i think usf brought in a lot of transfers and they expect to be improved from last year. but they still should not be very good. they were super ass last year. i think they'll maybe just be regular bad this year.

their QB is former UNC QB Cade Fortin...he's the dude that started vs State in the last game of the Fedora tenure (we won in OT).

Yeah hard to take much away from this so far. Our defense looks really aggressive and stout. But part of that is definitely the opponent. Seemed like it took some time to get the run game going, but it’s rolling now. Leary’s INT was real bad but he’s made some nice throws too.

Tldr; I dunno usf sucks

It's definitely our best team since the Finley/Chubb ones. Whether it's better than those teams will probably depend on Leary. And if he continues to run hot and cold, that's not necessarily a bad thing because he won't be an early flight risk

Yep(no cups or ice). The stadium is entirely cashless this season. couple wore masks while waiting to get in but not alot to be seen at all.

I'd say it was at least 2/3s full if not more. Masks were like 60/40 while out of seats. Crowd was good, they do sell drinks with chips/ice but only in the stands in the end zones.

I think upper end of 40k is a pretty good guess. The stadium really was mostly full. That picture floating around of the upper east side being empty was taken at a bad time, it was fuller for other points of the game.

60/40 seems generous on the masking side. I was in the student section so that probably skews things but I didn't see a ton. Maybe 1/10 tops, even when I was waiting for drinks

Running game looked really good. A bit slow to start, but the first time we had 2 players get >100 yards in a game since 2015. Devin's INT was bad -- ball should've been a quick, low pass instead of a high one and was placed short -- but it was also a good read by Hill, a former Auburn recruit.
