the end of this Packers 49ers game could be good
1/22/2022 10:55:33 PM
AHAHAHAHAFuck Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.9ers for life
1/22/2022 11:12:22 PM
Fuck Aaron RodgersMuh 9ers
1/22/2022 11:22:19 PM
Good to see all the niners fans resurface
1/22/2022 11:27:43 PM
I thought I was the only one left, and an obviously fair weather one at that? Did you guys wanna talk about Westbrook some more in the NBA thread? There's like 4 people logged in right now, so this is awkward.
1/22/2022 11:39:21 PM
I was rooting for 9ers cause of Aaron Rogers vaccine stance. Now its time for Brady to hopefully fill up his fingers with more rings[Edited on January 22, 2022 at 11:48 PM. Reason : Oo]
1/22/2022 11:46:29 PM
I'm hoping for the Rams so that we can lose another heartbreaker in the Super Bowl, as is tradition in the 21st century
1/22/2022 11:49:01 PM
Can't believe the woke mob cancelled Aaron Rogers out of the playoffs
1/22/2022 11:53:09 PM
Actually I didn’t want Rodgers to win because I am assuming TB will win tomorrow, and I thought a GB/TB game would be most difficult challenge for TB in the playoffs. I hope Brady retires with at least 10 superbowl wins. Like super goat status
1/23/2022 12:15:53 AM
looks like the Rams game was the most difficult challenge for TB in the playoffs
1/23/2022 6:25:40 PM
Oh Tony Romo is on this game? No thanks I'll watch literally anything else
1/23/2022 7:07:01 PM
Josh Allen was pretty amazing on that drive. Wow
1/23/2022 9:30:17 PM
^^ you need commentary to enjoy a high scoring/exciting game? Some fan...[Edited on January 23, 2022 at 9:33 PM. Reason : .]
1/23/2022 9:33:39 PM
No, he detracts from the game he is calling. It's like sitting beside an annoying drunk guy at a bar who won't shut up.Also i turned this game on with 2 minutes left. That's about all the Romo i can stand. Also, I am not really a "fan" of any pro football team, so not really sure what you're getting at. I'm not going to sit and listen to some annoying dude ramble on for hours just to watch a game i don't particularly care about. It's the same reason i don't watch basketball games that Jay Bilas commentates. Hell i don't even watch when he calls state games.]
1/23/2022 9:41:39 PM
Alright, now here comes the most important play of the game - the coin toss!!! Fuck the NFL
1/23/2022 9:46:38 PM
you are an idiot who is going out of their way to not watch one of the greatest games of all timecongrats?
1/23/2022 9:47:11 PM
Helluva game
1/23/2022 9:47:32 PM
1/23/2022 9:49:29 PM
^^^i watched the most important part[Edited on January 23, 2022 at 9:50 PM. Reason : Obviously i am referring to the overtime coin toss, not the final 2 minutes]
1/23/2022 9:50:20 PM
NFL OT rules suck, he’s right. But this game is just incredible.
1/23/2022 9:52:23 PM
I think they are staunchly against the idea of taking something from college (overtime.) But I'd like to see them just play a full extra 15-minute period.
1/23/2022 9:54:30 PM
had to chuckle when I saw Bills backup QB Mitch Trubisky standing on the sideline
1/23/2022 9:55:48 PM
I know you don’t want to change the rules that would make ties even more common. So maybe just for the playoffs…but I’d like to see both teams get a possession in OT.
1/23/2022 9:59:28 PM
Saw a tweet that said OT should go until a team with the lead gets the ball back. Can't say i disagree. NFL OT is the absolute worst OT in all of sports. even worse than hockey shootouts.
1/23/2022 10:00:50 PM
1/23/2022 10:05:34 PM
1/23/2022 10:07:17 PM
^^ so what do you do in the playoffs when it's tied after that extra quarter? Play extra quarters forever?A large reason for the NFL's current rule is they want overtime to be as short as possible. Just playing an extra quarter will never happen.I think that idea is a good one with some minor tweaks. Like, of the first team possessing the ball doesn't score and the second one does - game over. But if the first team scores, the second team gets a chance to respond. If they do, the game keeps going with the same rule. Essentially alternating possession. Takes the advantage of the coin toss completely out of it. Uses the best part of college OT (alternating possession), while keeping the NFL style of a regular quarter.

What an amazing gameAlsohttps://www.theringer.com/nfl/2019/1/23/18194165/overtime-rule-changes

Don't like a sudden death overtime? Score in regulation
1/24/2022 8:22:31 AM
Of all the games to make that dumbass comment about
1/24/2022 9:50:48 AM
Entertaining game, not sure the NFL cares about the overtime rule. By comparison of professional sports and overtime especially in the playoffs.MLB - Extra innings both teams get at least one chance to batNBA - 5 Minute OT periods until their is a winnerNHL - Reg Season 5 Min OT still tied 3 person Shootout. Playoffs 20 Minute Sudden DeathSoccer - Reg Season NO OT ties allowed/ MLS Playoffs/Cup Competitions 2 15 Minute Extra Time then shootout if still tiedThe bad thing about Sudden Death in NFL is their are 3 Units (Offense, Defense, Special Teams) so their is a chance one of those units never sees field in overtime. Honestly each teams offense should get one possession, and then it becomes sudden death.
1/24/2022 10:26:02 AM
1/24/2022 11:32:54 AM
Lol. Wanna win in regulation? Shouldnt have left 13 seconds on the clock! Should’ve scored more than 16 points in the final 2 mins! Tough luck.
1/24/2022 11:36:37 AM
^or hold them to a FG. Football is physical. Both the NFL and NCAA OT rules are designed to end the game in as few plays as possible to reduce the chance of injuries.
1/24/2022 12:59:01 PM
Lol what
1/24/2022 1:12:14 PM
NFL just added an extra regular season game. CFB is gonna expand the playoff. Player safety is not their main concern. ^^(and I was being totally sarcastic about leaving the chiefs too much time)
1/24/2022 1:19:16 PM
1/24/2022 6:13:19 PM
Both defenses were gassed. The Bills deserved a chance to tie it in OT, but the rules in place screwed them.
1/24/2022 9:01:55 PM
Count me in with the "NFL OT rules suck" crowd. I wanted to see at least one more Josh Allen drive, but I guess you gotta blame Buffalo's supposed #1 league defense for letting Pat Mahomes do whatever he wanted 2x in a row. I think the Chiefs would roll the 9ers (should they get past LA in a semi-home game), so I'm rooting for the Bengals
1/24/2022 11:54:11 PM
I am getting really tired of seeing this "story" about Les Miles saying Jamar Chase should have been a DB that's been making the rounds on twitter the last few days. It sure seemed to me that it was some made up bullshit self-motivational tactic, so i did the bare goddamn minimum amount of research and i was right!Every major media outlet has put out a story on this bullshit and not one of them mentions that Miles was fired in September 2016, almost 2 years before Chase would even graduate high school. Even if this incident occurred (debatable), it most certainly was not when Chase was "coming out of high school." This is almost certainly another Russell Wilson saying TOB told him he'd never play in the NFL bullshit story and it's being reported as fact.In conclusion, I'm just incredibly tired of this lazy clickbait bullshit. Do better sports journalism.
1/28/2022 7:29:26 AM
this is the first time I’ve seen it mentioned anywhere
1/28/2022 8:00:42 AM
I haven't seen one article about this?

Tom Brady...NOOOOOO000000ooo
1/29/2022 4:06:53 PM
Now there’s a report that Tom Brady’s dad (lol) is calling the retirement announcement “unsubstantiated” lol wtf
1/29/2022 5:18:27 PM
If he does retire hopefully it is only for a year and then comes back and still does well
1/29/2022 9:10:26 PM
Mahomes was pretty bad in the second half.
1/30/2022 6:19:42 PM
If the Bengals win the super bowl, will they give Ryan Finley a ring? Without him being so terrible, they don't get Joe Burrow.
