"WTF is he doing on a fucking moped"

Mario Williams used to cruise around the sidewalks on a stand up motor scooter...it's common for them because its cheap and easy transportation.

As more details emerge it's looking like this is all just one big mix up...the kid that got hit has stated he's not that injured and it wasn't a big deal. His mother is the one blowing it up and trying to make it a bigger deal.

I think Shad comes out of this just fine...he may sit a quarter but that's about it. He wasn't drunk, high, in a car, driving illegally, speeding or anything that else that would be a serious offense. The kid was just mad that Shad didn't give him his name. And you dont have to have insurance on a moped like that.

This is a joke. FREE SHAD

Shad got onto the sidewalk because it was raining, a girl walking on the sidewalk wasn't paying attention and Shad swerved around her to avoid hitting her and hit the kid. Shad stopped to make sure the kid was ok, and he assured that he was fine. Shad told him where he lived and got on the moped to head home. A nosey security guard is the one who saw it and decided to get the police involved, not the kid. However, apparently when asked by the police, the kid denied that Shad had stopped after the accident. Just let it play out."

He hasn't learned, apparently. He'll be the type of player that will end up doing something so stupid as to bring the NCAA down on us. It really isn't a stretch. When the football team has a ton of people on it, and almost no one gets in trouble, and one guy gets in trouble repeatedly, you have a problem.

If this were his first time, totally different situation."

I have this weird feeling that Coach is going to kick him off the team for this.

If this is actually what happened, wouldn't that kid have to press charges?

^^^the city/state can press charges without the victim doing so

it was dumb, but it's not worth suspending him over, let alone kicking him off the team. as usual, the never-guilty TWW White Knights with their pitchforks out over any law breakin' whatsoever.

No, he wouldn't have had to press charges if a security guard saw it...he would call teh cops in that point and it would be like leaving the scene of an accident and someone catches your license plate number.

Mario would ride it down to Food Lion, Kmart, etc..walking would be out of the question.
It was so funny, you could hear that thing from a mile away because his big ass was bogging it down he had to full throttle it the whole time.

he's one of the best RBs to suit up for us and this is a traffic violation with a $500 fine, regardless of past fuckups - this looks to be a miscommunication.

^the charges will almost certainly be dropped.

Athletes have to be at tutor sessions, team meetings, practice, team meals, weight sessions, and class (atleast at most schools) in any given day. If you're late, you probably have to run laps.

On top of that they are probably running around like crazy at practice and probably do some prett massive leg workouts.

I'd say fuck walking if that were my schedule

no news? what do you mean...it's all but over at this point.

There's a reason why he was still allowed to practice today.

This is a joke...he can't be charged with failure to stop or leaving the scene when the guy IN HIS STATEMENT clearly says that Shad stopped but just didn't apologize.

Yeah sucks, but he's just been too much of a headache and its not good for the program.
I'd rather we go ahead and handle this than it becoming some sort of PJ situation.

Good news for him is he is academically on track and still in school so he can hopefully finish out his degree without too much drama

Yeah lets be clear, in a vacuum this isn't that big of a deal but with everything else going on its just adding up to too much. I don't get the feeling Shad is a bad guy but you can't keep someone who keeps getting into this much trouble around.

I'm sure the football staff didn't try to reach out to the kid, would've made it look like we coerced him or something.

NC State Shit strike again?

I feel bad that this will certainly jeopardize his pro career, and probably cause him to not finish his degree

in a vacuum he'd be getting one or two games. he's repeatedly screwed up though, and i'm fully behind doeren cutting him. we all know the rules are lax for athletes (especially really good ones) but shadrach has been an embarrassment to the team and the school.

all that said i don't hate the guy and wish him well; it's just a shame to see that much talent wasted.
