Frankly, Im more scared of white people and their propensity for mental illness since it causes them to perform mass murder quite often. Oh, and because they are generally in positions of power and use it to their advantage. We should probably start mass incarcerating white people just in case they go mental.

tbh, white people colonized the globe, violently. I don't jump back in fear every time I pass one on the street tho.

I wish liberals and the POTUS would defend police officers half as aggressively as they defend Muslims.

After an ISIS shooting, the response is “This doesn’t represent ISLAM, there are many more peaceful Muslims than terrorist”.
After a police shooting, the response is “This IS representative of our RACIST society and police”. (Before due process even starts).

If an American shot up a Mosque, we all know the left would immediately attribute it to “Islamaphobia” and conservative rhetoric.

When anti-cop, anti-white crazies target cops, you can’t help but wonder if it may not have happened if the media/left didn’t create such a hostile atmosphere for cops so irresponsibly.

To act as if these headline cases are representative of the American justice system, to act as if race is the primary factor, is deliberate ignorance and it is absolutely irresponsible. That’s the divider in chief for you folks, can’t miss an opportunity to tell your voter base they are oppressed victims that need big government, or to mention that only big government needs the big guns.

The media didnt create the hostile atmosphere. Centuries of cops murdering covering up for each other and being overall corrupt mostly against minorities is what created the stmosphere. Dont get it twisted.

I'm a little bit troubled by the "RCXD inbound" police response to this situation. I wouldn't be as concerned if the cops used their bomb robot to detonate a bomb the suspect had built and placed in his own proximity, but that doesn't seem to be what happened here.

This was bound to happen eventually.

It doesn't make it acceptable, but it was only a matter of time before somebody got pissed off enough to start shooting cops.

I will say that as is often the case the media has done a disservice to the public by crafting a narrative rather than reporting the news. You pretty much never see anything about all the white people the cops gun down, but news outlets fan plenty of flames any time a black guy gets shot. I don't think they have any nefarious intent, but one gets ratings and generates talking head programming for them, one doesn't, so it's pretty obvious which one they'll cover. As a result you have black people angry at the police, and white people who should be angry at the police supporting them because they are blissfully unaware that this shit can happen to them too.

I mean, Dylan Noble getting shot multiple times while laying on his stomach by Fresno cops got very little coverage compared to Alton Sterling. This happened 2 weeks ago and only now has it received any real national coverage.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/dylan-noble-fresno-police-shooting_us_577efcdce4b01edea78d494d

Everything in that situation reeks of typical police bullshit coverup in action. He was reaching for his waistband, he refused commands to show his hands, he advanced rapidly (some trick since he was laying down by the driver's side door). The police chief already came out with the typical weasel word explanation.

I'm not trying to minimize the deaths of Sterling or Castile by any means, but people need to see the full picture. The cops are on pace to kill well over a thousand people this year, again. Last year over 1200 people killed by police. 12 murder/manslaughter charges. Zero convictions thus far.

Why? They neutralized the threat. You'd prefer they stormed the asshole with cops and risk more deaths? They gave him ample opportunity to surrender and he didn't.

"The media didn't create the hostile atmosphere" he says as he regurgitates the narrative spoon-fed to him by the liberal media.

"Centuries of cops... being overall corrupt" is quite a stupid statement, and proves my point. I guess if the media only discusses police when a white officer shoots a black felon, then you could come to this ignorant conclusion.

To be fair, part of the blame is on the nature of clickbait media. Racial tension, outrageous viral videos, it gets clicks... unfortunately this leads to an over-representation of extremely rare cases of police brutality. This itself isn't the problem though...

The problem is when a divisive racial element is deliberately exaggerated or even fabricated, and even worse, when it is perpetuated and validated by liberal politicians like the divider-in-chief. Again, I get that liberals have to keep perpetuating this narrative that all black people are victims and 2016 America is racist, it's just sad that all the brain-dead SJWs and other lowest common denominators actually believe these extremely rare cases are:

1. Cause for riots or protests
2. Representative of police or society
3. Proof of racism

If you actually account for violent crime, black people are shot less by cops than white people, but naturally, these facts and statistics ARE RACIST, and if you try to have a reasonable discussion about this with SJWs they don't have a leg to stand on (aka Bleep boop)

Quote :
" Racism goes both ways in this country"

I think it's laughable that even saying this common sense statement is met with "you're a racist" by the SJWs. Naturally though the actual definition of racism has been twisted by the left, now the actual use of the word is to try and silence anyone that disagrees with them on social policy, you racists.

No, I'm not. But the piss poor media coverage of police brutality and the focus on race is very much why the all lives matter crowd exist.

For those of us who have been yelling about police militarization, excessive force, and racial profiling for years it's very frustrating to see the media continuing to cover the problem in a way that makes it a wedge issue.

Everyone should be pissed about the way policing is done in this country, instead you have a bunch of white people who think this is a problem cooked up by the media and that black people are just overreacting.

Well, you could have a productive discussion about police brutality and policy changes, but I think it is way more productive to have a divisive racial aspect to it.

Even if more white people get shot by cops every year, even if black people commit much more violent crime per year despite only being 12% of the population, I think we should all base our opinion on a few viral videos and act like it is representative of reality. Also George Soros will pay you to protest if you are on the fence.

Dude, it's only just now getting attention because the video was just released this week, it's not some media conspiracy to promote only stories of black people being shot. There probably should have been even more coverage of it but it's been a busy news week.

That's because the statement is ridiculous. Now it's obvious that minorities CAN be racist, those racist individuals do not have any impact on society. Dude on twitter spouting "Kill Whitey" doesn't matter. Everyone CAN be racist, but only minorities are AFFECTED by racism. All institutionalized and systemic racism is against minorities.

^^ And ive seen mostly #BLM people on twitter talking about noble. Theres no #alllivesmatter group talking about it.

I asked an anti BLM person what should be done about noble and he said nothing, police kill people sometimes, its a stresful job, and people should stfu about it.

And what about that confuses you? The #ALM crowd is applying the same logic to everyone no matter what color the victims skin is. You know, because they aren't race-baiting divisive SJW racists.

The more I think about the police use of a bombing robot, the more I am uneasy about the whole thing. I am not going to go as saying the police shouldn't have done this... But something doesn't quite add up to me. I think it is putting us in a very slippery slope. Let's call this bombing robot what it really is, as it was used.....an armed drone.

It has already been established that police can use lethal force to protect themselves or someone else in immediate danger. The amount of lethal force to be applied by a robot is at best ill-defined. From police statements, they decided to use the robot because anything else would have placed officers in grave danger. That means to me that when the robot was sent in, the officers were not in danger. The robot certainly wasn't in mortal danger...it isn't alive. So functionally, from the police perspective, they killed the guy....no different from if they had put a bullet in his head. But legally and ethically, the police killed someone with a drone domestically, because they did not want to risk personal injury to themselves.

Also, plain and simply, our constitution protects us against cruel and unusual punishment. To me, getting blown the fuck up by a robot violates this protection.

^^^^, ^^^ posts I'd expect from someone who washed their dick off in their mother's mouth this morning.
I've said I think the Dallas police did a fantastic job. They were policing as active members of the community before the protests. During the protests, they weren't antagonistic, and looked to be there to protect their community's right to protest.

What I am questioning is the ethics and legality of using s domestic drone to kill a citizen.

i think most normal, not insane people are questioning the ethics of police using drones to kill people.

but hey, this is what the armed forces have been doing for years in the middle east. it was bound to make it back here to our militarized police forces eventually.
