Potter's getting sacked in the morning.

14 PL goals for Haaland already

*eyes* to the first half handball, then that weak shit given
10/9/2022 1:11:40 PM
Wow city played a game and Haaland didn't score!
10/11/2022 5:55:13 PM
Pep rested him so he can score two hat tricks on Sunday.
10/11/2022 7:53:05 PM
TAA is hurt so prob only a hat trick and brace (there's gotta be a term for 4/5/6 goals??)
10/12/2022 8:32:53 PM
But can Cancelo defend??Is the Haaland era over???Liverpool win even after being put down to 11 men!

Two strikes on Haaland goal predictions this year. I won't jinx him again.

Tottenham are the New York Knicks of English soccer.
10/19/2022 5:29:57 PM
I wanna know how Leeds can look so damn good on Sunday against Arsenal--dominating the second half and being a missed pk away from getting a point--and then be down 2-0 to Leicester today.
10/20/2022 4:08:01 PM
Marsch's style and tactics seems to work well against traditional big clubs but they seem to struggle against bottom feeders.
10/20/2022 4:46:14 PM
That would make sense if the bottom feeders all settled into a low block and his press and counter wasn't effective. This Leicester game has been up and down, though. Leeds just has no finishing quality and the passing in the final third is trash, which is not a shock. My guess is that the style just has a higher variance and so is more apt for up and down performances. The Chelsea/Arsenal games are the anomalies clearly either way. Aaronson looked good, though. This last week has been good for USMNT guys with Pulisic and Reyna both looking very sharp in their appearances as well.
10/20/2022 5:13:16 PM
jesus fucking christ
10/22/2022 10:25:06 AM
Gomez simply isn't a top half defender for our style of play, too many mistakes
10/22/2022 11:53:06 AM
I'll take winning the Premier League war over claiming victory in a head-to-head battle, though drawing or losing at Anfield every year sucks. Klopp seems better at motivating his team for the big matches like City and Barcelona than he is at psyching them up for clashes with bottom feeders.
10/22/2022 7:22:08 PM
Newcastle's summer moves have clearly paid off. Anyone think they'll finish in a CL spot?
10/23/2022 7:26:11 PM
There is buzz that Pulisic will go there in January. Could be nice depth for a run. I haven't watched much Newcastle this season so I don't know their winger situation.
10/24/2022 8:21:31 AM
^^anything is possible. This is my honest Top 4 predictionCity (they will win league), Arsenal, Chelsea, ManU. The last 2 are interchangeable, I think Conte has gotten all he can get out of Spurs and they are struggling. I think Newcastle could crash party but I think their depth currently may be an issue and the WC break will kill some of their players form (Almiron) I don't think Pulisic would be allowed to leave for Newcastle in the winter window, unless Newcastle grossly overpay the transfer fee. In the summer who knows. If Pulisic leaves in winter I see him going to Serie A not another EPL team.
10/24/2022 8:34:21 AM
City wins the league and I still think Liverpool can get to a top 4 spot but if we don't, I think we win the league next year without all the congestion of UCL/ World Cup et.
10/24/2022 9:05:56 AM
If I were Arsenal fan I would be concerned with what happens when they hit a rough patch (every team does). How long does it take to right ship?Liverpool could absolutely make top 4, but need a good run of form to do it. 3 teams 4 points or more ahead of you could prove difficult, just to get to 4. Chelsea, United, or Newcastle have better odds right now. Still a long season and no one knows what WC is going to do to players or injuries that could be picked up.I know Chelsea have a tough run up to the break. Have to win 1 of next 2 CL matches to qualify. Away Cup tie with City, home with Arsenal away at Newcastle. So thats Liverpool's chance to catch Chelsea, especially with the injuries that they currently have in defense.

Liverpool and RM yet again
11/7/2022 7:48:54 AM
FSG has put Liverpool up for sale. Liverpool get drawn against Real Madrid. Feels like Fenway Sports Group knows they can't compete with City, Newcastle, ManU, and Chelsea in Transfer market anymore especially when you add in Barca and RM.
11/7/2022 8:02:14 AM
Two colossal match ups in the round of 16. Hopefully PSG and Bayern still have their strong form after the World Cup.

Ronaldo did an interview with Piers Morgan and went scorched earth on Man United and ETH. Made Lukaku's interview last year seem tame.

11/14/2022 11:25:58 PM
Thats how you get your club reputation up, obviously City would say no, but its not like Haaland is doing anything over the next month.
11/15/2022 8:13:22 AM
With his recent injury track record (at Dortmund), that's not necessarily a bad thing.
11/16/2022 10:35:30 AM
RONALDO OUT!!!
11/22/2022 6:19:59 PM
Perhaps a good reason for Ronaldo to leave England, as he may not have many games left in his career. Not sure if match bans can be effective in other countries.
11/23/2022 4:28:12 PM
Basing this off absolutely nothing, I figure Munich is the obvious answer. He can claim a title in another country, have a decent shot at another UCL. No transfer fee, so they can pay him whatever he wants.Miami in MLS would be my next guess, if he really wants to just say fuck it and get paid MAX to ride off into the sunset.
11/23/2022 9:00:10 PM
No rest for the weary. City and Liverpool meet in the Carabao Cup on Thursday night. They're not exactly easing back in to club football after the World Cup.
12/19/2022 6:17:08 PM
In a match, neither team cares about at this point. I expect both teams will hold back.
12/20/2022 11:00:35 AM
Another City vs. Liverpool classic brewing at the Etihad.
12/22/2022 4:17:43 PM
12/22/2022 4:58:31 PM
Yea good game mixed lineups, I'd argue city played their two best players and Liverpool played their one best.
12/22/2022 5:15:50 PM
It only took eight years, but Ødegaard is finally living up to the hype. I don't even remember the name of the Barca prodigy they were exalting at the same time.
