Yep the nuggets got Karl'd last night. Their best player played 17 minutes while Jordan Hamilton, Evan Fournier, Wilson Chandler, and Corey Brewer played a combined 71. Unreal. Agreed on league pass. I'd rank the teams in this order. Must: OKC & LAKERS. Should: NUGGETSInteresting: knicks & rockets. Can't think of anyone else interesting enough to unseat those five. Possibly Chicago if rose was healthy. The clippers sorta bore me honestly. Miami too many blowouts and cruise control games.
11/1/2012 1:10:42 PM
Nuggets and clippers are the only two teams which never go to the finals.
11/1/2012 2:23:39 PM
bucks, kings, magic, grizzlies, and suns
11/1/2012 4:03:14 PM
^^^ Why do you hate Heat? They are gonna win their 2nd title probably.
11/1/2012 5:54:28 PM
I don't I love lebron. They play a lot of blowouts and win too many regular season games easily. Plus In the regular season I'd rather watch a more exciting offensive team like Denver or OKC
11/1/2012 6:31:39 PM
I don't like LBJ either. He has a pretty ugly face comparing with KB or MJ.
11/1/2012 10:00:15 PM

hahahahahhahahahahahif you have OKC-SAS on your tuner right now rewind to the end of the 3Q. Maynor hits a shot from well behind halfcourt and the announcer goes AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhthats one of the funniest sounds ive ever heard from an annoucer
11/1/2012 11:29:49 PM
Interesting that Harden was amazing without Westbrook but that Westbrook has been miserable without Harden so far. That doesn't really fit the narrative does it?

There are lots of online NBA broadcasting websites.
11/2/2012 11:04:05 AM
^^wow
11/2/2012 11:12:01 AM
harden with 45 points his 2nd game, in a win over the rebuilding hawkssolid fg% but a lot of bailout foul calls and a horrendous assist:turnover ratioanother week or two and his knees will buckle from the extra minutes per game
11/2/2012 10:17:05 PM
brandon rush just did something serious to his knee.
11/2/2012 11:06:07 PM
That'll be Brown making those 3/4 court shots in the NBA.
11/2/2012 11:26:29 PM
bill simmons suggested the thunder should have traded westbrook instead of harden.... smh
11/3/2012 12:13:23 AM
that announcer always makes noises like that for buzzer beaters. he even does it in the video game.
11/3/2012 12:49:23 AM
man, the clippers sure do blow. only beat the lakers by 10....

They won the west last year with westbrook and harden. Also fitting that Houston got Lin and Harden since Houston's management is a big user of basketball analytics, and those guys are high value guys in advanced basketball analyses.[Edited on November 3, 2012 at 3:44 AM. Reason : .]

Of course they should have traded westbrook over harden. I've been saying that for two years. Very simple point. You never trade a superstar who is just entering his prime. Harden is actually a steal at the max salary whereas westbrook is way over paid as an above average pg. OKC really screwed themselves.
11/3/2012 8:54:52 AM
Let the season play out. They are still learning to play without him. Westbrook had a great game last night also.Point guards like Westbrook are rare. Above average shooting guards are a dime a dozen (I'm aware he's better than "above average"...I'm just saying that he's easier to replace).
11/3/2012 9:21:45 AM
Harden was a steal at his old salary before he was traded, but everyone knows he was going to sign a huge deal by the end of the year... If they traded Westbrook, who's to say they wouldn't have to sign Harden to essentially the same deal Westbrook had?You make it sound like Harden is a young gun and Westbrook is some old fart... They both are 23. Lets wait a month before saying OKC traded the wrong player.[Edited on November 3, 2012 at 9:33 AM. Reason : jBrick beat me to the punch]
11/3/2012 9:30:59 AM
Actually sg is significantly more rare than pg. The league has 20 good pg right now and only a handful of good sg. Good sg under 25? Only harden and George really. OKC messed up big time, theres no need to let the season play out we've got several seasons worth of data. They could've just dropped Perkins sorry ass and no one would've noticed bc they're at their best with westbrook, harden, sefolosha, durant, ibaka lineup anyway. Plus with aldrich, collison, and thabeet they had plenty of solid big man depth
11/3/2012 9:54:59 AM
So you think Harden is even better than Westbrook? He reminds me of Tmac. After transferring to Magic, he showed his talent finally. He didn't live under the shadow of VC anymore.[Edited on November 3, 2012 at 2:45 PM. Reason : add another note]

11/3/2012 3:58:56 PM
Noooooo.Westbrook is the top 15 players in the league already.
11/3/2012 4:14:10 PM
Westbrook is debatably a top 15 PG. Top 15 player overall is not debate worthy.Let me know when he figures out how to make shots, get assists, or stop leading the league in turnovers. I've never seen such irrational opinions around one player.
11/3/2012 6:44:54 PM
"debatable a top 15 pg"?!?!?I just started posting on this thread.... are you trying to troll or are you really THAT ridiculous?
11/3/2012 7:39:02 PM
^^Don't you think he's top 15 in the league now? He's already a dream team member.
11/3/2012 8:17:20 PM
This threads the epitome of why sports talk sucksAh, fuck it, it's really just face and shoot that suck
11/3/2012 8:34:53 PM
Okay newsflash.Westbrook has low assists and high turnovers. He doesnt make many of the shots he takes. If you honestly believe he's a great player you are nuts.He makes some incredible plays occasionally and can be fun to watch, but I think we should hold him to the same standards that we hold every other player in the league to. In order to be considered a great player, you should have to produce.[Edited on November 4, 2012 at 8:34 AM. Reason : a]
11/4/2012 8:33:01 AM
ugh, brandon rush out for the year with a torn ACL. Warriors werent making the playoffs anyway, but hate to see any stars go down this early in the year. The one bright spot is that Harrison barnes will get even more minutes he's not ready for.
11/4/2012 9:20:53 AM
Many ppl say Westbrook is better than Rose. I agree.
11/4/2012 11:00:07 AM
While Rose is certainly overrated (worst MVP in NBA history?) he is clearly better than Westbrook.Did you guys miss the regular season last year? Westbrook had a really rough year. How about the playoffs two years ago when he submarined OKC?Opinions are cool and everything, but NBA is not the place to have them when they're completely unsubstantiated.
11/4/2012 11:34:32 AM
But Rose has had so many injuries already. When Grant Hill first came to the league, ppl considered him as the Jordan's successor. But injuries ruined his career. On the contrary, Westbrook keeps healthy and plays better and better.
11/4/2012 1:19:59 PM
^ but that's not really true. Westbrook was worse last year than he was the season before...

^^ because i'm right. Westbrook doesn't sniff the elite PG territory. The guy simply hasn't become a good PG yet.I'm not saying he can't become one. But you guys are just arguing falsehoods. We've already been through these ridiculous arguments with Carmelo Anthony and Kobe Bryant. Here's a comparison between Lawson and Westbrook last season.
