Money, tell us about your nametag. How great would it have been to have been at the Anne Heche taping?

I listen at night when cooking...or yeah in the car, especially when on trips. Sometimes when working outside. To those of you who listen to Hardcore History: more power to ya. They're like 6 hour episodes and are sometimes multi-parters
2/28/2017 1:22:49 PM
i listen when i'm driving, mowing grass, working out in the shop, reloading ammo, etc. for stuff like hardcore history i will sometimes just sit in my recliner and listen instead of watching tv.
2/28/2017 10:56:09 PM
I listen while walking the dogs, making dinner, folding clothes, etc. Basically any time I'm doing something that doesn't require my full attention. They're also great to listen to while heading to and from work.----Check out Transmissions from Colony One, the story of the first colony attempt on Mars. It's got pretty great sound design and a full cast with no narrator.
3/1/2017 7:34:46 AM
Sounds cool. Is it overly technical?
3/1/2017 8:52:06 AM
It's definitely technical, but I think it's handled in a "The listener isn't stupid" way. Most things are eventually explained, and a lot of the tech just comes from military-speak/tech jargon/acronyms that get cleared up at some point. It's one of the few podcasts to make me say, "Holy shit!" in the middle of an episode. Give it a few and you'll probably get hooked.[Edited on March 1, 2017 at 12:17 PM. I'll definitely try it.
3/1/2017 12:19:36 PM
y'all listen to S-Town?
5/8/2017 6:10:41 PM
S-town was awesome
5/12/2017 10:13:52 AM
i generally really liked. some of the digging in his sexual past was a bit of an invasion of privacy to me and i could've done without it. but it was fascinating and very interesting.
5/12/2017 5:21:44 PM
Your Kickstarter Sucksfunny shit, even with some rough audio/production in the first few episodes but they're getting better with each one.
5/12/2017 7:07:37 PM
I haven't seen it mentioned on here but I really enjoyed CrimetownIt's about the mob in Providence RI and is by the same people that did the HBO show The Jinx.
5/18/2017 4:54:46 PM
Cum Town...No seriously, its like 3 NYC comedians who just sit around and talk about random shit and its hilarious, also highly offensive.
5/22/2017 3:57:35 PM
Pretty deep into Up & Vanished right now.
5/23/2017 10:41:25 AM
I can't seem to get into true crime podcasts. The closest things that I've enjoyed have been Lore and S-town. Alternatively, I've spent the last few weeks burning through The Adventure Zone, a real-play D&D podcast that's a spinoff from their main one My Brother, My Brother, and Me. I originally started listening to get a feel for the mechanics of the game, continued because it was hilarious, and have caught completely up because of the campaign's arc.
5/23/2017 2:12:18 PM
I've been loving The West Wing Weekly podcast.
5/23/2017 8:33:14 PM
Just finished S-Town and thoroughly enjoyed it.
6/5/2017 11:11:18 AM
"News AF" is pretty funny. 3 guys with comedy skills commenting on a few of that weeks strange news stories "red state update" 2 progressives from TN that do redneck accents and talk shit about trump. they have fake sponsors of the show that are usually funny
6/5/2017 6:36:48 PM
6/7/2017 11:52:44 AM
yea, sometimes I have no idea who they are talking about, especially in the underground comedy scene, but man they will have me in tears sometimes.
6/8/2017 4:13:15 PM
been real into Pod Save America and Lovett or Leave It lately. if you're a snowflake, that shit is for you
6/8/2017 4:37:35 PM
Anyone listen to Up and Vanished?Started out pretty decently but has really started dragging along.Content isn't very compelling anymore. Mostly filler.
7/9/2017 11:44:49 AM
Jocko Podcast is great, he has some really interesting stories/guests and can be incredibly motivational too. It's definitely got a military base to it but you don't have to be in the military to appreciate it.

Pod Save America, Intercepted, Reveal, DecodeDC, Invisibilia, Freakonomics, Planet Money, 99% Invisible, - I pretty much listen to every episode of theseHow Did This Get Made - I only listen if I've seen the movie, that said, when I have it's probably my favorite podcastAlso going through old Mike and Tom Eat Snacks - great shit, but after doing like 15 episodes or so I think I'm kind of getting bored with themOthers that I listen to depending on interest level: WTF, Joe Rogan, Song Exploder, Art of Manliness, The Sporkful, SC Featured, Stuff You Should Know, What's the Point, The Bowery Boys, Rock Solid
7/10/2017 1:52:39 PM
Sword and Scale is pretty good. Went to it for the Grant Haze episode (skip the first 12 minutes) but stuck around after.
