Sarah Michelle Gellar couldn't hold a candle to this girl. This isn't 1998 anymore. She's like 35 now.

1. read the thread dedicated to Ohio State

2. Pryor needed to leave. His decision to leave/other news about him lately likely won't have much bearing on NCAA sanctions.

alright. a Rutgers player was paralyzed on a kickoff last season. it's a horrible thing, but football is a physical sport and sometimes these things happen. what is Greg Schiano's reaction? GET RID OF KICKOFFS!!!!!!

seriously?

i want to replace 2nd & 3rd downs. with no downs. you either get a 1st down, or your punt. reduces the risk of injury.

i want to replace the game with some sort of video version of the game. that way no one gets hurt, except the occasional carpal tunnel syndrome.

RE: Brass Monkey's ACC predictions on page1:

If FSU absolutely destroys us, I see us turning things around and possibly winning out afterwards. If we play our asses off and lose in the final few minutes (probably on a fumble or missed field goal), then I see us shutting the bed the rest of the season. If we actually beat FSU, then we will lose to UNC (we become ranked, it becomes a trap game).

From your Boston College predictions...don't be surprised if UMass wins that game. They are on the rise.

When was the last time ECU landed a 5* player? Yeah that's one reason why ECU will not be moved up to 3* status, besides the fact that they haven't done shit worth mentioning. "Oh we won C-USA and beat VaTech and West Virginia" - ECU fan. So the fuck what.

As for NC State I'm not putting them on the same level as North Carolina, no matter how wrong it may be. Besides when I started buying the EA games State was a 4* for every year that I bought it. Last one I bought was 2008 I believe. North Carolina has less ACC championships than Duke and State, they have horrible attendance, and their fans don't care about the team after Midnight Madness. Fuck those cheating assholes. I'm out.

I'd bump Penn State and Miami down to 5*

Miami has 5 national championships. They are still a name team that is even mentioned in rap songs because of how good their past teams have been. If Al Golden locks down South Florida he'll be able to bring them back to national prominence. He's a very good coach that many thought would take over Penn State after Joe Pa retired.

As for Penn State, they should have more than two recognized national championships since they have seven undefeated, untied seasons in the history of their program. They have the second biggest stadium in college football and tradition that most schools only dream of. They are a 6* program, and once Joe Pa retires there will be a ton of coaches knocking down their door for the HC position, provided PSU doesn't do any coach-in-waiting bullshit.

I think the 6* programs should be limited to 10 based on a combination of being successful for more than just a 5-10 year stretch and currently a premier school. Upon further review, I'll keep Miami there, but not Penn State

Here's my 10 (in no particular order):

Alabama
Texas
USC
Ohio State
Michigan
Oklahoma
Nebraska
Notre Dame
Florida
Miami

I don't understand why they just don't go get it. Reggie Bush and USC are stupid.

Reggie Bush Heisman not returned

Quote :
"LOS ANGELES -- Reggie Bush said in September that he would return his Heisman Trophy after the NCAA levied heavy sanctions against USC.

So, where is Bush's trophy?

It's been in storage at the San Diego Hall of Champions, museum vice president Angela LaChica told ESPNLosAngeles.com Thursday.

"We have it in our possession and we are now working with the family to coordinate the next step," LaChica said.

LaChica said Thursday she has been "fully aware" of the trophy's presence in the museum for quite a while. The San Diego Hall of Champions is a local multi-sport museum in Balboa Park that honors pro and collegiate athletes with San Diego ties, like former Denver Broncos running back Terrell Davis and famed closer Goose Gossage.

Earlier this week, the BCS stripped USC of the 2004 BCS title and took that trophy. Last July, USC removed the Bush Heisman one month after the sanctions were levied against the football program.

USC received one copy of the Heisman and Bush and his family another in December 2005.

USC was required to disassociate itself from Bush's name, so the school returned its copy of the trophy to the Heisman Trust in New York. And, amid speculation the Heisman Trust would strip him of the trophy and order it returned, Bush later announced in a statement in September that he would return his copy as well, saying the decision to do so was "heartbreaking."

Heisman Trophy Trust spokesperson Tim Henning said earlier Thursday he could not comment on the trophy's whereabouts. When asked if he anticipated he'd be able to announce receiving the trophy soon, he was noncommittal.

"I believe that at some point in the near future we will have further comment," Henning said. "But at this point we do not."

Bush received the Heisman for his efforts in the 2005 season, when he ran for 1,740 yards and 16 touchdowns and added nearly 500 receiving yards and a punt-return touchdown. He won the award handily over Texas quarterback Vince Young and teammate Matt Leinart, who finished in third place.

But Bush's name no longer appears in any Heisman record books, including on the trust's official site, where the list of award-winners skips from 2004 (Leinart) to 2006 (Ohio State quarterback Troy Smith.)

The eight-person trust's monthly meeting is scheduled for Tuesday in New York."

we're the second best 3* prestige program in the nation right now, behind miss state...which is pretty fair. dan mullen is a hell of a coach
