I’m honestly afraid to say what I want to say, but if moron’s predictions come to pass, I will be among the first to sign up for any major resistance. Sure I call myself a conservative but I’m an American, who really appreciates that we get a change of guard every two, four, and sometimes eight years. Fuck with that and I’m done.

Yeah abuse of power is one of the highest crimes a president can commit

If presidents, who have very broad legal immunity, are interfering with every level of elections with threats of misusing public money and resources, it breaks democracy

This is how Russia is a democracy that votes but Putin gets 90+% of the vote— using this exact tactic and others.

At the federal level the principles of democracy and anti corruption are more important than kitchen table issues when it comes to impeachment. This is a hard sell. At this point Trump could only ever get removed if he stabbed someone on national TV and that’s a MAYBE. The fact that practically nothing is impeachable for trump is… not good. We already don’t have a real democracy anymore

he adds.

People laugh, and Trump tells them to:

“feel nice and loose”.
