Trumps new guy for director of counter terrorism

Quote :
"Republican Joe Kent … was speaking with Greyson Arnold, a Nazi sympathizer.

Kent’s exchange with Arnold is all the more notable because just weeks later Kent’s campaign worked to distance him from Arnold after photos surfaced of the pair together.

Kent disavowed Nick Fuentes, a 24-year-old far-right white nationalist, after Fuentes endorsed Kent in the primary. … Kent tweeted in defense of Fuentes after he was banned from Twitter.

Kent’s website also features an endorsement from Arizona state Sen. Wendy Rogers who was censured by the Republican-controlled Arizona senate after she gave a speech to the white nationalist conference calling for public hangings."

Real people part of real groups with real plans making real public proclamations aren’t phantoms

The phantoms are the immigrants eating cats or dei pilots crashing planes or litter boxes in schools or vaccines causing autism or the water being kept from California, or literally anything else coming from the MAGA circle

From a practical perspective this line of attack about Nazis does not work, will not work. Its beyond played out. Reducing everything whether satire or nuance to Nazism is just plain silly.

Quote :
"This CNN article employs several political techniques to shape the reader's perception of Joe Kent and his campaign. Here’s a breakdown:

1. Framing

The article sets up a narrative that Kent is struggling with "associations with white nationalists and extremists." This frames his campaign as being defined by controversy rather than policy or other aspects of his platform.

The phrase "bogged down" suggests that these associations are a major hindrance, reinforcing the idea that his campaign is struggling because of them.

2. Selection and Omission

The article focuses on Kent’s past interactions with far-right figures but does not include any potentially exculpatory information, such as Kent's broader political positions or instances where he has actively opposed extremism.

For example, the article mentions that Kent removed calls to adjudicate the 2020 election from his website, but it doesn’t explore why he made that shift or whether his stance has changed.

3. Guilt by Association

Kent is linked to Nick Fuentes and Wendy Rogers, both of whom are presented as extremists. Even though Kent disavowed Fuentes, the article brings up an old tweet where he defended Fuentes from being banned on Twitter.

The inclusion of Rogers' endorsement, along with her past remarks, suggests that Kent is aligned with extreme figures, even though the article does not specify his response to her controversies.

4. Loaded Language

Terms like "white nationalist," "far-right," and "extremists" are repeated multiple times, reinforcing a negative characterization.

The phrase "Kent's campaign has been bogged down" implies that these issues are not just criticisms but major obstacles.

The description of the America First Political Action Conference as a “white nationalist conference” with “intense backlash” sets a clear tone about its nature without presenting any alternative interpretations.

5. Implication Without Direct Accusation

The article does not explicitly say that Kent supports white nationalism, but by repeatedly bringing up figures and organizations associated with white nationalism, it implies a connection.

The mention that Kent had a "brief call" with Fuentes and later defended him on Twitter, despite disavowing him, subtly suggests inconsistency or dishonesty without directly accusing him of supporting Fuentes' ideology.

6. Time Manipulation

The timeline of events is structured to create a sense of contradiction:

March 2022: Kent disavows Fuentes.

April 2021: Kent tweets in defense of Fuentes.

This sequencing makes it seem like Kent only distanced himself from Fuentes when it became politically necessary, even though his 2021 defense was about free speech rather than endorsement.

7. Emotional Appeals

The article references public hangings in the context of Wendy Rogers’ speech, evoking a strong emotional reaction.

The phrase "one of the greatest tragedies in human history" in Kent’s tweet is quoted without much analysis, leaving it open for interpretation as hyperbolic or inappropriate.

8. Undermining Attempts at Moderation

The article notes that Kent tried to "shift his campaign rhetoric toward the center," but immediately follows with a statement that his campaign is "bogged down" by extremist ties, implying that his centrist shift is either ineffective or insincere.

Conclusion

This article uses a combination of framing, selection bias, guilt by association, loaded language, and implication to construct a narrative where Kent appears tied to far-right extremism. While the facts presented may be accurate, the way they are arranged and the language used shape a specific political message rather than presenting a neutral account.

The issue isn’t just about 'tone'—it’s about how the article frames the facts, which influences how readers interpret them. While the events described may be factually accurate, the piece uses selective omission, loaded language, and implication to steer the audience toward a particular conclusion. A truly neutral report would include a fuller range of perspectives, rather than only those that support a critical viewpoint.

The facts are trump is surrounded by white supremacists and active white nationalists. It’s not isolated, it’s a pattern of behavior. The whole reason he’s in politics is because of his racism towards Obama— Fox News had him on daily where he told his made up lies about the birth certificate

The media does beat around the bush in their news articles which is why you see the strange phrasing (this is the basis of the NYT Pitchbot account), theyre more direct in op Eds.

Elon is even worse.

Quote :
"A staffer for Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency whose access to U.S. Treasury payment systems was approved by a federal judge on Thursday has links to a deleted social-media account that advocated for racism and eugenics.

The 25-year-old employee, Marko Elez, resigned Thursday after The Wall Street Journal asked the White House about his connection to the account."

Hating on H1Bs and says he wouldn't marry outside his race.

So Elon and Trump both have supported H1Bs and this is clearly H1B racism. Would you claim Elon and Trump are lying publicly and want some kind of H1B camps? Or are your white nationalist claims about other races? Why would they have Indians in the admin? Is it 4d chess to cover their racism?

In general, yes. I'm trying to understand what moron means by it and what the end game of a white nationalist is generally and Elon and Trump specifically. Like on the continuum of "my racism flares up in traffic" and curb stomping someone for walking in your neighborhood that is not the right color.

Is there an acceptable amount? Is it just the framing and structure of society? Is this original sin of racism our new secular founding myth? Do we have to acknowledge our white guilt in corporate meetings for society to be deemed just?

My model for Elon was autistic who seeks power so the trannies can't take his rockets away. That influenced what you are seeing happen now and I predicted it in the Elon thread. What's the "Elon is actually motivated by white nationalism" prediction?

Do I think Elon Musk or Trump are genuinely racist or harbor any real hate on a racial basis? No.

Do I think they have and will indirectly and directly use racism as a tool? Yes.

A tool for what exactly? Let's say 20% of the population is actually secretly racist. Do you think any of those would have voted for the Democratic party in the last 10 years? Why risk secret racist dog whistles and alienating the middle which is where you actually win elections?

Racism is a system not a character trait. Interpersonal relationships are a whole different thing. That’s a different discussion but racism to me is mostly about how fair access is to political and social power and wealth.

Elon musks goals are simple he doesn’t like non-white people and he wants to keep the wealth of America accumulated through slavery, Jim Crow, and social systems in the hands of European descendants (and rightwing Jews). Trump is the Same way although I think trump just likes anyone who praises him which happens to be the racists. It’s the main goal behind removing as many immigrants as possible and ending birthright citizenship. It’s why they keep spreading the lies about Great Replacement. The “pure” African American population has been slowly dropping so they don’t really care about Blacks (but the anti-dei stuff is going to make sure they don’t ever overcome as a group the barriers built during apartheid). It’s why trump does not appoint serious Black people to any political positions (or any significant number of Asians either)— Tim Scott is smarter than anyone trump has nominated and he’s practically been shut out.

The h1b stuff is completely irrelevant… thats like saying Hitler couldn’t be racist because he had a Jewish family doctor he protected. Its a fig leaf that he doesn’t even seem really committed to. As Harper’s bazaar noted in the 1930s article there were many Jews who liked Hitler just like we see Hispanic men and Arabs in America that like trump— his attitude and arrogance is appealing to them.

^ except that's not what racism is. This is why people can't take the Democrats seriously or trust them. Racism has a fucking plain as day definition, and you can't even apply it correctly.

Musk is plainly racist because he only likes white people.. That's essentially the dictionary definition of racism. It's got nothing to do with power structures or policies or any other social justice word salad bullshit that progressives like to throw out there when they want people not to recognize their completely vapid lack of deeper thought processes.

Trump probably is incapable of being racist, because he is so self-absorbed that he can't fathom loyalty to a greater group such as race; he is barely loyal to his own flesh and blood family. His entire world view is transactional, and there is no greater motivation to any of his actions than "what will get me more money/fame/respect."

^ nah thats not what racism is. Racism is a system. In all of the English language thats what the -ism suffix implies.

Colloquially people use the term “racism” when they really mean prejudice or rudeness or discriminatory or disrespectful

I’m not talking about the colloquial definition of racism, which does cause a lot of misunderstanding because people have their own ideas of what it means

But Elon musk is trying to reinstate his racist staffer. I was saying on Reddit this would happen... I stand by the N word prediction too.

Feels pretty well conclusive at this point that that the trump admin is trying to shift America to be a white nationalist nation. With very few non-white immigrants. And African Americans entrenched as an underclass to perform all the “Black jobs”.
