced.
10/2/2010 9:51:53 PM
saints activated their practice squad rb this morning, wynn or somethingwonder if ivory is worth a start?other options:pick 2:shonn greene @ buffdarren mcfadden houcris ivory carbrandon jackson detjonathan steward no[Edited on October 3, 2010 at 9:10 AM. Reason : i'd probs go with orton and vomit when flacco scores more]
10/3/2010 9:08:00 AM
McFadden all day long. He is like the 3rd best back in the league right now
10/3/2010 9:17:52 AM
that was my clear choice.. who makes the #2 :pmy rb situation has been in interesting spot this year
10/3/2010 9:19:12 AM
thats tough- I can't advocate greene (I think LT has established himself there), I don't know anything about Ivory, but with brees banged up, it could be a running day there... don't know what he is gonna do. Jackson is iffy as it looks like he is not the running back there, but the receiving back (and I don't know how much they will need to be throwing it against detroit). Stewart is always a viable option, but you gotta wonder who is gonna get the TD- him or williams. After all that consideration, Ivory might be a good start, but it could be a gamble (then again, stewart and jackson would be my next choices and they are gambles too)----------------------------------------------------------------Ok, has anyone heard any more news on S. Jackson's groin injury? If he isn't gonna go (and maybe even if he is) should I play Tolbert or Beanie Wells? I feel like since matthews is back, he will get more carries, but tolbert is still gonna be the goal line guy.
10/3/2010 9:49:02 AM
McNabb or E. Manning?MJD (who's done nothing) or Green-Ellis?
10/3/2010 10:10:21 AM
^MJD is going against a weak run defense, so I think this will be his breakout game (I really hope I'm wrong though because I just replaced sanfrans defense with indys). B/w the qb's, its tough- no telling what mcnabb will do when he goes against philly for the first time. I would probably play him over eli myself............................................................................still wanna know what I should do about the Steven Jackson/Wells/Tolbert dilemma. Also, my fiance is in a league and knows I post on here and wanted me to ask for her if Collie is going to play today. I told her I think he is, but i'm not sure he is gonna have the game he had last week. She also thought about picking up TO. I told her I can't make that decision for her (especially since I'm in the same league as her), so she asked me to post on here so she can lurk and get yalls advice - oh yeeah, she said she would drop moreno for TO (she has Chris Johnson and RunDMC starting and ryan matthews and forsett on the bench, so she definitely isn't hurting at RB)

10/3/2010 11:26:38 AM
Who do I sit this week btwn:Beanie Wells vs SDJustin Forsett vs StLBenJarvus Green-Ellis vs Mia
10/3/2010 11:29:44 AM
^^haha yeah, I keep seeing different thingsI have him in 2 leagues and I'm gonna start Leon Washington over him in one of them. The problem is I don't reaaaally like Tolbert or Wells... WHY'D HE HAVE TO GO AND HURT HIS WEINER???^I'd start Ellis and forsett[Edited on October 3, 2010 at 11:34 AM. Reason : devrevev]
10/3/2010 11:33:41 AM
Anybody going to play Ray Rice today? Also Schaub at Oakland or Henne at NE?
10/3/2010 11:34:53 AM
i disagree, i'd start beanie over forsett^ and i am sitting Ray Rice today[Edited on October 3, 2010 at 11:35 AM. Reason : .]
10/3/2010 11:35:28 AM
I know wells looked decent in his first week back- but forsett finally pulled away to prove himself the number 1 running back in seattle. if it's ppr, i'd definitely consider forsett
10/3/2010 11:38:35 AM
Does anyone think Steven Jackson will be effective this week, or do you expect him to go out injured? I could put in Joseph Addai in his place, but he's never as effective.
10/3/2010 11:47:57 AM
^ I am suffering the same decision...I am having a hard time thinking he will do much, but being thin at RB plus bye week means my only alternative would be Kenneth Darby or picking up a John Kuhn off waivers.
10/3/2010 11:51:14 AM
i think khun will have a good game actually. And yeah, pretty much everything I've posted (that hasn't been specific advice for others) has been asking about Jackson... bottom line is no one knows- I am starting leon washington over him in one league (where we get return yards), but I'd have to start tolbert or wells in another league, and I am having trouble making that decision
10/3/2010 11:54:16 AM
what's the feel for andre johnson?
10/3/2010 11:55:24 AM
either he plays and is completely shut down by Asomugha or he won't and won't get you points anyway. Being slightly banged up, he is gonna be getting all the attention of Asomugha (arguably the best cover-man in the nfl) and won't get you many points. I think if you have any other feasible options, go for themI mean, he is andre johnson, so you can't count him out completely, but I really am not liking his chances this week fantasy wise-----------------------------------------------------------another non-jackson question: I'm actually contemplating starting johnny knox over steve smith (car). Am I wrong? [Edited on October 3, 2010 at 12:00 PM. Reason : e]
10/3/2010 11:58:12 AM
Devin Hester or Legedu Naanee?andEddie Royal or Mike Wallace?
10/3/2010 12:00:46 PM
that's where i was leaning toofortunately i've got hakeem nicks on the bench, so i have the luxury of waiting until right before the 4pm games to make a decision.just hate benching a stud [Edited on October 3, 2010 at 12:06 PM. Reason : ^ i like naanee there, but dont know abt the 2nd one]
10/3/2010 12:00:48 PM
yeah, it sucks- I'm thinking of benching steve smith for knox, and it pains me to have to bench jacksonyeah, I like nannee and i'd probably go royal... that second one is just a personal preference though[Edited on October 3, 2010 at 12:08 PM. Reason : vreverv]
10/3/2010 12:01:57 PM
I picked up Jackson's backup and started him. I hope I don't regret that move.
10/3/2010 12:05:32 PM
Jackson, Best, and Rice are all active this week... I don't know what kind of workload they will get, but they are active at least
10/3/2010 12:07:23 PM
Do I gamble on turf toe and start Jahvid Best, or replace him with Jabar Gaffney / Marshawn Lynch / Ryan Torian?
10/3/2010 12:12:44 PM
tough RB call:J. SNELLING v. SFORJ. Stewart @ NO...leaning stewart for now, but feel like Carolina may not even score
10/3/2010 12:12:58 PM
Stewart would be the safest betStart 1Ray Rice vs PITR. Brown vs NEJarvis Green-Ellis vs MIA
10/3/2010 12:15:51 PM
^^Yeah, I like stewart^I like brown and Ellis- Brown I think will have a break out game, and ellis will be good too- but Sammy Morris could really sour your milk, so consider that a slight gamble
10/3/2010 12:21:08 PM
yeah I'm leaning towards Brown as wellKeller vs BUFCooley vs PHI[Edited on October 3, 2010 at 12:22 PM. Reason : Keller's been Sanchez' s fav target so I'm leaning towards him this week][Edited on October 3, 2010 at 12:23 PM. Reason : plus they are playing BUF]
10/3/2010 12:22:21 PM
I like keller... I'm having trouble not starting him over tony gonzalez in my "non dallas clark" league
10/3/2010 12:23:24 PM
Miami, the new Buffalo
10/3/2010 12:23:34 PM

10/3/2010 12:24:12 PM
^^^^^^^ Stewart and its not close^^^^^^ Rice if he's healthy, if not Brown^^^^ Kellerand from earlier
10/3/2010 12:24:26 PM
I'd go Gaffney as a safer betas far as Ray Rice goes, PIT is only allowing 60 yards per game on the ground and he is not 100%[Edited on October 3, 2010 at 12:25 PM. Reason : .]
10/3/2010 12:25:02 PM
^^they were just talking about best's running style and how turf toe is gonna really hurt him. I really don't like any of the other options though (if i did have to start someone, it'd be gaffney)^^^ wow, those are some gambles right there- every single one of them... I think khun is gonna have a good game, but green-ellis could have a good game too (but like i said- sammy morris could really piss you off). and stewart is really hit or miss... it depends on who they give it to at the goal line (saps likes to call him a vulture). And I don't know anything about Ivory[Edited on October 3, 2010 at 12:29 PM. Reason : e]

Lane Moore, Devery Henderson, or Demaryius Thomas?
10/3/2010 12:30:16 PM

pprsteve smith (car)orhakeem nicksmark sanchezormatt schaub
10/3/2010 12:34:14 PM
That's a tough one^ Deverey Henderson used to piss me off when I had him on my team last year, that's all I can say about that one. What about:Maroney vs. TitansGreen-Ellis vs. Dolphins
10/3/2010 12:34:44 PM
^^nicks and (what am I smoking) sanchez^i could go either way there... I'm starting to like the gamble on ellis though[Edited on October 3, 2010 at 12:37 PM. Reason : ewve]
10/3/2010 12:36:32 PM
ya thats how i was leaning in both cases
10/3/2010 12:37:15 PM
Schaub^ And that's a tough call with the receivers. Usually Steve Smith doesn't have two weeks where he sucks backtoback so maybe he's due?
10/3/2010 12:37:41 PM
Benjarvus or Steve Smith (car)?
10/3/2010 12:37:58 PM
shonn greene vs buffaloorjacoby jones vs oaklandnon ppr standard espn scoring
10/3/2010 12:40:55 PM
accd to ESPN, Rams didn't suffer anything by listing SJax as active. They had enough people inactive already that leaving him active didn't impact their roster flexibility. So, just as likely he could not play as before they named him active.
10/3/2010 12:41:20 PM
Login Temporarily UnavailableThanks, ESPN. Looks like I'm starting Pierre Thomas this week.
10/3/2010 12:41:56 PM
^^^you need Johnson to play for jones to have a good game- otherwise he will have split coverage by Asomugha (I still like him more than greene)[Edited on October 3, 2010 at 12:44 PM. Reason : d]
10/3/2010 12:43:36 PM
I've been offered Anquan Boldin and Clinton PortisI'd be giving up Darren McFadden and Michael CrabtreeCan someone evaluate this? Would you do it?

no. definitely not
