haha just two seasons, they had PJ Hairston, Marvin WIlliams, and Handoosh. LOL wow, its worse than i thought.
5/22/2017 9:14:15 AM
I'ma stop cheerin for muh Panthers cuz they brought back that Peppers!11
5/22/2017 10:28:21 AM
to be fair, gerald henderson is probably the third or fourth best draft pick they've made since they've been back.
5/22/2017 10:43:18 AM
^^ now you just trollin. One dude on 53 man roster, vs 3 players on a 12 person team (starters + bench), is obviously apples to oranges.Plus, the panthers went after Peppers because he was a freak of nature and tottally worth rostering for his production. The Horheels take up cap space with worthless garbage like Tyler Hansbourough because they know the ppl of charlotte love ther Tarheelz!I mean, the proof is in the pudding mr. twista.
5/22/2017 10:54:02 AM
Such petty grudges, HOOPS. You'd think you'd just enjoy some entertaining HOOPS instead of constantly bemoaning over where a fellow or lad chose to participate in amateur athletics. Sad!]
5/22/2017 5:22:27 PM
Uh, i think we can both agree that there has been no quality HOOPS to enjoy since the Baron Davis to Eddie Jones days...[Edited on May 22, 2017 at 9:10 PM. Reason : j]
5/22/2017 9:08:58 PM
Baron and Eddie played together for like a year. Perhaps you meant the Baron Davis to Jamal Mashburn years, when we were a Ray Allen 3 pointer away from facing the New Jersey Nets in the Eastern Conference Finals?
5/22/2017 9:16:45 PM
Those were days..... I went to every playoff game in Charlotte in those years, eating at Jock & Jills afterward. Those were the daysss
5/22/2017 10:04:05 PM
Fuck Jock & Jills. Assholes refuse to sponsor my softball team.

Getting rid of Belinelli is a plus, I'll take it. Even though Dwight Howard is old and busted.
6/20/2017 9:36:59 PM
getting rid of plumlee's 12.5m per over the next 3 years is huge. we get best player, best pick. Lose Belinelli, but jeremy lamb can fill his minutes. Howard's contract is pricier than plumlee's but it's shorter and we aren't doing anything in free agency until the marvin/mkg contracts run out anyway. Even if howard sucks, this is a no-brainer, winning deal for me.
6/20/2017 11:42:21 PM
Setting up nicely to take the local guys. DSJ, Kennard, Giles at 11, Bradley or Jackson at 31
6/21/2017 12:17:22 AM
i wish dsj dropped to 11, not going to happen. if hornets pick giles or kennard at 11 i'm not going to be happy. Kennard fills a need but not sure he's athletic enough to be anything more than a specialist. Can he defend? Giles showed nothing last year to warrant a lottery pick, injuries have already derailed his career. No way jackson falls to 31, I'm terrified Jordan will take him at 11. Bradley at 31 is the only pick I could somewhat get behind.
6/21/2017 12:32:21 AM
This makes Charlotte semi-relevant...if he stays a Hornet.Intriguing pickup as a casual NBA fan.
6/21/2017 1:53:41 AM
6/21/2017 7:28:26 AM
Upgraded personnel and pick wise. Solid deal for me.
6/21/2017 9:40:29 AM
6/21/2017 9:51:48 AM
Frank Jackson, yes. Justin Jackson, not likely---unless they take him at #11 lol
6/21/2017 10:18:14 AM
Justin Jackson is a late first/early 2nd round pick. His draft stick has been falling pretty consistently.
6/21/2017 11:02:39 AM
Getting rid of Plumlee was a plus. If they must pick an ACC guy go with Isaac if available or Collins.[Edited on June 21, 2017 at 11:13 AM. Reason : Justin Jackson at 31 is acceptable]
6/21/2017 11:13:28 AM
LOL Isaac will most likely be the first ACC guy picked.
6/21/2017 11:39:47 AM
We're gonna draft Purvis at 31
6/21/2017 12:16:54 PM
Nice. Gotta keep getting them UConn legends
6/21/2017 12:21:03 PM
So how disappointing are the two picks going to be? Any predictions? In typical CLT fashion I'll bet they take Kennard at 11 and Bradley at 31.
6/22/2017 5:20:08 PM
they haven't drafted a duke or unc guy since '09 - and that was Gerald Henderson, their only Duke draft pick ever. they haven't drafted a UNC guy since '07, and he was immediately traded. they have drafted 5 total duke/unc guys dating back to 1988...one of those 5 guys was brandan wright who was immediately traded, so really the number is 4 in nearly 30 years, with the last UNC players who were drafted and actually suited up for CHA being May/Felton in 2005. i also hate duke and unc. but maybe they draft more duke and unc players because duke and unc put way more guys in the pros than nc state.by my count CHA has drafted more than 1 player from these schools: 4 UConn guys. 4 Kentucky guys. 4 UNC guys. 4 Indiana guys. 3 UCLA guys. 2 Tennessee guys. and a buncha schools represented by just 1 pick.or, as ^^ points out, UConn jokes are just as applicable. Some people have trouble compartmentalizing college and pro sports. They probably have trouble in other parts of life as well.
6/22/2017 6:22:55 PM
LOL who said I predict it because of Duke and UNC? I'm saying they will make two bad picks. I could also easily see them going with Lauri Markkanan or Zack Collins at 11. Which I think are both busts.[Edited on June 22, 2017 at 6:31 PM. Reason : I have never alluded to that in any Hornets thread but please TT continue your shit]
6/22/2017 6:25:46 PM
6/22/2017 6:35:06 PM
If Dennis or Monk are available and CLT doesn't take them, they should just fucking fold
6/22/2017 8:19:51 PM
I think Monk is the dream pick for Charlotte.
6/22/2017 8:23:06 PM
This scenario could help. Bonnell says Knicks are taking the Frenchy. Kings to take a big with 2nd pick. Please don't fuck this up
6/22/2017 8:24:13 PM
Jordan about to fuck this up lol
6/22/2017 8:41:33 PM
Not that I think Monk is going to be anything but the 2 guard "6th man of the year" gunner-type who actually isnt that useful of a player but it would be very Jordan to pass on him for some turd low ceiling multi-year college guy
6/22/2017 8:45:11 PM
If it's not Justin Jackson they are doing it all wrong right?
6/22/2017 8:46:09 PM
man they lucked out^^ he's an elite scorer. elite scorers are very useful. [Edited on June 22, 2017 at 8:48 PM. Reason : .]

technically the Heat drafted Hairston and the Hornets drafted Napier and they traded
6/22/2017 9:30:31 PM
Well yeah, because the NBA has silly rules. Also Sacramento just "drafted" a UNC guy and a Duke guy. (or you would say Portland drafted them)
6/22/2017 9:45:02 PM
yeah so after watching this dudes highlights hes jamal crawfordwhich will make him one of the most fun players in the league to watch but ultimately not really effect much[Edited on June 22, 2017 at 11:11 PM. Reason : a]
6/22/2017 11:11:01 PM
nah
6/22/2017 11:16:31 PM
If Monk hadn't been there we might've ended up with 2 Dookies
6/22/2017 11:45:45 PM
we have no dukies, jackson's going to New Orleans. Jordan wanted to recoup some of the cash he's spending on dwight's contract so he swapped the 31 pick for the 40 for some cash

BREAKING NEWS:CharlpelHillotte BobHeelHornRams sign ex UNC Star to D-League teamhttp://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nba/charlotte-hornets/article164843892.html
8/1/2017 8:10:26 PM
This is why I can't pull for this team in it's current incarnation. They find ways to sign whatever UNC player is around regardless of need or ability.
8/1/2017 9:40:45 PM
it's the fucking DLeague who cares. but while talking about the DLeague...Greensboro traded for Cat Barber last year and he played with them for a while...but #narratives[Edited on August 2, 2017 at 6:30 AM. Reason : ff]
