How many people do you think have been converted here? I assume most think it's an act because of how you lead with it, and because you can be so combative and dismissive when discussing other topics. You'll make more headway simply living by example. Anyone here who doesn't believe the same thing you do didn't end up that way because they never heard the Gospel.

^^^We all deserve bad things, but Jesus left the splendor of heaven and made Himself nothing, lived a perfect life for around 33 years among sinful losers like us, and was lashed, crowned with thorns, nailed to a cross, and left to die in your place and take the punishment you deserve so you can be forgiven and have eternal life. He paid a debt you could never pay and you can have eternal life by receiving His gift of salvation. The incarnation and the cross erase any doubts about God's love for us.

^Be patient. Some missionaries serve in difficult places and don't learn of a single convert for years or even decades. One missionary never saw any fruit during his lifetime but after his death, the entire village came to faith as they reflected on his message and the sacrifices he made for them. God does not call us to be successful. He calls us to be faithful. But no one will be saved if you keep the gospel to yourself. As Paul wrote, "How can they believe in one of whom they have never heard? And how can they hear unless someone proclaims him?" Jesus taught us to preach the gospel to all creation and make disciples of all nations. Some here may have never heard the real gospel. They may have grown up in an atheist home, or in a faith plus works theology like most Catholics or a false gospel from Mormonism or Jehovah's Witnesses.

I was an atheist for a decade and mocked Christianity just as Mr. Green, Fred, Walter, Bullet, and BubbleBobble are doing now. It took hearing the gospel many times, spending time with believers, asking lots of questions, as well as the prayers of friends and family to come to a saving faith in Christ. For some people it is a slow, gradual process fraught with skepticism, anger, and resistance. I believe in the power of prayer and know from experience that sometimes many gospel seeds need to be planted. We never know when someone on here could hit rock bottom and cry out to their creator. It sounds like there are already those who ran out of hope and chose to take their own lives rather than explore faith in Jesus as an option.

Dear Heavenly Father,

All things are possible with You. We love You and trust You. Help us to wait on you and see what happens as we continue to be faithful and plant seeds. May You bring more people who will come to know the Truth and be set free from sin, shame, and the fear of death. We pray that we would choose faith over fear and walk in the victory You've given us. Thank you for my brother, The Coz, and the great sense of humor You've blessed him with. Help him to use his talents and intellect to glorify You this day and everyday. Watch over him and his family and help them to be on mission for You. Give them courage, grace, favor, and wisdom.

How would you measure effectiveness in this hornet's nest? How many TWW users have you led to Christ with your lifestyle method? And how many years have you used this method on TWW? I rest my case.

I would guess zero.

However, no one here is unaware of the existence of Christianity and its purported message. It's not accurate to compare this to a missionary living among some uncontacted tribe.

If I am to believe this online persona, it sounds like your conversion has been very impactful for you, and that's great.

I think you need to be open to the idea that beating people who are already well aware over the head with religion will at some point (we long ago passed that point here) be counterproductive to your stated mission. People need to be aware (complete), and then come to a realization through their own life experience as I assume you did if that is to be their path (pending).

Your view seems to be that the more reviled you become through evangelism, the better job you are doing. I respectfully disagree. You can selectively quote scripture that reinforces the narrative you have built, but if you are serious about bringing people around to your way of thinking, consider the net effects of your approach.
