I bet they won't do it again.

it's rare to find such consensus on an issue on TWWhopefully the jury sees things the same way

^^^correct.in many cases you can be charged with a crime if you use force to break up a fight between two other people where you have insufficient knowledge of the situation.[Edited on October 18, 2011 at 1:25 PM. Reason : ^]

Hero = person who halts a man from defending himself against TWO clearly violent aggressors? And risk appearing as an aggressor yourself? Cost-benefit analysis says "No thank you".
10/18/2011 1:58:53 PM
^^that has nothing to do with stepping into a violent situation[Edited on October 18, 2011 at 2:01 PM. Reason : ^]

^those laws are for injured/ill persons. they are not about breaking up fights/stopping violence/etc. two completely different things
10/18/2011 3:01:44 PM
^That was my point. The good samaritan laws have nothing to do with stopping a crime in action, but with negligence, and so isn't even relevant to this thread. Two different realms of law. My bottom line is that there's no duty to act in either realm, and you're best off to not get involved, from a legal perspective.

i would never intervene when one person has an extremely dangerous weapon

I would intervene by taking the rod from him by force if necessary...So I could beat those wimmenz for a while myself.

I'm glad those bitches got what they deserved. Hope the McD's guy gets the charges dropped.

I've saved several people's lives not because I am 'super awesome' but because I hold myself responsible for others' well being if it is in fact within my ability.People that disagree with my sentiments are why the planes were taken over by terrorists with simple box cutters on 911...I'm not here to judge, we all make our own choices in life. Good men failing to act is a terrible thing. No, there's no law saying you must act proactively to save someone, but that employee in particular was out of control and once the two women were down he kept at it with a gleam in his eye and should be charged with a crime - he went beyond self defense and methodically continued inflicting damage against people he had just rendered helpless...simple assault doesn't justify those two women...someone's sister, mother, daughter, girlfriend, etc. getting bludgeoned to the point it went to.
10/18/2011 6:27:15 PM
I feel these 2 ladies underestimated fucking with someone who's pulled hard time.I can imagine him giving a beat down like that on D block, or getting one.

they should have given the women their quarterpounders with cheese, and let the man get back to work.
10/18/2011 7:23:37 PM
+1 for the good guys. As mad as I've been after seeing all of the other "fast food brawl" videos, this is a breath of fresh air. Nice to see the scumbags actually get a metal rod upside the head for a change.
10/18/2011 7:30:55 PM
they should lock all three of them up.
10/18/2011 7:34:34 PM
we have an ex con who served his time and debt to society, and then got out and got a regular job. He was just punchin' the clock trying to support himself, pay taxes, and maybe make a little fun money for Halloween and Christmas. NO ONE should fault him for fighting back after he got slapped or bringing the hammer when they pursued him into the kitchen.
10/18/2011 7:40:17 PM

hopefully the jury will see that this guy actually was trying to get his life back together by going in to the work force...
10/18/2011 9:42:27 PM
I'd love to hear an interview with these two woman and hear them try to justify their actions that led to the beat down. I'm sure that would either be comedy gold or just make me go
10/18/2011 9:44:54 PM
^^That's good and all, but that doesn't excuse violent, criminal behavior. The reason the jury should acquit him is because he didn't do anything wrong.
