They need to warn the crowd during the commercial break that if they can't "keep it civil" then they will be asked to leave. Kick some of those assholes out. It's getting ridiculous.

9/25/2007 7:19:28 PM
Dude, they asked the audience if dogfighting should be legal and it sounded the like the majority of them thought it should be legal.
9/25/2007 7:28:56 PM
look at who the majority of them arethey just booed when the guy said the people pretending he didnt commit a crime arent helping him, so that sums this bullshit up perfectly
9/25/2007 7:31:50 PM
actually i think it was a much smaller, but louder, portion that was pro-dogfighting. really i think the chick with the black hat and Vick jersey accounted for about 90% of the noise by herself
9/25/2007 7:36:20 PM
I've got to say that the columnist Terrence Moore was on point along with the white guy. Even Chuck Smith was good. The one guy that talked after the guy that rehabbed the images and perceptions of high profile people was booed for saying that he will likely be back in the NFL after he paid his debt to society, but wouldn't be playing for the Atlanta Falcons. No doubt that a lot of Falcons fans would welcome him back, but he was just saying that the trust between Vick and the Falcons organization, which includes the owner and team, had been severed. These idiots boo him for stating the obvious.
9/25/2007 7:41:15 PM
so is this gonna be re-aired anytime soon? I had no plans on watching it but I wanna see what all of you are talkin about now

10/15/2007 11:37:12 PM
Its all because Vick is a terrible passer
10/16/2007 12:12:00 AM
Vick would just throw it nowhere near the receiver[Edited on October 16, 2007 at 12:28 AM. Reason : sentence structlure]
10/16/2007 12:26:39 AM
well now he'll be the "receiver" if you know what i mean
10/16/2007 2:47:02 AM
I need to dig up the Falcons record over the past 5 seasons with Vick starting and their record without him starting. It looks like everyone's hard-on for Matt Schaub has disappeared too.
11/4/2007 1:36:16 PM

12/10/2007 11:32:03 AM
man he got off easyi know i know 2 years in prison is no cakewalk by any meansbut he was the funding of the operation i think he should have gotten at least 3 years
12/10/2007 2:31:02 PM
2 years is too much for a crime with no human victims. There are worse crimes that actually hurt people where you get less time.[Edited on December 10, 2007 at 4:21 PM. Reason : .]

^^^^ even better for vick -- Gambling laws are some the most wrong, shadiest laws this country has and exist for no other reason other than to protect state monopolies on gambling. If there were ever a reason to deserve a slap on the wrist, violating a fucking gambling law is that reason.[Edited on December 10, 2007 at 6:09 PM. Reason : .]

12/10/2007 6:18:01 PM
^which makes the steep fine an even better solution. As it is now, the state and taxpayers are getting screwed because we have to lock up vick. It will probably cost even more to lock vick up than a regular prisoner. All the state and taxpayers get in return is a punished vick? Who cares; that's a pretty hollow victory.[Edited on December 10, 2007 at 6:25 PM. Reason : .]

I would imagine fining any human being $20 M is unconstitutional. Now if they drum up something and call it restitution, or someone sues him, then I'm sure something could be figured out, but a flat out fine of that amount doesn't seem to fit. Either way, Vick's life is fine, if he wants it to be. He'll be out in time for the majority of the 09 season, if not all, we'll see how it all shakes out. I mean, which team in the NFL wouldn't want Vick as a backup, what's the going rate for the best backup in the NFL, 1-3 M. He can make that for 7 years, and live comfortably the rest of his life. He obviously can't be bankrolling his scholarly friends anymore or buying 250K cars every month, but he can certainly support his immediate family. Can you imagine if he writes a book? Another 5-7M easy, if I were him, I'd start on it now, assuming he can read and write. Bottom line is that if Vick wises up, he still will lead a life that 98% of Americans only dream of, he's just going to have to endure 20 months of Hell to do so, but who wouldn't do that?

Got a link for that?If it is true, then fuck. Thats some bullshit. I hadn't heard anything about that anywhere.
12/11/2007 4:58:04 PM
Thats from earlier in the thread, I'll see if I can find a linkBut apparently that is fairly common in surrounding towns and counties of lots of the larger dogfighting rings that they busted up...cause remember, this might seem like a manhunt for Vick since he's the posterchild, but Vick controlled one of 12 rings that was being investigated jointly in a large longterm federal operation...he just happened to be the most famous and recognizable face to the public
12/11/2007 5:10:04 PM
Vick is a geniusStole this from sign on san diego chargers forums
