I paid for A-List, and answered all 3700-ish of the questions (minus the 20 I skipped). Anyways, I asked OkCupid what the deal is and I'm filing a chargeback with my credit card (which I will cancel if they restore my account).

I don't think the problem is necessarily that they'll see your answer, it's how it will affect your match percent.

The problem I see with OKC is that I found myself answering many questions, and on only a handful of them (maybe 10), I might actually care how a potential match answers. Those would be the big questions - do you believe in God, do you believe in sex before marriage, that kind of stuff.

I always had the thought that someone could just answer questions in a dumb way (or a different way from me), possibly placing too much emphasis on insignificant issues or too little emphasis on important issues, resulting in them seeming like much less of a match than they actually were.

^The major problem with the questions is that most people don't understand that they are basing the importance on what you would say not on how much they are affected. For example:

Could you date someone who is messy

Answering yes to this could cause someone to think that you are messy even when you are not. Maybe you are neat but just out of habit.
