i put away four episodes yesterday. I didn't realize i hadn't watched the show since the fall. they dated back to January. It's good to see Diggle getting more to do and Manu Bennett as Deathstroke

just wrapped up season 1.

wow. really shocked to see them kill off Tommy. I for sure thought it would have been Malcom, and may well could be, but I have to imagine John Barrowman will be back as the Dark Archer. especially with his plan only half successful.

Roy Harper and Slade Wilson characters will both be series regulars next season. the latter, i suppose, means a lot more time on the island which i really enjoyed as it went along.

I'm not a huge fan of this 'I'm conflicted, I'm not going to kill' rant that Ollie is on...it makes this show seem even more Batman-y.

That said, I enjoyed the premiere. Interested to see where they're going with the Summer Glau storyline, but that's my Firefly fanboy streak.

So far pretty good through three episodes.

I'm liking all the shout-outs to the DC brand with all the 52's, Amazo and Metamorpho has been pretty fun to catch.

Don't know if you caught it at the end of last week's episode with the confrontation with Black Canary and her former life. The assassin told her that Ra's Al Ghul wants her back. Yep the same guy that was the villain in the Dark Knight. Wonder if they'll get Liam Nelson to play him in a cameo.

Also we got to see the outfit the assassin wore was pretty much the same as what Merlyn wore so you wonder if he was a member of the League of Assassins. I'm thinking he was. Also makes you wonder if Black Canary is Sarah Lance who was found by the League and brought back to life with the Lazarus Pit.

Now you have to wonder if Brother Blood will turn out like the comics with his followers. I was also seeing Bronze Tiger as a villain.


I'm guessing we'll see Slade without his eye next episode and what is important about the boat they are on and why it's named Amazo.

If they're going to take that route, there's no reason to think anyone is ever actually dead on this show.

Plus, I don't really care for him as a bad guy all that much.

League of Assassin's have the Lazarus Pit which can heal you from just about any injury and prolong your life. It was supposed to be magical, but later on Batman figured out the chemical makeup of it. Downsides of using the pits is that it would make you stronger for a bit and make you insane.


Within the Arrow universe it fits with what they've given us so far. With Merlyn's costume the same as one of the League's. There's the whole science angle from Dr. Ivo and his search for the end of human sickness cure thing. So maybe that's what the Lazarus Pit will be this time, something that Ivo created. Maybe it'll be more like the comics where you can only use a pit once and the League is using Ivo to figure out how to use it more than once.

Who knows where it'll go, but I'm still hoping Liam Nelson shows up. Also glad to see they are making Brother Blood's followers crazy.

Yeah, i figured they play the lazuras pit angle since he's affiliated with the league. I just don't cares for him much as a character and wishhadn't done it.

I didn't think of how the stuff on the sub may tie into the pit though. That's makes a lot of sense. Makes an easy connection between sarah and the league as well.
