Anyone know what's up with newegg's website recently? If I click on links like this, from a site other than newegg.com itself (like a referral link)... newegg.com just shows a blank white page until I refresh.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227725Second, the prices are all jacked up:[Edited on September 15, 2011 at 4:06 PM. 9/23/2011 2:59:55 PM
^I do too, but I went to the credit union with a couple I had recently, and they were able to transfer the balance to my bank account...no more hassle than cashing a check.
9/23/2011 3:10:52 PM

9/23/2011 3:22:26 PM

i've got a 128 GB SSD and i'm constantly running out of room. be sure you're going to be satisfied with such a small drive if you go for it[Edited on December 29, 2011 at 11:36 PM. Reason : .]
12/29/2011 11:36:09 PM
yeah 120 is really the minimum size for an SSD. anything less isnt worth it
12/30/2011 12:01:46 AM
The thing is this SSD is for the living room laptop...which is only used for internet browsing and spotify. I don't need space at all for this machine...I could probably get by with 32GB if I wanted to push the issue. I'm tryin to live in the cloud ]
12/30/2011 12:35:46 AM
install your OS on the SSDsave everything else to the SATA.

i absolutely love my ssd. i had 2 750GB sata drives raided together from factory, decided to swap one out for a 80 GB ssd and I'm not looking back. runs faster, battery life improved, runs quieter, generates less heat, all around better.

Blah, I have $140 in giftcards and they have no way to accept them. bastards.
2/15/2012 5:24:28 PM
Im positive newegg takes gift cards during checkout in the Gift Card/Google Offer Code box. Or were you trying something else?
2/16/2012 7:18:10 AM
visa/amex giftcards...
2/16/2012 4:35:06 PM
I don't see any reason why those wouldn't work. They usually work just like a credit card.Is that how you tried to run them at check out?
2/16/2012 4:38:24 PM
Newegg system does not allow more than 1 payment type. They are running an old payment gateway system; unlike amazon, where you can select payment from multiple credit/debit sources on checkout.
2/16/2012 4:58:10 PM
run them as a cash advance with your bank.
2/16/2012 5:22:04 PM
I'll just wait till later in the year once intel's 22nm NAND's start their production. Everyone in the industry is shifting from performance and reliability towards capacity and the cheaper price/GB now. Really don't need it, but would be cool to have.
