Second to last scene. Before Coulson's "nightmare"

Thanks. Yeah, i wasn't paying close attention at that point since the resolution had already taken place. I did look up in time to catch the dream.

I think Ward and Mae likely still had pent up adrenaline/rage and needed to let it out. They hinted at it earlier in the episode when Ward was smashing the punching bag, she said she could help him release his frustration, thought it was pretty obvious she was trying to suggest they hook up.This was one of the best episodes so far, mainly because they actually focused more on existing Marvel lore/characters/plots, instead of just random technology/threat. Wish they'd focus more on having it mesh in with the existing movies and/or Marvel Universe and have threats/characters that Marvel fans want to see.

My wildest hope is that we may one day see Taskmaster.

They have indicated they will have an episode that crosses over with Captain America: The Winter Solider since that movie deals so heavily with SHIELD. So hopefully we continue to see more integration of the show and movies over time. The show is cheesy at times, but honestly I find it to be a fun watch each week nonetheless.

omg Tahiti

So they just brought him back to life using technology and that's it? Why hide that from him? Why not just tell him "You died and we had to do some pretty crazy surgery on you but we brought you back to life. It was traumatic so we gave you a memory of something happier."
1/9/2014 3:04:39 PM
I can imagine , "hey we poked around in your brain with a crazy spider robot because you were dead" is a pretty tough sell for most people
1/9/2014 3:46:15 PM
Not necessarily, that's just the most advanced technology for the operation and it got the job done. Hell it even implanted a nice memory for him. Compare it to laser eye surgery or something -- "We're gonna shoot a super powerful laser directly into your eyeball and at one point you may even smell your own eye flesh burning. You will be awake for the entire procedure." It isn't too far off from the creepy spider thing. People don't care what the result is given the end product.Besides, they wouldn't have to go into that much detail regarding the specifics of the actual surgery. Just tell him that he did in fact die, they had to use some weird technology to bring him back, but they did it. If he asks more questions, tell him.[Edited on January 9, 2014 at 4:56 PM. Reason : ]

Wow. So I guess no life model decoy, huh?
1/10/2014 10:31:30 PM
I was hoping for something better.
1/10/2014 10:42:38 PM
I for one feel this show is consistently getting better each week
1/10/2014 10:55:29 PM
So what was that thing? One of those Elves from Thor 2? Might explain why Sif is gonna be on next week.[Edited on March 4, 2014 at 8:59 PM. Reason : EDIT: Wait, Colsen died before Thor 2, so probably not.]
3/4/2014 8:57:52 PM
a Kree, maybe? I don't know what G.H. stands for though in that case
3/4/2014 9:30:03 PM
havent seen Thor 2 yet, but at first I got my universes mixed up and thought it might be one of the things from Promethius
3/4/2014 10:42:27 PM
^^ Could be a Kree. Ronan the Accuser is apparently going to be in the Guardians of the GalaxySo this could tie into that movie a bit.

So Ward was pretty much raped on the last episode and it isn't even mentioned. What a double standard. If it had been a male Asgardian with the power to seduce any woman he wants and he used it to sleep with Sky, the media and women's groups and stuff would be all over it. Instead, Mae just punched him in the face like it was his fault. Aside from that, great episode. One subtle thing I'm glad they included-- when the SWAT team went to the Las Vegas hotel room, all members of the team were female. They didn't go out of the way to show it but I'm glad they did it.
3/16/2014 11:16:54 AM
It's okay because she was...
3/16/2014 12:14:54 PM
She was hot, yes. I wouldn't classify her as hot as fuck though.
3/16/2014 2:47:19 PM
Really good episode tonight that took place during the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Even the last scene completely caught me off guard. I'm actually looking forward to the next episodes for the first time in a while.
4/8/2014 10:25:17 PM
I was told that I should see the new Captain movie before watching this latest episode...is that true? I wasn't planning on seeing the new movie anytime soon, so I'll likely watch it anyway, just didn't know if it would really matter or not as far as the storyline.
4/9/2014 1:50:29 PM
Yes, see the movie first. This episode will assume you've already seen it and know what's happening. Although chronologically they both occur at pretty much the same time.[Edited on April 9, 2014 at 2:21 PM. Reason : there are movie spoilers in this episode]
4/9/2014 2:19:34 PM
^^ absolutely. This episode and the movie go hand in hand. Watching the tv show first will spoil the movie. If you don't care about that, than read a synopsis of the movie. But the movie was pretty good. It's a lot better than the first Captain America and as a look and feel much more like Avengers than the first Cap. movie.
4/9/2014 10:12:19 PM
I haven't seen the movie but I watched the episodethe only spoiler I think I heard as that Captain America won his battle against some enemy (shocker!)
4/9/2014 10:50:46 PM
There's a huge spoiler in that ep about what happens to Nick Fury in the movie. How did you miss that?
4/10/2014 7:32:17 AM
^I guess in watching the episode I just took it as a lie/false information.I'll end up watching the movie at some point, if that's the only spoiler then I'm glad I didn't wait. I heard the 2nd movie was better than the 1st, but I'm just not a huge Cap fan and the 1st movie did nothing for me, so probably just wait and catch it on DVD or when they start showing it on TV.
4/10/2014 8:15:33 AM
4/10/2014 8:07:45 PM
4/10/2014 9:47:49 PM
Yeah, I could see that I guess. Especially if you don't expect the show/movies to really stick together in cannon as they're released/aired.
4/11/2014 10:58:43 AM
So I like how the most top secret and secure Shield facility was a 100 floor tower in the middle of nowhere.Totally inconspicuous.
4/15/2014 10:20:36 PM
Haha, and just two guards with a sliding door at the top. There should have been anti-air missles and shit mounted to that thing, especially if it had all the technology Fury said he destroyed.
4/16/2014 11:21:49 AM
As expected, the "spoiler" from the movie was useless and glad I didn't miss anything by skipping the movie and continuing on with the show. Not sure why they thought the audience would actually think Fury was dead, esp. when they announced a few weeks ago that Samuel L. would be returning to Shield for another cameo soon.
4/17/2014 8:46:37 AM
^You didn't miss anything except for an awesome movie. If you like the marvel cinematic universe enough to watch this mediocre show (one that I admit is getting better and I will continue to watch), I don't see how you would not like the movie, even if you don't particularly care for captain America. The movie was more of a shield movie than captain America anyways, except for done a million times better than this show could ever hope to do
4/17/2014 8:58:36 AM
^I plan on seeing the movie eventually, just not trying to pay an arm-and-a-leg to see it in theaters.
4/17/2014 9:52:19 AM
broke bitch
4/17/2014 12:29:07 PM
^Nope. Just don't feel like paying $10 to see a movie I'm not excited about. Saw the first one for free at a screening, wasn't impressed at all so just going to wait on this one. This one seems to be better based on reviews, but I can wait.

4/17/2014 10:30:05 PM
Does Jeremy Renner, ScarJo or Samuel L Jackson make an appearance in the show?
4/23/2014 2:44:32 PM
Samuel L. Jackson did once and he will again in the finale or so I've heard.
4/23/2014 3:44:08 PM
when was he in the show?
4/24/2014 7:54:12 PM
Evidently one of the first few episodes in a cameo according to Wraith on the previous page.
4/24/2014 8:21:05 PM
I don't remember seeing him either...I do enjoy when they throw old Whedon actors into a role on one of his new projects. So far we've seen Amy Acker and Ron Glass.
4/25/2014 9:09:45 AM
According to IMDB it Samuel L. Jackson appeared in episode 2 "0-8-4"
4/25/2014 9:22:02 AM
^^and J August Richards

You probably turned it off too soon, it was the very last scene in the episode
4/25/2014 10:22:02 AM
I think last nights was the first episode I actually enjoyed
