^^the cereals, yogurt, and v8 may have coupons you could use...probably not on the rest of the stuff though

^^ yea i told her others had done it so she called customer service, who then called the manager. the cashier told me it was coupon fraud and I was trying to do something illigeali told the cs lady i wasnt trying to be a pain but i know others had done it and when i was getting my items other people in the store were doing the same thing and i had already seen one lady leave who was talking to me in the store and used the same coupon and she didnt have a problem, but i was not commiting coupon fraud or trying to do something illigeal, the cs lady then told me that changing the amount of the coupon is fraud and illigeal and would cause the cashier to lose her job.the manager then pointed to the coupon and said one coupon per transaction, I said really and he handed it to me where I then read out loud to him on coupon per item(s) and he said oh.they wouldnt use them so i didnt get the items and left with the plan to stick to never shopping there.i was going to check their coupon policy but i dont know if it is even worth the hassle

you should have just gone to a different kroger. one time there was a wrong price for some vegetable thing i got... the customer service guy got me another one, and gave them both to me for free.
3/14/2009 9:35:06 PM
That sucksWere you trying to use 10 coupons on the rice snacks? B/c that might raise suspicion
3/14/2009 9:41:38 PM
Not that it matters now because it's so late, but I tried the Irish Spring tonight at CVS (FAECB week of 3/15) and it did not print ECBs, so I had to return it. I figured it wouldn't work bc it's a 3-day sale item, and this just further proved that if an item is part of a 1-day, 2-day, or 3-day sale at CVS that the sale does not get turned on early with the rest of the store.[Edited on March 14, 2009 at 11:36 PM. heard kroger has a 5 coupon for the same item policy
3/15/2009 4:18:41 AM
i had 6 of them but when she scanned the first one she said it wasnt taking it and it exceeded the value of the item. i took it to the manager but he defferred to the cs lady so i need to find their coupon policy online before i take it to someone further up
3/15/2009 11:39:52 AM
was that all you were buying?just rice snacks?it might have gone through if you had other items (not rice snacks) to eat the overagesAnother thing, just b/c somebody got a deal @ at a store doesn't mean that you will get the same deal @ another location. It really is up to each store's manager to either enforce the coupon policy or not. This is why on a lot of coupons sites when a deal is posted, it usually will say "YMMV" which means your market may vary. So just keep that in mind when couponing.
3/15/2009 11:56:11 AM
i had 8 rice snacks 2 boxes of gushers, part of the buy 10 get 5 deal6- coupons for rice snacks and .50 coupon for gushers, so 7$ worth of coupons for 12$ \kroger off maynard and high house^ other ladies in the store had planned to do it to, and one had already done it and gone back with her 5$ to do it again[Edited on March 15, 2009 at 1:26 PM. Don't knowDid you get the manager's name? If you call Corporate they might be able to help clear this up. A lot of the time though (like @ Target, CVS or Walgreens), corporate says if a coupon is questionable it is up to each store's manager whether they take it or not. There are certain buttons on registers that a cashier can hit that will accept the coupon. At Target, cashiers can hit the K1 button on their keyboards to accept the coupon and the K3 button to reject the coupon if the coupon beeps. If you do call corporate, I would mention that you saw somebody else doing the same deal w/ the same coupons and they went through no problem. A lot of times cashiers will make up their own coupon rules and completly disregard the coupon policy or maybe they weren't properly trained for handling coupons. Corporate needs to know if managers aren't properly following the written coupon policy or not training their cashiers correctly.I read a story a couple days ago about a Walmart in Greenville that decided to just stop accepting IPs which went complety against the coupon policy where it clearly stated you could use IPs. Somebody contacted corporate @ Walmart and they went in and re-trained the entire store and now they are accepting IPs.

3/15/2009 8:48:23 PM
I thought I read somewhere along the way that on Mondays somewhere they sold for 70 cents o 90 cents or something and I'm being lazy and don't feel like searching through 30 pages.

My mom was @ the Bed, Bath and Beyond in Crossroads last night and said they have started to carry cosmetics and shampoos. She asked (b/c she's a cool mom) if we could use manufacturer's coupons on those items....and the cashier said YES plus we can also use the 20% off any one item coupon that BBB puts outAnd at BBB, you can use as many of their 20% off coupons as you have items.
3/18/2009 1:40:45 PM

I just got back from Harris Teeter....All Lysol products are BOGO. So if you clipped this past Sunday (I think it was this last Sunday) you are in luck.I had 2 copies of each coupon and I pretty much got the toilet bowl cleaner, disinfectant spray, wipes, and all purpose cleaner free-.40 cents for 2. Cleaning supplies can be so super expensive. I can go through my book. I think I have some extra Lysol coupons if anyone else is short one. II ended up with pretty much 5 free bags of Chex mix. Thanks posting that they were buy 2 get 3 free. Also if you buy 3 Kellogg's cereals this week you get $2 off of a gallon of milk. I got 3 boxes of Smart Start and used 3- $1 off of any box of Kellogg Cereal. I love me some Smart Start. My husband sells collectible cards and I made a book. It is not as extreme as some, but when I shopped today it really cut my time looking through what I had.At CVS, Revlon is bogo. I used both coupons from Sunday's paper and got 2 lip gloss for 4.99.[Edited on March 19, 2009 at 6:20 AM. Reason : ]

I spend way, way, way too much time in the store flipping through- envelopes to find the right one- the same old fucking coupons every time I go through certain categories (razors, soups - two of the worst)So I re-did my coupons today, in a hybrid envelope/notebook system. I used a notebook with the double pockets in the cover, and sheet protectors to hold my envelopes of Qs. All told, I have 32 envelopes.cereal is divided into hot and cold; cold is divided by brand, since the aisles are as well, and it's a pain in the ass to flip through general mills and kelloggs coupons to get to post and quaker, and vice versa. So, cereal is - cereal; hot- cereal; cold; general mills- cereal; cold; kellogg- cereal; cold; post, quaker, othersSnacks are- snacks; cereal/granola bars, pop-tarts- snacks; chips, crackers, and popcorn- snacks; nutsToiletries is a category that's similarly divided (e.g., make-up, skin and lips, hair, dental), and household (cleaning - laundry, cleaning - dishes, cleaning - general, paper goods). Cereal is in one pocket, and snacks in the other. The envelopes are vertical, and slightly spread out so I can read the categories. For these envelopes, they're labeled on the front the same way out of habit, and then because of how I ended up placing them in the pocket, I wrote the category in the upper right hand corner, and so now they're fanned out.The smaller categories like baking, canned goods, sauces, sides, frozen, pet, medicine - each went into a sheet protector, and I used some leftover divider pages to divide them into food/non-food so I can flip through everything very quickly.Kmart this week will be a good test of this system, since I don't shop there regularly[Edited on March 23, 2009 at 12:16 AM. My question to you people....do you keep coupons to things you don't like or eat?I have been saving them and if I can get them close to free, I have been donating them. For example, I hate pop tarts. I have been getting cereal these last 2 months for less than 20 cents a box.
