Hulk Hogan tweeted a creepy pic of his daughter's legs then quickly deleted itThe most entertaining ones I follow on Twitter are Zack Ryder, Ziggler, CM Punk, Jericho. I also follow others like Piper, DDP (though most of his are just about his Yoga stuff), Hurricane Helms, Nash, HBK, Edge.[Edited on January 28, 2013 at 9:14 AM. Reason : ]

love the iron sheik.got a chance to talk to him in the Newark airport for a good hour while waiting for our flight. He has some great stories about doing coke with everyone...haha. That said, the whole "make you humble" thing is, for the most part, an act. It's a hell of a gimmick though. Here we are!IRON SHEIK NUMBER ONE

yay! more wacky, shitty sideshow tag teams!
1/30/2013 2:47:09 PM
apparently they are going to push this Wade Barrett/Bo Dallas feud hard. It seems they've completely scratched the IC Cup idea that was promo'd on Raw.

^^ Rhodes Scholars are pretty good. It's sad because I enjoy tag team wrestling. Wish it was more important. The picture of the Mountie reminds me that the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers (the Mountie is Jacques on the right) have the greatest theme song in the history of wrestling.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hn701jXWtkEFrom Montreal to Memphis Parlez-vous Français? Tell all the girls The Rougeaus on their way We're called pretty boys We're not a musclehead We hate that long-haired look We like the preppy look instead We're All-American boys All-American boys (x 2)We don't like heavy metal We don't like rock 'n' roll All we like to listen to Is Barry Manilow On peut pas les sentir Dans le monde ils sont les pires On aime les faire fâcher We love the USA! Agreed on Rhodes Scholars. I wish they didn't call every tag team "Team ____" The Rougeau theme song was great. I submit the American Males theme song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sj8lhGPCwZ4

I wish Rey was healthier, because I think they'd've given him and Sin Cara a run with the belts. Lucha tag champs could've been a lot of fun.

Speaking of the Rougeaus, a very fun match from SummerSlam 1989, commentated by Tony Schiavone and Jesse Ventura:The Rockers (Shawn Michaels & Marty Jannetty) & Tito Santana vs. The Fabulous Rougeaus (Raymond Rougeau & Jacques Rougeau Jr.) & Rick Martelhttp://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3kpyc_fabulous-rougeaus-rick-martel-vs-ro_sporthttp://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3kqmi_fabulous-rougeaus-rick-martel-vs-ro_sport

watching the Royal Rumble from this past weekend for the first time:-Jericho, YAY! -Santino eliminated first, BOO!-Goldust vs. Cody Rhodes (they should've had a short feud to put over Cody, sure both would've enjoyed it)-I hate David Otunga-I bet Albert/A-Train/Tensai wish he'd stayed Giant Bernard in New Japan-Brodus Clay got the Viscera "everyone gang up to get this guy out of the ring because it legitimately takes all of us to lift him out" treatment-Kofi jumping to land on Tensai's back was humorous, takes one shot from Ziggler, feigns being off balance and then obviously jumps to Tensai -the chair pogo stick spot though was good improvising, I think he was supposed to jump from the table back to the ring-THE HO TRAIN!-THE HO TRAIN GONE IN TWO SECONDS!-Khali is barely mobile at this point-cute way to eliminate the tag champs Kane and Bryan, I imagine they have to split them up soon for a possible Wrestlemania match between the two, on the other hand I feel bad for Bryan: year 1 at Wrestlemania - match with Sheamus - kicked off the card last minute to the preshow, year 2 at Wrestlemania - world title match with Sheamus - open the show and lose in 18 seconds, year 3 at Wrestlemania - match with Kane -ditto Otunga for Miz-even though he worked the whole match, Ziggler felt kinda anonymous, his 2 eliminations the whole night were a dropkick to Godfather and when he knocked out Jericho-they gave Ryback a lot, I imagine to make up for Cena beating him (Ryback's Wrestlemania feud is booked to be Jericho)-I'm going to have to remember how to hate John Cena being champion it looks, at least he's not had it for a very long time
1/30/2013 11:51:59 PM
to finish off my links for the night, this was rated a 5-star match by Dave Meltzer and voted Pro Wrestling Match of the Year for 2012 by Wrestling Observer subscribers if you're interested:Hiroshi Tanahashi (IWGP Champion) vs. Minoru Suzuki, New Japan's October 8th show from Sumo Hall in Tokyohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Vivbw88yVCkTanahashi in another lifetime wrestled some in TNA but he's now the top star in Japan. can someone explain WHY Kofi needed to use the chair like a pogo stick and not just use one leg to push himself back to the ring? I know it made for a better spot, but it seemed a lot more forced whereas his handstand spot made a lot more sense.
1/31/2013 9:01:22 AM
I read somewhere that he was supposed to jump to the ring from the table, but had to improvise when it was obvious that shit wasn't going to happen. I, too, thought at the time he should just hop on one leg back to the ring but it made for a decent spot.
1/31/2013 9:39:32 AM
Its like a SOW-UNA in here.
1/31/2013 12:33:36 PM
^^^ Once he made the audible to the chair, it didn't occur to me that he could use one leg. Probably didn't to him, either.I'm still not sure why he didn't get rid of the table cover. Obviously he had practiced the spot, so the distance should've been fine, but he was clearly worried about slipping on the cover. With all that said, if he was getting booted as soon as the spot was over, who cares if he doesn't make the jump?
1/31/2013 6:13:21 PM
I read on one of those boards, either LOP or NoDQ, that the table was suppose to be stabilized, but instead that piece wasn't there and it was ready to break away... jumping would have possibly just caved the table in and left Kofi on the ground. The one legged thing makes no sense though.... and it was obvious it was a blown spot by the fact that JBL, a heel announcer, was the one who gave his chair to Kofi. I actually thought for a moment they would go with the heel heat and have JBL push Kofi from the table...
1/31/2013 6:22:29 PM
I'm waiting for one year those "he's eliminated! no he's not!" spots to backfire. Accidental Royal Rumble eliminations are one of those things I look for. Alex Riley had one a couple years ago when he was supposed to be involved in eliminating Cena (in the runup to the Cena-Miz Wrestlemania match).Undertaker may not work Wrestlemania this year.[Edited on January 31, 2013 at 7:02 PM. 1/31/2013 6:52:07 PM
How does the one legged thing not make sense?
1/31/2013 10:47:50 PM
The beauty of JBL as a heel announcer is that he can play both sides. He can call Cole a stooge for yelling about the Shield interfering in the match, then put the Rock over like crazy as he lifts the belt. By the same token, he can give a face his chair to stay in the match, needing only to say, "I figured he'd blow it, and I wanted to see that" if Kofi makes it back to the ring.
1/31/2013 10:56:17 PM
^^ It does make sense. The audience wouldn't have been as impressed though.
2/1/2013 12:05:08 AM
By saying "the one legged thing makes no sense" I was implying the fact that he didn't just hop on one leg made no sense, since the rules are that both feet have to touch the ground.

2/4/2013 4:21:53 PM
While I am ecstatic that Bruno is getting in, and consider this the most important inductee since Hogan... there's no way that Sammartino can be considered the Babe Ruth of Wrestling. That's Hogan's spot. No disrespect to Bruno, but Hogan was on another level. That said, Bruno was great for his time. Also, look up Sammartino's later matches against Larry Zbyszko. Freakin awesome, and the origin of his nickname "the Legend"Not their best, but pretty good: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfFB0S-3bq4

Bruno Sammartino is Babe Ruth. Hulk Hogan is Barry Bonds. Ric Flair though is the Man, and to be the Man, you've got to Beat the Man! WOOOOO!![Edited on February 4, 2013 at 5:39 PM. Reason : /]

also..."I don't understand the purpose of second tier champions if you are just going to use them to put over random upper midcarders. Let them be kings of the undercard and keep them away from the established players"

Punk is such an awesome promo. His self-righteous indignation at being tied to the video incriminating him and Heyman last night was so good, he should've been a politician as his job in life.Ditto Heyman.I hope they at least have some team defeat Kane and Bryan for the tag titles instead of declaring them vacant when they have their inevitable split in a month. The return of Fandango vignettes!

some interesting talking points re TNA roster, from the guy that first broke the Penn State Sandusky scandal :http://www.wrestlezone.com/editorials/267507-low-budget
2/5/2013 12:11:09 PM
wtfyou don't get rid of a guy like Chris Sabinhe totally lost me there.I don't agree with keeping Robbie E, either. He's a decent wrestler with terrible mic skills and an AWFUL gimmick. He makes me turn the channel - which is about the most damning thing i can say about a wrestler.
2/5/2013 12:35:58 PM
I find Robbie E. super entertaining, but I recognize the stupidity there.Anderson is fucking atrocious. It took me a while to realize he floated on a brilliant gimmick in WWE for years (meaning I thought he could talk, and he can't at all).
2/5/2013 12:52:44 PM
when was the last time Sabin was on TV semi-regular? on his last match he got injured, but that was awhile ago, and I believe he'd only been back a month or so after coming back from his injury before that; his style isn't something that lends itself to longevity; his tag partner Alex Shelley is wrestling in Ring of Honor I believe and New Japan, so he can't reform the Motor City Machineguns anywayTNA's way of getting rid of talent is to just let their contracts expire it appears. They have let some people go in the past year that way: Scott Steiner, Ric Flair, the Pope, Alex Shelley, Eric Young. Devon's contract was up and then he came back. Just noticed something look at that list: I guess Jeff Jarrett is no longer considered TNA talent.[Edited on February 5, 2013 at 4:37 PM. Reason : /]
2/5/2013 4:26:59 PM
WCW also fired by way of allowing contracts to expire, except in the case of people who were horrifically injured in a WCW ring. Those people were fired via FedEx while they were in the hospital.
